   I’ll never dine here again. This is the second time in a few weeks I’ve had the same exact awful experience. I hoped it was a fluke and went back bc the kids enjoy games. The food itself was t bad, fairly good for bar food. The service was nonexistent. 30 min for a server to make their way to us. And another 30 minutes between ordering anything (drinks,food, napkins, cutlery) to be delivered. And when your food does arrive you can’t eat it because the server doesn’t bring cutlery. I get short staffed situations but this is just plain bad management. Do better D&B Fairfax.

   Had our sons birthday party here- the waitress was helpful and able to help get the food out for 12 hungry 11 year olds. Kids had a great time playing games and the birthday boy had a great party.

   The experience was good. We celebrated my son’s 9th birthday party. We had good service when we could find our server. The food was good and the entertainment for the boys was excellent and kept them busy.

   Great for end-of-season party for the team. Kids played games, parents hung out, sports was on all the TVs. Excellent!!!

   We were seated almost an hour late. Food was terrible. Buns were solid. They were as hard as croutons. Steaks were dry and over cooked. Pasta was okay. If it wasn’t for the games, there would be no reason to go. Server was nice, but you could tell the place was understaffed.

   Good location. Service was good and food was good. I like the updated menu. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest though. All games were working that I seen so my children was happy and had a great time.

    Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. Reservation was made for 3:15 pm and they did not have table available for my party until 45 mins after reservation time and the reason was because the parties that were occupying the tables were out playing games and holding up the tables for us. I believe of your done eating you should pay so other people can occupy the tables, it is inconsiderate of people to do that. Nothing wrong with the staff of Dave and busters at all but maybe they should change that rule.

    The staff tried their best but were overwhelmed by the volume of people there on a weekday when there was no school. We were there an hour before we got our food. The bartender wouldn’t serve us because we were sitting at a table not the bar and there was a shortage of wait staff. Idiots because when we arrived there was no one sitting at the bar. The manager seemed very focused on sweeping the floor. Our server was as attentive as could be considering he was one of 3 there.

    We waited at the bar for 15 minutes, which had about 4 other patrons in addition to the 2 of us. Not busy at all, although i realize they supply the hard beverages to the rest of the place, which was not that busy either. The bartender never came over. I walked around the side of the bar where she was talking to a waiter to let her know we were there, and she said she’d be over in 5 minutes. I said ok, but we’ve already been waiting for 15 mins. She said she’d get to us. She eventually came over to us about 5 minutes later and asked if we needed a drink menu, which she handed to us and said she’d be back in several minutes. When she came back, we asked if she would please wipe off the bar, which we thought would take a minute or less. It was visibly dirty. She couldn’t reach my side, so I asked her if I could see the rag. She said no, I can’t allow you to do that. She slowly walked down the entire stretch of the bar to get back over to me, so she could wipe in front of me. At this point, it had been about 30 minutes since we arrived and still didn’t have drinks. Eventually, my sister ordered a mixed drink. The bartender asked to see her id. She held up her wallet, and the bartender made her remove her id from the wallet. At this point, it was clear she was being passive aggressive and I asked her “For real…. I wasn’t trying to be rude to you when I came over to let you know we were here.” My sister said “Yeah, clearly we’ve gotten off on the wrong foot.” The bartender never acknowledged we’d even said anything, which was confirmation that she was just being petty. My son walked over and sat down. She asked if he was 21 (he’s 13), then told him he couldn’t sit at the bar. I’m not sure if this was her just being difficult or if it really was their policy, because he’s sat with us at many bars in restaurants in VA. He ordered sweet tea but got unsweet. Once we got our drinks, we paid and moved to a table, where we received excellent service and the food was great.

    Awful! Arrived to be told they couldn’t honor our reservation as apparently the reservation doesn’t guarantee a time. Many things we tried to order weren’t available. Food was fine but overpriced. Nice waitress was the only positive.

    Been there many times and had decent experiences but last night was absolutely terrible. From start to finish from when I sat down to when they FINALLY took my bill was 1 hr 45 min for a table of 5. I was completely ignored and almost had to set off forewords for the waiter to acknowledge my existence…terrible

    Our server Richard was the best! He catered to all of our needs, and was very patient with our big group! He even took pictures of us and recommended the best spot to take photos with the best lighting. My son’s party was a blast - thanks to Richard and the other crew for making our evening memorable.

    We had two families meeting for lunch and some fun. We requested seating suitable for children and were offered seating very close to the bar. After that, we were seated a distance from most patrons which impacted our level of service. It appeared the restaurant may have been understaffed as our server suggested we use the QR Code for our orders due to their inability to cover multiple patrons. Overall, this dining experience was very different than any we have had in the past. In the future, we expect to receive a higher level of service. Thank you.

    Service was extremely slow. Arrived at 2pm- no drinks brought till 240. Waitress seemed tired or annoyed. Party of 10 Ordered 8 snow cones took over 45 minutes. Ambience was nice, kids had fun For a 500.00 tab not happy with servcie

    Service was sub-par, mojito was very watered down, a wine that was on the menu (Ecco Domani)"wasn't available at that location,"women's bathroom wasn't clean and the toilet seats are broken/askew.

    Great experience celebrating my teen’s bday. The service was fantastic. Servers were attentive and the manager was around- not ghosting. The fairfax location is very clean, airy and modern. Much better experience than the Springfield location. Definitely stick with bar food and avoid the healthy options. My salad was awful. The lettuce was wilted and brown, vegetables soggy. Not palatable.

    We were greeted upon Arrival and was taken care of immediately and was seated. We were introduced to a server whom took our drink orders and gave her us information on a few cocktails. We left to go and play games and upon returning the server started taking some additional orders along with food orders. She seemed to be not as friendly as earlier, distracted and once some of the food order were delivered, we never saw her again but a manager took over by obtaining our tabs and was apologitic

    The person selling the game cards informed us there was no host/hostess there to seat us or where to go to be seated. Our Table for 11 we reserved through Open Table was not set up. We weren’t sure where to sit for our birthday party and it was quite stressful since we arrived 20 mins early to set up. Finally we figured out where to sit and we were left to push tables and chairs together and set up table ourselves. I explained to Manager the situation. He didn’t say much or apologize for the inconvenience. Our waiter was good however and we tipped him well. The kids had a great time during the party playing games, so it all worked out in the end. I must say that when you spend that much money some place you expect at least a minimal level of courtesy and service from staff. I would still recommend for the ambience but be aware if you plan to host a larger birthday party.

    Expensive. Food selection was good. Burgers a little sloppy, but not bad. Service was poor. Slow to take order. Made reservations, but didn't matter. Told just sit anywhere. Weird as if they didn't know they even took reservations. Place has a casino feel to it. Will probably go back one day. Games and such are fun. Will skip the meal though.
