   Covid policy disgraceful, brought through bar to restaurant and place packed, no masks, people everywhere, no distancing. Had we known this we would not have attended. DJ in bar, very loud, we could not have a conversation during dinner. Food was nice but overall disappointing, lovely setting and has potential but personally would not return.

   Everything was perfect food was amazing quality and service was very good really nice place for few drinks and a nice meal highly recommend it and Will definitely be back.

   Richard Nolan who was working that night was brilliant, he makes sure all his guests are being looked after , food was lovely and the staff were excellent, I’d go there every week if I could and would recommend it too anyone

    I would recommend getting vol u vants chicken and mushroom be unreal.. would aso recommend better cocktails as some of them are not great and not really nice.. other than that it was amazing

    Social distancing was not observed very well. Tables were too close together. Food could have been hotter and there was a mix up on one of the orders in so far as we didn't get what was ordered. I had been there previously on two different occasions and it was much better then so I won't be doing a return visit very soon. I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't be recommending it at the moment

    Great evening, very tasty food. We weren't rushed or didnt have to wait long between the meals, very pleasant service. All and all great night! Looking forward going back again 🙂

    This was our second time visiting Deansgrove and it was just beautiful. The service was excellent and the food simply delicious. The staff are so lovely and cannot do enough for you. Thank you so much for looking after us both as always.

    Enjoyed a dinner for two last Saturday night. There was a good number of tables serving couples and small groups and then one large table of 15 or so. Good atmosphere, lovely decor. Starter and mains were slow coming but myself and hubby were not in any rush so this was not a complaint for us. Food was very tasty for starters we the ham hock with nice pickled veg and the ribs which were a very generous size. Mains then fillet steak surf & turf and ribeye steak, both cooked as ordered and we found the sides of fries and veg good. Dessert then we shared the triple chocolate gateaux which was delicious. Overall very good meal.

    Slightly understaffed but the staff working were excellent and definitely added to the meal. Food was very good and plenty of options. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

    Just few things that could be improved: Social distancing between service staff and dinners Waitress asked if my 4 year old wants diluted drink instead of water 3 times and I had to say no each time, at the end my 4 year old asked for it and got it, I felt it was forced. You ask once and that's it! Main course (fish) was very small for an adult portion Kids main course (spaghetti bolognese) was €13 way too dear for kids mains At the end when I went up to pay I was overcharged by €19, but it was refunded when I highlighted it It's a lovely place and food was tasty with great atmosphere but its the little things like this that brought down the points.. But we will be back to give it another chance

    Overall brilliant meal. Claire and Aileen were brilliant they were very helpful. The bar staff were a small bit poor. Food was amazing. Cant wait to go back.

    First night eating out since lockdown and to say the experience was so good. Food was amazing and staff are so friendly and nothing was any hassle to them. Great job will be back.

    Really lovely staff, food and overall experience. Would possibly recommend an early bird or special offer section as the steak is a little on the pricey side. Steak came beautifully cooked with chips and vegetables and tasted really good. Dessert was small but delicious. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

    Absolutely beautiful food! Every dish had a unique and delicious taste. The steaks were so tender, there was no effort in cutting. A perfect place for a family/friends meal or just for two. Nothing beats good food and value for money.

    Food was cold and uncooked. Ruined my wife's birthday. The only saving grace was the waiting staff who were top class and couldn't apologise enough. Waiting staff if have any sense would leave as it will not last throwing muck like that out to people.

    We paid our first visit to this restaurant and I have to say that it was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had as a family. The most striking attribute was the staff and service, they practically bent over backwards to make sure that everything was ok and made sure that the kids were comfortable. The food was top quality and the steak in particular was amazing . We were also accompanied by some guests who were international business colleagues and were very happy that we chose Deansgrove as a place to dine . I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good quality food and surroundings and we will be making Deansgrove a regular place for us to dine whether it's business or pleasure. Well done guys and thank you.
