   Extraordinary menu and service. The tenderloin was amazing as was the miso black cod. Service was on point and I’m surprised this experience is available here in Medford. Far and beyond the best dining in the area.

   The food was excellent and unique. Three steaks and two pork bellies cook as requested. The waitstaff was accommodating and left us wanting for nothing. Except for the food to take a little time. This is a dining experience meant to savor and enjoy! I surprised by the reviews that left unhappy. Everyone from the waitress, to the chefs, and the young man clearing in between courses asked if everything was to our liking. Only request, add back the passionfruit desert and put that passionfruit cocktail on the menu!

   Exceptional! Please open for lunch seating, not just take out. We want the whole lunch experience! Please double the amount of polenta on the lamb dish. Loved the bay leaf ice cream Cocktails amazing, especially the Negroni.

   Our second time eating there, we all felt that the food wasn't at the same level of the first time. I ordered Gnocki and i found it to be mushy and over seasoned. The Butternut squash soup was very good. The green salad was only so so. My husband didn't really like his duck. I am willing to give it another try to see if it better next time.

    Excellent food, portions not big. Excellent place for special occasions: quiet, romantic, great service, food well-presented. Excellent wine list, but $40 and up.

    Something went wrong in the kitchen and we waited forever for our food. No comp offered for the 1 1/2 hour wait.

    Decant was…ok. I got a steak, ordered medium rare it was delivered cooked to medium/medium well… approx 8oz, under salted, and topped with what appeared to be some grated parmesan — the jus was weak and vaguely sweet — the veggies were decent. The flavors were ok, but it wasn’t worth the $58 they charged for it. My spouse got some lamb that was alright, but honesty not as good as what we have made at home, the flavors were just kind of weak… Starter was a steak tartare, it was ok, under seasoned and served with two little bread for the amount of meat served — it required ordering additional bread, a focaccia, that was ok but kind of greasy. There aren’t really any non alcoholic drinks on the menu, I asked for iced tea and the server looked at me like I was speaking Greek. The wine was decent. We skipped desert. We probably won’t be back or recommend this place. It wasn’t bad per say, but it was the fine dining equivalent of an indifferent shrug, certainly not worth $60 per plate.

    We had to ask them to turn down the music …. Which they did. My husband did not like the gnocchi…. My food was ok, however, for the price I was disappointed. The really good dish was the roasted veggies with carrot jus. The tables were very close together, making it difficult to get in and out. I’m glad I can check this restaurant off my list….we won’t be returning.

    We were excited to spend New Year‘s Eve at Decant. The first disappointment was that they were out of pork belly appetizer, one of the main reasons for picking Decant. Next my husband’s appetizer came before the soup when my soup arrived. When the soup finally arrived, it was too close to entree, giving us no time between courses. Decant made no changes in the menu for New Year‘s Eve, which I found odd, given the occasion. The food was good but not even close to the price which is exorbitant. Sorry, I don’t think l we‘ll be back. Waitress seemed always apologizing to us and the people next to us. Why not just do it right?

    We are on the heated covered patio. The food was great. The service was great and the sent friendly. The prices are premium but the food is worth the price. The only problem was the cold seeped into the enclosure through the openings on the side covers.

    $250 for dinner! One appetizer, two entrees. Fries ($12) and bread (cold focaccio) Two glasses of champagne ($20 ea) two glasses of Cabernet ($15-18 each) The duck was good, the venison was over cooked. Would not go again.

    Our second visit to Decant. Both were great meals. We sit in the outdoor patio area and it's always plenty warm even in the Winter weather. Portions are average, seasoning is on point, and nice gluten free offerings. A wonderful wine list, and a small list of cocktails. Prices are high for our area, so this tends to be a "special occasion" spot for us.

    Arguably the best food we’ve ever had in southern Oregon. The chef is truly talented at combining flavors and creating a visual masterpiece. And we can’t say enough good things about our server Ed who made fantastic recommendations and excellent drinks!

    Food, cocktails, wine and service were superior. Only downside, this restaurant is WAY OVERPRICED. Cocktails and wine glasses almost $20 per pour, $30 appetizers, and a small serving short-rib main for $55.

    We had a wonderful surprise in this unexpected diamond in the rough in Medford. The Day Scallops were amazing! The salmon was perfectly seasoned with a great unexpected crisp taste. The combination of fantastic house cocktails with the perfect pairings was a great way to end our evening. We will be back the next time we drive through Medford!

    The service was fantastic from the welcoming at the door to the thank you as we departed. A very pleasant touch was the complimentary pastry from the chef to absolutely let you know they meant to serve excellent food. The meal was very well portioned and prepared to perfection. The presentation of the course was meticulous. Dessert felt terribly rich but managed to not be “heavy” at all with so much flavor. Just amazing!

    Being relatively new to the area and wanting to celebrate our wedding anniversary at someplace very special was important to us. We love Decant’s philosophy … “Local•Organic•Sustainable” ! The relaxing atmosphere was a nice start as we arrived and were seated in a cozy area by the fireplace. From the beginning to the end, the staff was friendly yet professional and quite attentive to our needs. The food was beyond our expectations; which was quite high, knowing the chef has had numerous years of the coveted Michelin Star! We would highly recommend Decanter for fine dining!
