Met with a few friends. Food was enjoyed by all. the staff were friendly & helpful.
Only downside was that the live music was quite loud, so it was hard to hear the conversation at times, but that is what is expected at a pub on a Saturday night.

Once again the Dee Why Hotel served up quality food and service. A regular dining spot on 'cheap' Tuesday.

Food to one forever and came at all different times. Meat pizza had to be sent back as Ham was off. Chef agreed on return. We did get a refund for pizza

The Dee Why Hotel is a very contemporary establishment that has a great family ambience and really nice food. Convenient parking with direct lift access. Several TV screens so you can watch the footy and other major sporting events. Gas fireplace is awesome in Winter.

I'm sorry to report that this is the most unappetizing meal we've had in ages. $28 for a "supposed" parmigiana schnitzel - overcooked piece of chicken with a smear of what was obviously a store bought sauce and melted cheese over the top - sorry, I won't be going back

Melbourne Cup day so was extra noisy, with no where to escape, so ears blasted the whole time.

The quality of the food has gone down considerably.
I have dined here for years and organised events previously, but something has changed.
My veggie burger patty basically disintegrated and looked nothing like it used to. The burger was sloppy, the buns were not fresh.
Both of us were disappointed with our meals.
I hope the quality of the food picks up, as we used to really enjoy your burgers and meals there.

I love the lamb salad here. The food is always delicious, and my family particularly love the burgers. The cocktails are maybe a little light on alcohol, but they taste nice.

Terrible food, not enough bar staff so long waits at the bar. Really noisy. Convenient location which is why we went there.

Good to see Noise level considered - for comfort, people with hearing difficulties, and the louder people have to speak over background noise, the higher the risk of transmission of diseases such as covid.

Good food and great range of beers on tap. Family friendly but lively venue
The drink menu didn’t state egg white in a cocktail and my friend ordered it and had an anaphylactic reaction. when i asked the bar tender if there was egg in the drink he said yes and was not phased by the situation at all when i told him. There was no assistance given, no one checked up, no one apologised. egg is a popular allergy these days and majority of restaurants state if there is egg white in their drinks. it was a very unacceptable response from their end.
A great place to chill and enjoy a few beers or cocktails. Staff always friendly and accomodating. Best burgers on the beaches by far!
Our reservation was organised. Service and value for money being a tight Tuesday was great. I just wasn't happy with the meal that I ordered; Nachos, it wasn't very tasty.
Went there for a birthday and we had extra people on our list so they helped us get a bigger table. Their service was very good.

Calamari was under cooked and the $38 steak was over cooked. Other food was great but was really disappointed with the steak. If we sent it back it would have taken too long and we were very hungry.

We went to dee why hotel for girls dinner, it is why I did booking, didn’t change anything. We still had to wait in the line, after that security guy said all people without booking had to leave. I already told him twice that I have booking. When we were finally in, we got the table next to the toilet entry without any light. When I asked girl, if will be possible to change the table, it was very annoyed for her. With everything there was some problem and all staff was very unhappy. I am sorry, but this is not my problem, they have to work on Friday night. I am very sure, I am not going there anymore and don’t recommend dee why hotel any my friends.

I ordered a pizza on saturday night with friends and it took over 40min, on the other hand the waitress was very attentive and ended up offering a portion of garlic bread for free, she did great! ( cant remember her name but shes was blond curly hair and very nice ;)
