Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse - Atlanta
We came for a Birthday and everything was perfect!
Food was fine, nothing I would recommend but the service was wonderful so that made up for it. Not sure I would go back however
Our server was excellent. He was congenial and accommodating. However, my wife had to send her steak back three times. This was after we wanted about 30 minutes to be served our entrees. For the quality of the food, it was WAY overpriced. Unfortunately it was our first and last time visiting Del Frisco’s. We’ve had tremendous experiences at Fleming’s, Capital Grille and many others and will go visit them the next time we celebrate a special occasion.
Overall the service was good but the food was mediocre, VIP drink is not as good and steak was bland.
Erica was amazing!!
Food and service was exceptional can’t wait to go back
After taking awhile for the food to arrive, the food finally came but was not hot. After waiting for awhile, we definitely didn’t want to wait any longer. The ambiance was great to celebrate a birthday, and the restaurant made sure the day was special with an awesome dessert. The service, on the other hand, was not the best. Our waiter did not check on us at all. It was a little annoying as you would expect better service, especially with the prices you are paying for food and drinks.
Great time ... very nice restaurant!!
This was a first time visit at Del Frisco. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. We will return.
As someone who likes fine dining in Atlanta ( not trying to sound like a snob just giving my opinion) this was good but there is better out there. The drinks were amazing I will say that and the ambiance is really nice as well. Valet was whack wasn’t friendly didn’t open doors for us. The staff inside was very friendly as well as out waitress I wish I rem her name but she was really great and checked on us frequently.
Great date night, but food was way overpriced and only so so.
We had our wedding anniversary and it was our first time going. Good experience
Great service and seafood selection very good.
The service was great from the host to the severs.
The food fell flat served room temp. Bland. Etc.
I previously attended a work function at this restaurant. I was excited to bring my wife and kids here for my wife’s birthday. Every restaurant has an off day and this was the one.
The server was awesome overall. There seemed to be a bit of dysfunction with the food. It took a long time for the food to come out. My wife’s steak was undercooked and mine was overcooked. After the steaks were delivered, our server disappeared for 15 minutes. We had no sides. She apologized and the sides came out. The creamed spinach was cold and the potatoes were undercooked. I had these sides previously so I was disappointed.
I didn’t tell the server about my steak. I just enjoyed the cold tire I was eating. They reheated my wife’s steak. They took off the cost of the sides. That was nice but I would have rather had food that met the quality I know they are capable of. The evening ended with a complimentary bread pudding and cheesecake. The bread pudding was very good.
Our server did her best and I will go back. I was just shocked by the food quality.
The service is fantastic and the food is exceptional...I had the rack of lamb which was delicious...don't forget the butter cake desert---can't go wrong. They do a nice job on social distancing...felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
I love Del Frisco's its my go to for lunch and dinner meetings with clients or a loved one .
The food was mediocre at its best. The service was slow.
If you're a old world wine snob like me, you'll love this place. The food is great too. I did have to wait quite a bit for a hostess to show up but aside from that and the the bathroom needed to be cleaned, it was fantastic. Make sure you take a walk sloooowly up the ramp from the entrance on the parking lot. The wine line up is amazing. If you're seated at the main dining room or at the bar, you need to look up. Beautiful. It's pricey but soooo worth it.
I absolutely loved the patio area. It was open and everyone was spaced out so you felt very safe. I am not sure if it was the patio and the breeze but the food was not as hot as I remember it when I have eaten outside. The taste was great as always but not sizzling. Our server was excellent and gave great recommendations and took very good care of us. The butter cake for dessert is a must and while it looks big, get 2. We only got one and probable could have each eaten our own. It is THAT good. We were disappointed that the baked potato and onion rings were missing but also understand the need to shrink the menu in this current pandemic.
All this said, we will return and enjoy the restaurant many more times. I highly recommend Del Frisco's despite the few minor issues in temperature.
We reserved last minute for a party of 10. They were very gracious. We ended up being a half hour late and they still accommodated our big party.
Our server’s name was Douglas (I think??) and he was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and smooth with his delivery in letting us know about the menu. My roommate and I dined here for our first time and regret not ever visiting sooner. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy once the sun goes down. I started off with the VIP cocktail which was so delicious, I would’ve enjoyed it even if it was a virgin cocktail. My roommate had the Alborino, which was also very great. For our appetizer, we had the shrimp cocktail, which was perfect. For my main course I had a NY Strip and Jumbo Shrimp, and shared the lobster Mac n cheese. The food was phenomenal! It was very satisfying and my steak was cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac n cheese was so tasty, it was hard to stop eating after I was full. Overall I had a great experience and I definitely see myself returning to this location!
Just ok...this place won’t be here long.
IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY AND EVERYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE FOOD IT TOOK TWO HOURS TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FOR THOSE PRICES EVERYTHING SHOULD BE RIGHT. If your having a special occasion THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TOO GO‼️
The waitress was not very attentive. We waited on her a lot. I asked for straws and then silverware and waited an extreme amount of time before someone else came with it. He was the person that brought our food and noticed that we didn’t have any. The food was great, we just needed to have a better waitress. I’ve eaten here before and was pleased with the service and food.
Great! The food was wonderful. Love the ambiance.
Great Services, Waiter Changed Our Seat For Us With No Problem ! Dessert Was Free ! Food Tasted Great As Well !
Great food & excellent service. You can sit on the patio if you are concerned with COVID exposure & if not the dining area inside is spaced out more than 6 feet. Highly recommend for date night.
Great beautiful anniversary desert and card!
We waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. The seats were actually wet so we had to move and the 2nd table had ants under it due to food droppings so we were moved to a 3rd table. We had to request silverware, they didn't know which table to bring out food and we had to request steak knives in order to eat the foods we selected. The mashed potatoes had large potato chunks and the soup was only lukewarm.
The Manager did apologize and our 3 drinks were complimentary. Luckily, the steak was delicious but they lacked sufficient and efficient servers. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed.
Food and service were fantastic. Cooked perfectly and everyone was socially distanced and safe. Will be back soon.
The food was good however a few entrees could have been warmer....All sides were rich and creamy!
Del Frisco's typically is phenomenal. We have been to the NYC and Phildalphia location numerous times, in fact the Philadelphia location is my favorite place to eat in Philadelphia. That said, we were celebrating purchasing my first home and immediately thought to have the dinner after closing at Del Frisco's. Prior to arriving, I had already known what my order would be. The creamed spinach was alright, rather salty but it was OK. First my porterhouse came out way over cooked. I always order medium rare at lower end steakhouses so at DelFrisco's I order medium since they know how to cook the steaks correctly. The steak that came out was severely overcooked, to the point that it was near well done. I try and refrain from sending food back but this was inedible. I sent it back and they returned with a raw steak. Seriously, raw. When I cut into it, it was still cold from the fridge the only marks on it were from possibly cooking it just under 10 seconds to turn the outside meat only from red to light brown. Needless to say, sent it back again. The third attempt came out slightly better but was no where near the Del Frisco standards that I've come to know and love.
It may be due to COVID, but this restaurant location really is not somewhere that I would suggest to anyone to frequent.
Del Frisco's Double Eagle never disappoints. My wife and I went for our anniversary again this year (after going last year). There are many excellent steakhouses (and other fine dining restaurants) in the Atlanta area, but we really enjoy the atmosphere and food at Del Frisco's Double Eagle.
This is a perfect restaurant for a cozy date with someone special in one of the many curved, high-backed booths, or for a productive business meal at a corner table, or for a relaxing evening drink and dinner at the bar. The service is excellent. The food—the steak, obviously, but also the seafood—is outstanding. For lamb lovers, Del Frisco's lamb is beyond superb. And then there's dessert. You'll be too full, but you should do it anyway—especially the butter cake. (I have it on good authority that you can take the cake home with you if you!)
Worst experience as a couple in 18 years together. We got overcharged, steaks over cooked, outside seats wet and needed up with wet clothes. Overall a very terrible experience for $300. This is the first time we’ve ever sent a steak back in 18 years.
Food came out cold. Server was awesome! I’ve been to several del Frisco’s and this is the worst experience (food wise) I’ve ever encountered.
We made a last minute reservation to celebrate my birthday. We were a small party of two and was sat on the second level with a great view of the wine cellar.
Ellen was our incredible server and she made the evening so special. The entire staff was attentive to our needs and you can tell that team work makes the dream work here.
Our food came out a little cold but they were quick to resolve this with the entire team pitching in.
Ellen sealed the night with a beautiful birthday dessert. I felt so special. I will be back with my clients.
