Del Frisco's Grille - Atlanta
The food & service was outstanding!
I was very pleased with the customer service and very pleased with the food. My favorite items were the truffle Mac n cheese and the salmon that was topped with juicy lump crab meat. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.
DelFrisco's is a reliable staple in Atlanta but I was a bit dismayed that they did not follow any COVID-19 protocols. I am sure they may have been short-staffed the night I ate there, everyone was seated upstairs. There was no plexiglass between booths, every table was used and the bar was packed. I hope that they correct this going forward since COVID-19 numbers are spiking.
Upon arrival I approach host and let them know I had a reservation they told me will be five minutes for my table I stand in front of the door for 15-20 minutes, now the front door has several people waiting... and the only reason the host came back is because I had to called the phone to the restaurant SEVERAL to get their attention at the host stand. she seats us then... I had the cheesesteak eggrolls for the appetizer they were warm not hot and or fresh at all. I then proceeded to order the stroganoff it came out extremely extremely cold as well as my friends told me the same thing about their food... mine was resent to me & you could tell 2 complete different chefs made the plate i had previously received from the supposed to be “hot” one which it was still not hot... & not to mention wasn’t tasty... first & last visit.
We had a newer waitress I guess. It took a while to get our drinks, forgot to ring in a side; steak was under cooked, sent it back. Came back about two minutes after it left still undercooked so I just ate it. Receipt came and two sides were on the check that we didn’t order. Liked the restaurant itself, service not so much.
I have been to this location on several occasions however on this day (Saturday 1/2/2021) something just wasn’t right. Not sure who leads the day shift now on the weekend but the service was terribly slow. After sitting at the table for 10+ minutes, we were finally greeted by our server. The table next to us was sitting down before we got there and they still hadn’t been greeted. Very disappointing experience.
Nice Atmosphere, the food was good, not great, just good
The food here is very, very good. Steaks have always been cooked perfectly, drinks are good. The server was good, but the service was very slow and it was not a packed night. All the entrees came out at different times, the sides were hardly warm. I would still recommend because of how good the food is and I’ve had really good service there before

Entrée overpriced, but appetizers, cheesesteak eggrolls, were very good. Under staffed, and limited menu, did not help.

We had a reservation and it still took about 20 minutes before we were seated. The food was great, but our waiter was horrible. H e never came back to check on us after our dinner was served and anything we needed another server had to provide it to us.
Service was good, a bit slow - however they seemed very understaffed. Our entrees & app were disappointing which was shocking as we’ve eaten at other Del Frisco’s & always have been so pleased.
Food was notvthe normal. Chicken was raw and ribs were still cold .... was told because they are reheated. Waitress was awesome for that we will return. Miss the old staff and management who made things happen.
Our friends had not been to Del Frisco’s so we suggested dining there for a post-Christmas dinner. We had a great experience on our previous visit. This time we were highly disappointed. The server was super ditzy and we had to ask and wait for appetizer plates, waters, silverware, etc. I ordered the filet cooked medium (warm pink center) and it came out medium rare. I sent it back only for it come back about the same. Sent it back a second time and it was more cooked but about a third of it was still too rare for my liking. Medium does not equal red, but rather pink. Our friend ordered steak frites which literally means steak and fries but the server did not bring him his fries. He also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts so the server said, “Oh I assumed you wanted those instead.” If he did not want the fries he would not hade ordered the steak frites. Pretty comical. The macaroni and cheese and wedge salad were nice accompaniments but a steak restaurant should know how to properly cook a steak. The fact it had to be sent back twice is telling.
The food is delicious and the service was even better! I highly recommend the ahi tacos, filet duo and truffle mac and cheese!
Service was good. Food was so/so. Overpriced for quality. Cocktail was awesome!

Food was cold for me and my wife. Although we did go near closing time the chicken was dry and her rice and shrimp was ice cold.
It was ok, the server was a little pushy on his upselling.
Not up to the usual Del Frisco experience. I contacted them directly to let them know our server was fabulous but the food was terrible. The Manager responded to my email, intimated he would call but did not. They were also out of Chardonnay. My chicken came with Chimmicurri sauce, but it just oil and capers and was tipped over the entire dish including the mash potatoes. No herbs. Salmon was excellent.
A very disappointing meal at Del Frisco’s for Christmas Eve Dinner. First, it was very cold in the restaurant. I am quite hot-natured, but this was extremely cold. We kept our jackets on. Drinks took a long time. When ordering, we were informed that they were out of the shrimp cocktail app and branzino entree. We hastily picked something else. 10 min AFTER ordering, we were told that they were out of chopped steak so my Father-in-law had to order another entree. Why weren’t we informed they were out of items BEFORE ordering? My Father-in-law’s entree arrived 10 min after everyone else’s. The sides arrived 5 minutes after the entrees. Had to ask for silverware! Pretty shocking, because other Del Frisco’s locations are quite good and this location was good before. We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas Eve church service and ended the evening with the worst meal I’ve had in ATL in 20 years. Too bad.

I really wanted to Like Del Frisco, but everything just seem to go wrong from the beginning. We had a reservation and had to wait for a little bit because they were clearly understaffed and the waiters and waitresses were running back-and-forth. We finally got to order drinks and some appetizers and it took a little while but they came out and they tried to compensate by giving us free drinks also. When our entrées came out my sisters food was very cold to the touch and I had a hair in it. They try to get us to get something else but it just seem like they were having an off night so we were ready to go. For this to be kind of upscaleThey really dropped the ball and I doubt I will ever come back
They weren’t ready at our reservation time and Bar was waaaay behind.

Wonderful as always! We have never had any complaints. The food and service is superb.
Very slow service, never had a waiter, just random people kept showing up. Broccoli was undercooked, steak was lukewarm and did not have much flavor. Restaurant was very cold inside.
The food was good and the service was as well. However, it was tad bit chilly in the restaurant.

The meals were delicious. The salmon was a bit small but otherwise no complaints.
We’ve been coming here for years but have noticed a steady decline in the overall experience over the last 2 years; so this can’t be blamed on COVID.
There is no longer the same ambience. The food presentation is weak either the result of cost cutting or a change in the head chef. Whatever the reason it pales in comparison to what it was in the past. For example, the $29 rack of ribs with Pom frites arrives with the ribs laying across a plate with no garnishment of any kind, and what had been steak fries, are now a plate of McDonalds fries. I could have received a similar presentation at the take out rib shak.
Our waiter was a nice man and none of this is a reflection on him. In fact, we tipped him handsomely.

Due to social distancing restrictions, only the top dining area was available. This made my dinner more intimate and I enjoyed it so much more!
Delfrisco's is a nice restaurant. The food however is mediocre I can frequent a cheaper restaurant and get the same meal and it taste better for over half the price we paid there
We’ve been coming to Del Frisco’s for thanksgiving dinner for a few years now but this may be our last.
First, I’ve always had an issue with how cold and detached the hosts are. They barely say hello and they always make you feel like they are doing you a favor.
Tonight we were sat down but not given any menus. Our server came by the table 10-15 minutes later and dropped off a drink menu and said I’ll be right back. Another 15 minutes passed, and the restaurant was not all that busy really, and the server came back to take our drink orders. No suggestions, no water offered, nothing from the server. Another 10 minutes and I stopped her to ask for a menu and was told they should have given us a card with the code to view the menu on our phones. Go back to how unfriendly the hostesses are.
Our drinks came and we ordered an appetizer, the deviled eggs, which came out quickly and was delicious.
At this point we’d need there for close to 40 minutes and had still not placed an order for dinner. I stopped the server as she was walking by and placed our order. The thanksgiving pre-fixe is what we all ordered, with different choices of sides to accompany the turkey. The first course of the pre-fixe was supposed to be a butternut squash bisque, but instead w for the second course first, without the sides. Had to ask the person delivering the food about the bisque and he said he’d take a look. The server came by to say that they ran out and had to make another batch, or something like that. In that case, why not let us know or wait the extra 5 minutes for the food to be prepared? In any case, we got our first course while enjoying the second, but still no sides. Another food runner came by with 2 or the 3 sides and laughed when I asked about the missing item and said she’d look. We were well into the meal before the last side item came out. Overall, the food was ok but the service was just bad.
It was awesome and amazing
Ambiance was a little off, the flatbread tasted like a Chuckie cheese pizza, steak and truffle Mac and cheese were good but not worth the price. Seemed a little over hyped.
Worst quality steak I’ve ever eaten. Shockingly bad meat.
