Devil's Acre Tavern
Food was good service slow. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other at all.
This was our first time to the tavern. The inside of the restaurant is done up pretty cool there were six of us three of us got the scallops and did not care for them at all very spicy and served on cold squash? +3 scallops for $28 is something I would expect from a little fancier of a restaurant. Will definitely go back and try something different
Excellent Brunch! Excellent service. One of our favorite places to eat in Bucks County.
Always great food and service and a good selection of beers!
Had an excellent experience at Devil's Acre! Food and service were perfect. I would like to recognize the hostess who seated us. I wish I remembered her name. She was very friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived 45 minutes early for our reservation and it was very crowded she was able to move other reservations around and were seated within 5 minutes! She could have easily said sorry you are too early but she went out of her way to get us seated quickly and that was very much appreciated!! The scallops were amazing! We will be back and recommend our friends!
Great place. Quite a variety on the menu. Wings, links and burgers are awesome.
Best German food in the area. Highly recommend to all
Everything is delicious and the staff are fantastic!
Great food and service. We will return.
This was our first time on a Sunday night at Devil's acre. Normally we go on Friday or Saturday night. I was so happy to see families with smaller children. This is one of the things I love about it... anyone can find something they like! The food is outstanding!
Food was fantastic, people were friendly and accommodating. Food came out fast even with a packed house. We'll be back for sure.
Appetizers were outstanding we had pretzels bites and deviled eggs. Chicken schnitzel lacked flavor but was moist. Sweet potato fries were really good. When ordering apps I’d advise ordering doubles they are smaller portions and being so good they go fast.
Food is delicious and service is friendly. Good place for a date night or family outing. A little noisy with the bar but that's not a baf thing when you have a noisy 4 year old with you :)
Great Service! Great Food! Always a good time.
This is probably my sixth or seventh time eating at Devils Acre since it’s opening. The woman handling our reservation kept trying to seat us with other parties that were coming behind us even though we told her our reservation was for a party of 2. We were then seated a small table in the middle of the room and offered a high chair for my child to be strapped to. Due to the location of the table having the child strapped to the high chair would put the baby at high risk of getting knocked over by the waitstaff and/or others trying to get by the table. We asked to be moved to another table and was told it should be fine due to no other reservations at the time. Our food was okay, only complaint was the one sandwich was served cold and well done even though it was ordered to be medium.
Dinner for six on a Saturday night.... Overall we largely enjoyed the food but whoever was running the pass tonight failed in a big way. We were seated promptly and beverages arrived quickly, but then our waitress disappeared while we waited about twenty minutes for appetizers to arrive. Waitstaff forgot one appetizer and brought the wrong dressing for another. The entrees arrived three minutes later. Three of us had burgers and they were prepared well, and my wife really enjoyed her lentil and sweet potato stew. But my potatoes were cold and my brother’s schnitzel and pierogis were burned. The forgotten appetizer came only after we prompted them, and then that arrived cold. So they got us another one and that was cold too, so we told them just to forget it at that point. They comped us a dessert, which was tasty. Total check with tax and tip was $170.
In the end the food was probably worth another visit, but they really will need to up their game for a full recommendation.
Never been here before hut had heard good reviews. Excellent app and entree choices, concise menu. Great mixed dink options as well as beer selections. Will be back.
it was noisy when we arrived but did quiet down as the evening progressed. Loved our food.
Great cocktails and always a good meal
Brunch for Football Sunday
Service was great. Food was amazing. Very creative but not austere. Good for families too
Great restaurant and great vibe!! We love it. Everything is wonderful. The other restaurants are great!
Great food! Great atmosphere! We always enjoy eating here. My only comment would be to pay attention to reservations. I wrote in the notes that this reservation was for a birthday, but they didn't do anything for it when we were there.
Great food, great drink and beer selection, and wonderful service. Always a good time.
Made reservations and were seated promptly. Enjoyed the service and food was great! Recommend highly.
Food was yummy. Meals came at different times and there was a pretty big wait for one person’s meal without acknowledgement which was a bit of a service miss, but otherwise good meal.
Great beers and comfort food. Not only German style food, but other comfort food. Great for a fall or winter lunch or dinner.
The Rueben sandwich was good. The short rib goulash also tasty
I love the fresh, delicious food at Devil’s Acre. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. We had a great time. Worth the price.
Servers and bartenders are outstanding and so is the food.
Service (6pm Monday evening), table and kitchen, was slow. Offerings for children was fair. We decided it's not a place to take the family.
Great food and service!
Food was awesome! Always something unique and flavorful to try.
An awesome local spot that ALWAYS delivers great food and superb service. One of our all time favorite places to eat.
German beer selection was awesome. We enjoyed the many choices on the menu and felt that the service was just right. We will return
I have to go at least every couple of months for the kibolsa dip. Chicken kale Ceasar was great and Beef on a Weck is always great. Perogies were average at best tonight but overall always a great experience.
I love the food here. We were a party of 8 and one couple asked for their own bill the rest of us split the other. There were a few items on both bills which was a little annoying. I’m sure it was an accident ...... but we will definitely go back.
We absolutely love it we have been multiple times and never been disappointed ❤️
Pretty good food, nice booze and beer selection. The service was great.
Although the food and service were good, we couldn’t wait to finish eating to leave because of two things: the noise level was unbearable to the point we had difficulty hearing each other; secondly, the temperature was like a meat locker. Extremely uncomfortable. I would go back for the interesting menu and tasty food but will bring a sweater and go during the week rather than the weekend in the hopes there’s a more pleasant noise level.
