You can always count on good food and service. The ambiance and experience is one of the best in Hamilton.
We’ve eaten at Diamonds since they were in Trenton. Food is good and the new venue is very nice. However, this night we arrived a little early for our reservation and there were many open tables. We were seated at the only table with no silverware and our table light was never lit, I had to exchange it for one from a nearby table. Our waiter took our drink order, and a minute later a waitress came by to introduce herself and asked again for our drink order. Later in the evening it became obvious that she had lost another table’s credit card. I ordered a caprese salad and asked for the remainder to be boxed. I never received it. I realize that wait staff needs some training time, but Saturday night is not when that should take place. Also, the website said no events were planned, but it turned out there was a wedding reception that night and the noise from the band was rather loud. All taken, dining was not pleasant .
Excellent food and service. Was a wonderful dining experience
Always a good experience! Food delicious and nice size portions. Had the crab cluster appetizer yum! Lobster ravioli was fantastic! Husband enjoyed his veal. Desserts delicious too!
I believe they are changing owners. No Marsala wine in my veal Marsala. Service was great but looks like ownership has changed
The best menu for variety of very good entrees and appetizers. Also a nice cocktail variety
Very hard to find; not classy at all in signage; very expensive for a diner looking menu. Could not use a $100 gift card for Pennington; was told it is worthless. Bar in front looks like a caterer instead of a upscale restaurant.
Food and drinks were outstanding. Waiter, Michael, was outstanding and service was impeccable.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. The DJ on Friday is awesome!
We had another great dinner experience at Diamonds. We were celebrating a birthday & the staff was helpful, friendly & attentive. The food was delicious!
Great food! Good workers! Good music!
Always have a good time when were there with friends.
My mother in law was in town to celebrate her birthday and of course she requested to dine at her favorite restaurant “Diamonds”
The Lobster & Steaks were delicious
Second time at Diamonds. Made the mistake of getting the special without asking about the price. Ordered the crab cake, not lump, but full of crab. Was not worth the $50 price tag. Should have at least come with a salad. Lobster ravioli s also good, but $50 also. Good chicken parm. Good drinks. Will return, but will be more careful.
Good food. Service was acceptable
Fathers' Day...2 Dads and dates...veal Marsala, soft shell crabs Francese, beef Wellington, tomahawk steak...DEVOURED! Great menu, excellent service, skilled food,
Diamonds always delivers. Xox
Food was spectacular; service was impeccable; music was TOO loud for dinner! we've been patrons of Diamonds since they opened in the Burg and their new venue retains the same qualities regarding service and food, but the loud music was a bit tedious.
Very good food!
I have been frequently to going to Diamonds over the years with my husband. Our favorite place. This is this is the 1st time I have been to this location in Hamilton NJ. My dining experience with a friend was wonderful. I can not say enough! Who needs New York or Philadelphia when you have Diamonds!
Food was good, not as good as I had at the Pennington location. Sausage bread was the best. Meatball appetizer was also good. It is more of a catering hall and doesn't have much atmosphere. Music was loud.
Great food and service. Food/appetizer delivery was timed right. We had a great time
Service was horrible. Waitress was pouring wine turned her head away and poured wine on the table. Orders were incorrect and hard to locate staff.
Expected the wait staff to review each order prior to bringing them to the table. In turn they blamed the kitchen.
First time, Food was good, something definitely has to be done in regards to the event in the other room. Could not hear the singer at all just a lot of bass from music next door, but main complaint was the bill, I talked my friend into going back because he told me he had a bad experience with the bill, he was charged for drinks he didn’t order, they apologized and drinks were taken off. So this time we get the bill and there are two salads we didn’t order. Told waiter about it and he fixed it, don’t think it’s a coincidence, will not be returning and must warn costumers to check your bill.
We were very happy with our dinner at Diamonds. The singer was on the loud side.
Mother’s Day Brunch with our party of 11 people was delicious, service was great, variety of foods available, everyone enjoyed it.
The food, atmosphere and entertainment are always topnotch. It is truly a dining experience where yo are expected to say a bit and enjoy the food and your dining partner(s) company.
This restaurant is a 10. Great food, service and ambiance.
Told server to apply $100 gift card toward MY portion of bill (Bill was being divided three ways). He took the $100 off everyone’s share so I lost out. Family celebratory dinner so I didn’t make a fuss.
We love Diamond's. We've followed them from location to location. The food is excellent, the cocktails generous, and the service is attentive. Anthony and Tommy have kept the menu interesting without sacrificing quality and keeping some of our favorites available. Highly recommend Diamond's.
Awesome service and great food. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Wonderful food and service. We always enjoy our evening weather we are dinning at a table or the bar.
We love this place! The food is authentic Italian cuisine, cooked with pride and it is obvious that all FRESH ingredients are used. The owner is usually on the premises 99.9% of the time and greets you with a smile. On Sunday, they have an AMAZING addition to your table. I call it a "Sunday Gravy Meat Plate"... it consists of pork, braciole, a meatball and sausage - large enough to share or even as a meal. I could eat it every day! The gravy was like grandmom's from back in the day. Dinners are cooked to order and are flavor explosions in your mouth. You want to savor every bite! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Oh, their appetizers are equally as amazing. I've never had anything here that I did not love.
We are fans of the former Kent Street location. My biggest complaint is that the Italian salad dressing tasted like bottled. However, our entrees of Veal Marsala and Filet Oscar were excellent.
Old school NJ dining experience. They try really hard to make it a great experience. Very welcoming and the service was good. The lounge singer thing was just bizarre especially because it was a twenty something singer; she stuck to old tunes and had a sixty something lounge singer schtick. Just weird but if the food hit the mark, you could chalk that up to an unapologetically NJ experience. Sadly, the food was just not good. We went with waters recommendations. The Pork how can you take two beautiful things like pork tenderloin and figs and make them suffer in a pool of sauce that tasted more like maple syrup than brown butter. Back to the drawing board on that one. Let the ingredients shine...the calamari were acceptable (and needed to get that sauce taste to go away). As for the mains, I wish we stick to steak (as I hear the steak is good) but we had spaghetti with clams and a chicken dish with asparagus and what was supposed to be a white wine cream sauce. First, the spaghetti and clams was good. The real clams were bolstered by chopped clams but the flavors were very good. The chicken and asparagus (like the pork appetizer) was soaking in so much cream sauce, I had to let it drip off. Sadly, the sauce was bland and desperately needed seasoning and totally takes away from the dish. This place has great potential but in the kitchen I’d make some adjustments to simplify dishes by making better (and less sauces) and letting ingredients and dishes that are good combinations come through without killing them with both overpowering or bland and too much sauces. A little refresher at cooking school is in order.
Delicious food! Great service! We will definitely return!
Wonderful ambience, food and service. Hidden gem.
Great food, and wonderful live music. Michael, our server was a delight!
Good drinks and really good food. Pleasant atmosphere and good service.
Our waiter was outstanding and the food was delicious!
Noisy. Food was adequate, but over priced in my
Opinion. Service was slow for our table. Waited too long for drinks and then for each course. Waiter disappeared for lengths of time.
