Dim Sum Library, is a refreshing evolution of the time-honoured Cantonese tradition - offering a selection of delicious dim sum prepared with new ingredients, textures, flavours and presentation, served all day in an elegant Hong Kong tea room.

These tasty new creations include "Black Truffle Har Gau", "Dan Dan Xiaolong Bao", "Black Pepper Wagyu Beef in Millefeuille pastry", "Cheung Fan with Squid Mousse and Crispy Tofu"and" Hokkaido King Crab and Sea Urchin Spring Roll" are among the delectable dim sum dishes on offer.

Unlike traditional dim sum restaurant, Dim Sum Library is fronted by a stunning Chinoiserie cocktail bar, guests can enjoy a full selection of classic cocktails, wines and spirits as well as bespoke Chinese tea cocktails. For those who enjoy a game of Mahjong in the afternoon, the tables at Dim Sum Library’s Mahjong Parlour, discretely concealed at the rear of the restaurant, are a perfect place to play.

The restaurant is 4000 sq ft with the capacity of 123 seated, and 15 bar stools - perfect for any private or public event. With our fabulous Chinese chefs in the kitchen and a full-service bar, menus can be tailored and matched to provide a uniquely memorable experience for your guests. The team at Dim Sum Library have a wealth of event management experience and are happy to provide Audio Visual/Technical setup/ Stage Production and Entertainment options for our private room and the entire venue in consultation with our guests. The Mahjong Parlour can be used as a private dining room for parties of up to 40. With three tables which can transform into Mahjong tables for cocktails and dim sum over an afternoon game.

店の雰囲気、テーブルセッティングなどもオシャレでした。お料理も創作飲茶が見た目にも舌にも最高です！特にお豆腐とは思えないお豆腐の料理が美味しかったです。和牛のサクサク衣包みや黒トリュフの飲茶も最高です！

モダンかつカジュアルな雰囲気で創作飲茶を楽しめます。味よりもビジュアル重視かしらと思いきや、揚げ物などは食感・味付け共に素晴らしかったです。水曜夜に予約して入店しました。入口付近の2人席には空席がありましたが、奥のエリアは観光客グループや職場の同僚グループ等で入れ替わり賑わっていました。コスパがいいとは言えませんが、店内の雰囲気や料理の独創性にデザイン料を払うと思えば法外ではありません。

Think service was so so I remember instances where servers would be bringing out dishes as if we were in a cha chan teng Value / price of the tasting menu was a bit meh, id rather be charged more and be more full than having so little. Ambiance was nice tho

To improve a bit the ambience feeling, I would recommend to fix the tables as they tend to be quite wobbly and use a table cloth to make it a bit more premium.

Table was tiny for the amount of food we ordered. Given the size of the table they should at least space out when the food is being served. There is a 1.5 hour limit to dine but there is really no need for the food to come all at once it felt rushed and unpleasant. We much prefer dining at the elements outlet but sadly that has closed. As much as w enjoy the food we wouldn’t be coming back again. There are other options available perhaps Chinese library or Duddell for similar innovative dim sum.

Nice menu, good location but staff in a hurry to leave as kitchen closes at 9 pm. As a result, they start chasing you to place any dessert order by 8.30 pm and want you to go by 9 pm.

Being vegan, I had eaten here before and asked for a dish I had previously eaten but this time, they refused to bother making it. The tone of the waiter was shocking. I was truly disappointed that my family and I left and dined elsewhere with much better food choices and service.

Food is always outstanding. The tofu panna cotta needs to be tried to be believed. It's always a joy to go to and a no brainer for my partner's first day out of quarantine. Lobster bao is great though it does suffer from DSL's usual problems with bao dim sum, mainly the large amount of bun to filling. For the lobster it wasn't as bad as the mushroom bao; I think the cinching helped in this regard.

The service was quite terrible - the waitress was quite rude. We had to ask to be served… mind as well be self serve. We were also kicked out at 2:30pm, no one had told us the area we were sitting was only available till 2:30 and we had to abruptly end our conversation. They could have offered us a table to continue… was very hostile. The food was great but I would have to reconsidering given the service.

Food portion is small and are over priced. The fusion dim sum is not that attractive. What impressed me most are the black truffle shrimp dumpling and the black garlic Siu Mai. Dan Dan noodle also tasted good.

Wagyu beef puff was overpowered by the pepper with little taste of the beef; the ginger lobster bun was overpowered by the ginger and spring opinion with little taste of the lobster. The tea was rather bland. Overall not up to standard for a dim sum place.

Good food as always but serving sequence was haphazard as the main course has arrived first and the dim sum came much later. It was only half full and a busy kitchen is a good kitchen; given less demand, it appears the kitchen service was sloppy although the waiting staff were good and friendly as always.

Loved the crispy aubergine! The other food was also good though not particularly memorable. Glad that there were not too many people on a Saturday night so we could stay as long as we wanted just sipping tea.
