we do not know the reason that the dishes were not served in one hour.
Outstanding in every aspect...exquisitely Italian sans the piazza!
We have enjoyed monthly visits and plan to continue to return. We will miss the previous portion size on an order of fries--which are the best we have ever had.
Great brunch selection
Very courteous staff
Inside or outside dining
Repeat customers, but DiVino's fell short this visit. We always plan for a slow paced, relaxing brunch when dining at DiViino's, but this time service was not up to par and the food took much longer than usual.
Wonderful overall dining experience, starting with our greeting at the door.
Excellent decor. Everything was top notch and professional.
The food was delicious. Great attention by servers and management.
We couldn’t have had a better evening.
Thanks to all for a special night.
We always love eating here. Authentic Italian food. Delicious. We where welcomed and well taken care of. Yes we will go back.
DiVino is a neighborhood gem. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff try to get to know you and remember your likes and dislikes. The food is authentic Italian with just enough nuance to make it interesting every time you go. The specials this evening included a generous portion of Grilled "Tagliata" Steak. It was absolutely fabulous. We also dined on the house special risotto which was also wonderful. We ended the meal with huge cups of cappuccino served with foam designs unique to the restaurant. Our coffees were accompanied by a wonderful dessert consisting of strawberries topped by homemade whipped cream. A treat that is not to be missed! All in all, DiVino is a wonderful restaurant that would be a great addition to any city large or small. We are just lucky to have this wonderful establishment in North Augusta.
This is my second time visiting and I enjoyed it even more. Top-notch food and service, DiVino’s is definitely my favorite italian in town and the neighborhood is simply beautiful. I can’t wait to sit outside during summertime.
The steak tagliata was outstanding, large portions and a lot of options. Very nice restaurant for either a special occasion, business meal or just an evening out for some great food. Manager was very passionate about wine and had us try different wines with my friend. Food was fantastic, I’m a regular at italian restaurants and this is an excellent one.
First time in this little restaurant and had an amazing experience.
I’ve travelled a couple times to Italy and this is the closest authentic Italian that you can get in Augusta.
Everything was fresh and tasty and service staff was very attentive.
We will definitely recommend this place.
Our first dining experience here was great! The hostess and wait staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My son had the shrimp appetizer and I had a bowl of the veggie soup. For entrees we had the prime beef special, chicken and my little had spaghetti with grilled chicken added. I was treated to a birthday dessert! I chose the cheesecake. All of the food was beautifully plated and tasted wonderful! The wait time for food is a little longer than some people may like but it is worth it! The staff kept our table cleared of empty dishes and our drinks filled! We will be going back!
We had dinner on St. Valentines and it was amazing! The restaurant was packed and we still got amazing service and amazing food in a very reasonable amount of time for how busy they were. We were there shy of two hours and got our appetisers, main and dessert within that time frame without compromising the quality of the food. Needless to say the food was absolutely delicious and once again we were not disappointed.
Our Valentines day dinner experience was amazing. The atmosphere and food was excellent, as well as the service. The Management was very attentive to our dining experience ensuring we were taken care of. We would recommend this place for any occasion.
The food was ok but service was extremely slow. Do not plan on going back
Valentine’s Day at one of our favorite local spots was a disaster! They went for the money grab and tried to pack the place completely unprepared. We left after 2+ hours without entrees served. Never again!
Waited 2 hrs for our meal. Regular chef quit a few days prior. Singer was so loud you could barely carry on a conversation. People walked out before they got their meals. Did not even offer to comp anything or offer a drink. Very disappointing Valentine’s Day meal.
Dear Robert, we apologize for your experience in our establishment. We take your opinion seriously and will share your review with our staff. Please note that Chef Leonardo is still working with us since we open in 2016 and is not planning on going anywhere :-) We hope you will come back to visit us soon. Sincerely, Divino
The table was in a quiet nook, and we felt very comfortable. The server was extremely helpful, and ably assisted us with our wine selection, and it was a hit. We had the ravioli topped with crabmeat and the clam linguine which were both superb. We will be returning soon. Every person there made us feel welcome. It was a perfect evening.
My Birthday! Wait staff very attentive. Meal was wonderful. Then we walked across the street for dessert.
We visit DiVino Ristorante on a regular basis. We are regulars because of the attentive service and authentic Italian cuisine. On our most recent visit we ordered the lasagna (consistently outstanding) and one of the specials, Chef's Risotto (very creamy with Italian sausage and mushrooms). Wow, such good food and ample portions. But it is not just the excellent food that made for a great night. Our waiter was attentive and informative. She made great recommendations and treated us as valued guests. An added bonus, the manager checked on us a few times, also making us feel valued. What a wonderful romantic dinner for my wife and me! Looking forward to our next visit!!
Not extremely busy.
Young energetic staff serving, what lacked in experience made up in enthusiasm .
Great daily special.
Steak slightly undercooked
Helpful staff needs more training.
Fun venue. Friendly neighborhood vibe.
Pasta is very rich, but also very tasty!
I enjoy the outdoor seating and the food is always good and the drinks as well. The service is also good.
its quaint and tucked in a really cool neighborhood that sits on the river, a short walk after lunch or dinner and you have the quiet savannah to take a stroll on.
Felt like we were sitting in a noisy cafeteria with table and chairs that belong in a cafeteria. Food was nothing special but prices indicated it should be. Wait staff seemed unsure of themselves, poorly trained.
Dear guest, we are sorry to read about your experience in our restaurant. We will share your concerns with our staff and we hope you will give us a second chance. Sincerely, DiVino Ristorante Italiano
This was a disappointment. The only thing I really loved about this restaurant was the location and the sleek, comfortable ambiance. I was expecting a lot more from the food given that the restaurant owners came to the US from Italy just a few years ago. We got the prosciutto with mozzarella and artichokes for an appetizer. The whole dish was a bit uninspired, the artichokes were stone cold and tasted like they came right out of a can, and the mozzarella tasted just like something you'd get from the grocery store. I'd expect more national pride from a couple of Italians--why not import your cheese, or make it in house? Our entrees (seafood risotto and four-cheese ravioli with arugula pesto) were significantly better quality, but nothing I couldn't make myself at home on a Friday night. The service was definitely sub-par. I'm always willing to make allowances for servers, in case they're just beginning, but our server seemed completely unenthusiastic, which made it hard to get excited about our meal. When she cleared our appetizer plates she put our dirty knives back on the table instead of bringing us clean knives for our entrees. Perhaps this is the way she's been trained, but that is poor standard of service for any restaurant. We won't be going back. Try Cucina 503 in Evans for superb Italian food and excellent service!
Dear Rebekah, Thank you for taking time to give us your opinion on our establishment. We appreciate your comments and we will share them with our staff. We hope you will give us a second chance so we can show you we can do better. Sincerely, Divino Ristorante Italiano
Normal brunch food prepared with a flare. Well seasoned, attractive plate. Attentive to food allergies. One of best brunches in Augusta. Sure do wish they'd open for lunch other days. They were excellent when they did.
DiVino is our favorite restaurant, we love it. The service, friendliness, great food, awesome service and the atmosphere is the best. The best a Restaurant in the CSRA, 👍 👏
This would have been a 5 star rating except for two issues: 1. The restaurant had only been open for one hour and they were out of the Ravoli special. It did not appear to be crowded. 2. They were also out of spinach for the spinach salad. Enough said. On to the good news...Service was excellent. Just the right amount of attention. Food was amazing. I had the Chef's Risotto which was outstanding. My spouse had the Linguine with Vongole which was outstanding and our dining companions ate lighter enjoying the soup and salad. We topped off dinner with the Molten Chocolate cake which is to die for! I added the vanilla ice cream and my spouse and our dinner companions added the special custard of the night. Noise level caused by the "not so background" music was a bit much for us, but that is a matter of personal taste and did not affect my rating. We loved it and will be back...hopefully, they will have all menu items next time!
I hosted a brunch for 6 members of my ladies book club on Sunday. We are seniors. The restaurant was really vibrant and had a festive atmosphere. There were quite a few small children running around and a bit loud but we were comfortable. Two of the ladies had shrimp and grits which were VERY well reviewed by both! The salmon burger was also a hit. The zucchini omelet was very flat but seemed healthy and the bacon was perfectly crispy. Our server was very cheerful and nice.
We had brunch and it was spot-on. The server, Madi, was awesome! Lovely ambiance in a great location. Highly recommend!
Excellent and exceptional service. 12 oz. Steak was superb with rosemary potatoes. Italian margarita and cheesecake just scrumptious
Food was outstanding, service was good and provided good knowledge for wine recommendations.
Not what we expected but we seemed to be in the overflow dining room.
Dear Kasey, we’re sorry that you were not satisfied with your experience at DiVino. We do have another room where the bar is, you can ask to be seated there when booking on OpenTable and we will be more than happy to accomodate your request. We value your business and we hope you will come back to visit us. Sincerely, DiVino Ristorante Italiano
Made reservations because of referrals for great Italian food. Got there and a menu of 3 main courses was handed to me. Had my hopes up for Italian. The other couple came to join us and was very disappointed. Don’t understand why a great Italian restaurant would serve fish steaks and chops. The kicker was it was around $90 a person. Complete rip off. I hope that this comment will get back to the owner and he adjusts his menu. Not happy. 4 people $414.00 and no tea to drink during dinner! Wow!!!
Dear Kim, We are sorry for the misunderstanding but we did serve a special menu for NYE ($79.95 Prosecco included). OpenTable specified with a mess. at time of booking that we were not serving our regular menu that night and our hostess confirmed by phone with each guest. Our servers also informed our guests that if you weren’t satisfied with these choices you could order pasta, as well as tea that was available that evening. We hope you will come back on a regular day to try our menu. Sincerely
Attended for a special menu event for NYE. Food was good but we may have to go back to determine food to value.
We had a great dinner and experience at
Divino’s. Service was on point. Food was prepared and present very tasteful. The ambiance is sexy and in a cool neighborhood setting. Bon appetit!
They have the best gluten free pasta and can accommodate my dairy allergy as well.
Wonderful, creative cuisine with gluten-free options (thank you!). Lovely setting and excellent service.
Live this place! We come when we are in town, about once a month. We especially like that the dishes we have past enjoyed taste just as we remembered when we come again. Reliable chef influences is a dedication that is hard to find.
