We were in town for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary and the manager was so kind to us. He even seated us in our own private corner. The food was delicious too! The cheese curds were my favorite!

We flew in from Roswell, NM and had arrived an hour early. They moved are reservations with ease and were very welcoming. I can’t remember our waiters name but he was very knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations which did not disappoint at all. The Black n Blue burger was DELICIOUS. Definitely a place to come back to and reached out to everyone on my social media to give them a try whenever they are in town.

Bummed they got rid of my favorite Portobello burger but the mushroom Swiss was a good substitute. I remember the fries crisper. These were a little limp for my liking. Chocolate peanut butter pretzel shake was on spot! Already craving another. Music was crap rap and swearing (had 2 kids with us) and loud. Not my thing at all and if wasnt meeting people likely would have just gotten take out from that alone. Keegan, our server, was on point! Very nice and accommodating.

The food was delicious but because it was so greasy, I paid for it later. I was a little disappointed that the only ambience was a loud football game. The football game didn't seem to match the vibe of the restaurant's look. I didnt realize when I booked it that was a sports bar. The waitress was super friendly though and I felt safe eating there (in spite of the pandemic)

The mushroom Swiss burger was amazing! And the fried pickles to die for..... It was a little loud in there, hard to have a conversation with my daughter. We will definitely be back!

Took my family to celebrate my daughter’s first job. Food was great. Waitress was not overly friendly. Made mention of our special occasion in my Open Table reservation but apparently they were not aware.

An excellent covid friendly place to eat lunch indoors during a pandemic. Accommodating and friendly staff happy to make meal ahead of time (in only 10/15 minutes) for those with a short lunch break. Definitely will dine again!

Having never been to Delux, I went with a few friends for brunch on a Saturday morning. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we were all so impressed with the outdoor seating- which is always a positive with everything COVID-related. The cheese curds are easily the best ones we've ever had and the waitstaff was friendly. Cannot recommend enough for quality breakfast by the capital.

The food was excellent! However, we came for the bottomless Mimosas on a Sunday, even said to our server that we were there for bottomless Mimosas. Then when the bill came we found out that they were no longer bottomless. I understand that with COVID they now aren't doing that special but our server should have told us at the beginning of the meal not after we had already ordered several.

Terrible service and not so hot appetizers. Waited 35min to be greeted. Burgers were great though and will Probably try it again for the shakes. Didn’t order because we figured it would take another hour!

Food quality not as good as in the past

We've always been a fan of Dlux, and with COVID, it's hard to decide where to risk going. We decided to go here because of all of our previous good experiences. The dining room was very quiet. Only seating a few tables so we were nowhere near other diners. Outside seemed crowded though. It took quite awhile before a server greeted us, but once he did, he was prompt with his returns. The only disappointing this in this visit is that they were out of quite a few things. First two beers I ordered they were out of. The cocktail my husband ordered they were out of. One of the appetizers we tried to order, they were out of. We still had a good meal and a nice time, but it was frustrating to have to have our server come to us multiple times to tell us they were out of something we ordered.

My first choice (Portobello "burger") and second choice (white bean "burger") not available. Only option, the g*dawful, unhealthy Impossible burger. Okay, I'm glad they had a veg option, but, as I say, third choice. No paper menus; I get it, but this assumes I have a cell phone and want to use it and can use it; bad assumption when I have a work (-only) cell phone. Still service was fine - they got me a paper menu - and the Impossible burger was, as presented, above average.

Note: restaurants should not have to cater to vegetarians and vegans unless they want, so the bummer here was just the out-of-stock items.

Burgers are delicious. Good cheese curds. Comfortable outdoor seating.

Bring your own hand sanitizer.

I like the outdoors since I have my dog with me and they were nice enough to offer water to him.

My only complaint was that our waitress rarely checked on us. When she came to refill our waters, she didn’t speak to us, or ask if we needed anything. Checked on us once. I understand if she was busy, but it didn’t seem like she had any other tables at the time. Additionally, I asked for my burger to be without onions and with the sauce on the side and both were on the burger. Of course, that’s not the waitresses fault, but would’ve nice if chefs could check the customizations.

We found parking right away; a plus in downtown Madison. Our server was great. Staff was very friendly. Spacious comfortable seating. Our food was delicious. I had one of the chicken burgers and I will definetly order one again.

Our entire group loved our burgers and we were really happy with our cocktails. Not sure about the normal ambience since we were on the street due to COVID but service and food were great.

We enjoyed a delicious meal. Outside dining was very nice with a beautiful view of the Capitol. COVID-19 protocol was excellent as was our server.

I usually love dlux but my god the service was so slow. We sat there for 20 minutes before someone even took our drink order. They forget about our drinks (and us) for another 20 minutes. We were there for a solid 2 hours before we even got our food. Some of our orders were slightly wrong and when we brought it up to the manager, he treated us as if it were our faults. Our checks were also wrong but at that point we had been there for over two hours and just wanted to leave.

Only one wait staff, hostess did not help the line waitresss, slow service.

Anniversary

They do not have a brunch menu anymore, only found that out after sitting down and ordering drinks. They also do not do bottomless mimosa’s either. Finally got water refills after asking waitress 3 different times.

I went with a group of friends and we all had a great time. The cheese curds were amazing and so were the drinks.

Great food and staff. They really took some great COVID precautions.

Celebrated my husband's birthday by enjoying burgers on the DLUX patio. He enjoyed his complimentary milkshake too:)

Even though it was weird with the whole pandemic, the lunch was really good. I appreciated the contactless menu and service. The tables were also socially distanced. The food was still high quality. Definitely recommend.

The service was great. Love having the option to sit outside. Love the food!

54th Birthday celebration

Food is awesome. We reserved an outside table on line to beat Covid 19. Despite the rain, our covered table kept us dry and we really enjoyed our meal.
