I went with my partner and had a lovely time. Food was amazing and big portion sizes! Service was amazing and we felt very welcomed. Recommend trying the carbonara, polpetz on polenta chips (olive meat balls tasted great and not overpowering), parmigiana focaccia, and the chocolate mousse.

Such inventive plant based dishes with amazing flavour! Service was also super with the chef explaining some of his techniques. The atmosphere was great and parking not too much of a hassle as it’s located away from the busy centre of Newtown. We will be back for sure.

Exceptional as always. One of my three favourite restaurants in the world. The other two are Nomad in Stockholm and the Danish Club in Melbourne.

Don Fred is one of our favourite restaurants, we always bring our friends and family when they are visiting Sydney. Lorenzo’s service is amazing & the banquet is just delicious - also such great value!

I had a lovely dinner with my brother for our birthdays. The banquet was amazing - good sized portions of many of their dishes. We were really full by the end. Staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Thanks again for a wonderful meal. M
