We love Doolittle’s! Great food, friendly service, nice but casual and great music often!

We don't particularly care for the music because we can't talk to the people we are having dinner with. This time the music wasn't overly loud, but we still had trouble hearing each other. The place is too small for someone to be playing music or have them start at 8 or 9 pm instead of so early.

This was my first time eating here, and I really liked the food and atmosphere! I recommend Doolittle to other!

They no longer have the parmesan encrusted chicken pasta dish. It's been replaced with grilled chicken alfredo. While the pasta sauce was still the same the grilled chicken lacked seasoning and was dry. Also, the seared scallops had a good taste but the entire dish was warm at best. There was also no seasoning at all on the seasonal vegetables.

It's still worth a trip, as normally their food is much better than this.

I've had their Shepherd's pie before, tho not in several yrs. It was awfully bland &, among other spices, the potatoes sure could've used some salt

Had an amazing experience. On a first date (hopefully last first date 😊) with a beautiful lady. We had the sea bass and salmon fresh catch specials this past Friday night. Loved this place.

Music was so loud you could not talk while eating dinner. The steak was very bad No taste. The price for the quality was way to high. Problem will never go back.

We are like family a Doolittle’s but won’t go back when they have a musician. It’s too small and we all screamed the whole time. We brought 4 guests. Everyone’s food was greAt as it always is EXCEPT two of us got the seafood pasta special. It might just have been one of the worse meals I’ve ever had. Since I feel like family there I can tell them that it should never be added as a special again.
You’re still our favorite but the music is totally unnecessary. No more Friday nights for us.

Steak was over done. I asked for medium and it was very well done. Outside of that the flavors were great, and everything was very reasonably priced.

Great food great customer service very pleasant experience

Took my parents out for brunch for their anniversary. Doolittle's has something on the menu for everyone. We were all pleased with our meals.

First time visiting this restaurant, we were very pleased. Good food, reasonable prices, excellent service! Will definitely visit again.

My steak was utterly fantastic. The garlic mash was to die for, the asparagus was perfectly cooked still had a great crunch. Awesome texture, awesome server, awesome music. Doolittle's will definitely have more of my families business.

Great food and service in downtown Anderson.

This place was midway between us and friends so we decided to give it a try. With its excellent location on Main St., unique decor inside and a decent beer selection it seemed like the ideal place. Our reservation was for 6pm and my wife and friends made it on time. I however didnt arrive until 6:30 and noticed their appetizers only half eaten. One was some sort of fried green beans and the other I could not quite determine; they were not liked. Although there were only two other tables with patrons everyone from the 3 people at the hostess station seemed to be in a hurry. Since I was late and we were being rushed to order before even being able to say hello to each other we obliged and ordered right away. The beer I ordered was dropped off at the table as the waitress flew by and it slowly slid on its own from the unlevel table to the floor where it exploded and splashed beer all over our shoes. The staff was more concerned with cleaning up the mess than whether we ad been cut by glass or got our feet wet. They were fast at cleaning up though.

I ordered the Blue Mussels In House White Wine Sauce. Whomever in the kitchen prepared them, put them in a bowl to be sent out to a customer should have their apron taken from them and sent packing. These mussels were old, smelly and so dried out that they were not edible. Additionally, there wasn't a drop of any kind of white wine sauce. It must have evaporated while the dish was overcooked in the microwave. The shells of the mussels were broken and cracked making me wonder if they had been left over from the previous week as our visit was on Monday. Like the preparer, the server should be sent packing for even presenting such a horrible plate in front of one of her customers. My dinner became the side order or asparagus which consisted of four, yes 4, asparagus stalks.

I wouldn't recommend this place nor would I recommend this place. This is what happens when you have untrained people working. The 'Do'Little here.

Overall the food was good. I had the kale salad and the kale could have been crisper. Other than that really enjoyed the place. Excellent service from Anna!

The only issue I ever have with the place is the bathrooms. They are so dark and for me a food establishment should have a bright clean bathroom. If a restaurant can’t keep a clean bathroom that customers see how do u know if the kitchen is clean somewhere customers don’t see? I never what to use it because you can’t see if it’s clean or not because it’s so dark.

Delicious breakfast!!

So so good!! Service (thank you, Alice!) was great, food was exceptional! Hand cut fries and house made juice huge chicken fingers. I had the snapper special and it couldn’t have been better. Only wish we’d had room for dessert! We will be back soon and often!

The food and service was good. The music was awfully loud. In fact it was too loud to even visit over dinner. We had to yell at each other, I will not go back on a Friday night if they have music that loud.

We had a great time! The Pimento Cheese and Crab appetizer with pretzels for excellent! We had 6 different entrees, they were great. We will be back!!

The ap crab cake was very good but fried green bean with barbecue sauce does not work. I did the chicken stack it had the same bland barbecue sauce not one of the better choices. My wife had the shrimp and grits which was tasty. They also needed to work on wine service - if you order a bottle it should be opened at the table and presented to your guests and not service in bar pours without offering to sample it first. We will try again at a later date, hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen staff.

I love that food is unique. Special off menu items each day. Great traditional dishes.

The live music was to loud. Could not talk over it

One of our favorite spots in Anderson! The food and service are fantastic. The bartender is phenomenal and actually knows how to make classic cocktails beyond your standard spirit + mixer drinks. They also have a decent wine list. A great place for dinner with friends or a nice night out with your significant other.

We thoroughly enjoyed the quaint atmosphere at Dolittles. Music while dining was delightful and Molly, our server was super attentive. The menu was varied and our food was very good. This was our first time to visit, so we have found a new favorite place.

We met our kids there bc Anderson was a half way point and enjoyed a Father’s Day lunch meal. Our server was excellent and the food was great! We will definitely keep it in mind next time we are in Anderson!

The ambiance was perfect for a first date. The food is delicious...especially the seafood entrees. We had the grilled salmon and scallops. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant was highly recommended by several friends. Now, I am highly recommending Doolittle's to others.
