Downtowner Woodfire Grill has a very good breakfast menu. The quality of the food is outstanding. We do not hesitate to visit this restaurant, our friends are now regular clients.

I loved coming in on Saturday for lunch. It was very amazing service. I don’t recall our servers name but she was a gem. The food was top notch. Restaurant was amazing. I had the chicken tortellini with pesto sauce and it was a 10/10. Thank you all for the wonderful service !

Husband had filet and I had swordfish. Great martinis. Lots of space between tables- felt safe. Great service.

Had a great meal there on a quiet night. Seafood spaghetti was fabulous. it was 1/2 off bottled wine, so good value. Enjoy!

Great food, great atmosphere and close to home. We forgot how much we like this place.

Food was ok. Service was friendly, but not great. Ambience was a bit dark and old. Noise level was very low - not too many people in the place. Food was over-priced for the quality. My leg of lamb was 80% rice, 10% veggies and 10% lamb. My girlfriend linguini and clams were so rubbery and overcooked she couldn’t eat most of them.

Thanks to Tony for getting us close together. The staff did an excellent job serving us for our family birthday gathering. Thanks!

The downtowner is a perfect place for dinner. The food and wine and service and ambience were terrific.

Delicious meal. Drinks service was a bit slow, but there was a large group in their private room. Each person’s entree was cooked as requested and all were well seasoned. I am glad that I added a salad, which was delicious, because the vegetable side portion was tiny while the potato portion was enormous.

Excellent tasting food. The food was delicious and worth the price. Breakfast sides were a little overpriced but still tasty. Servers were top notch. Only real complaint was the lady in the table across from us wouldn’t stop talking politics while eating. Would return!!!

We enjoyed a great breakfast/brunch recently. Steak and eggs makes my husband very happy. And, at a reasonable price. It was our anniversary, and a stack of pancakes with blueberries and whip cream were delivered to our table. Yum! Very sweet of them to do that. We'll be back!

My first time here and will for sure be back. Had the beef kabobs and loved them. My wife had a very good steak that she chowed down. The house made bread was incredible as well was my Maker's Mark Old fashion. I recommend this place to all.

Thw Woodfire is one the few restaurants in town tha never disappoints. We enjoy their breakfast's as well as their dinners. WIshing them the best in these Covid Times!

Excellent for all reasons. I dine there about four times a month. I remember the Downtowner when it was called the "Local" or "Low Cal" by the regulars. It just keeps getting better as the years go by.

Great spot nice fire place in the center of the dining room, not loud very relaxing enviroment which always makes the experience with the food that much better. Food is great as well. I will be back when I am back in Saint Paul.

The worker was so nice. We enjoy our breakfast. The food was good and look beautiful. They even gave us a mini treat at the end because it was our 11th year Anniversary too. Very satisfying.

Went for breakfast. Service was outstanding. Ombiance perfect. Food was wonderful. I had meatless Cajun, friend had omelet. Only complaint is friend had 2 buttermilk pancakes on the side and it was close to $9.00 which we thought was pretty expensive.

Just a great place. The food is great, the people are nice and the ambiance top notch. I havent been there in a while. I forgot how great it was.

This was my first breakfast. My favorite place for dinner over the years. Now my favorite breakfast location!
The salmon scramble was excellent. Had to try the fruit crepe. They are to die for!
Each entree was shareable. Generous servings and each was so yummy!

Four of us went for brunch on a Sunday. It was close to closing so it was very quiet. But, we had a nice time, decent food and really great service.
