While we didn’t have any food (we chose to do a little hopping around) and only drinks, I would hands down come here again! The service and drinks were phenomenal and our bartender was incredibly personable.

Great place, really good vibe. (Give 5 stars on food, but did not eat) Did a lot of drinking :) and very space out and comfortable.

After basing our entire NYE around this, Tasting reservation option was not taken down for nye- so you were able to book it and not able to do it. There was a party instead - tickets were 175 a person. Gave us two drink tickets for two terrible drinks.
Rather disappointing NYE to say the least, the party was not very well thought out and at 175 a person it was not worth it. So much for supporting local business.

My sister & I went Saturday night! I just recently moved to Birmingham and I’ve been looking up bars to visit! I love DRD it’s amazing, sexy, fun & the customer service was OUTSTANDING we had Billy as our server and he was just so pleasant, knowledge, personable & was available to us throughout the night. I love this place!! I will definitely be a repeat visitor if DRD.

Loved being able to have our own space in the red room, very comfy and warm. Drinks are fabulous, great food. Wonderful service and we enjoyed the live music.

The food was OUTSTANDING, the service was exceptional, and the interior of this place was really cool. Sat at the bar and people watched while we tried different cocktails and beers and sampled the menu. Great place overall-HIGHLY recommend!

Very comfortable and relaxed lounge setting. The drinks were excellent, some interesting combinations with their house made selections. They food was extremely good, especially the egg rolls.

We were seated in a back room… With one other couple… Very private. There are lots of “nooks and crannies “throughout this spacer. Great drinks, of course that’s what they’re known for. However, the food was outstanding. Billy our server was great as well

The drinks were lovely -- I particularly enjoyed The Persistence of Memory, made with Dread River gin. It was soft and floral, not at all pine-y or tasting overwhelmingly of juniper. However, it was the food and ambiance that wowed us. We had three of the appetizers and we ordered seconds. Small menu, but what's there is killer. Our server, Billy, was friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel at home. The interior is gorgeous and the seating areas make for a nice socially-distanced evening!

We visited expecting some drinks and small plates - ended up having those and sharing a larger entree that was delicious. Service was fantastic and the ambiance was great!

I requested to be sat away from people as much as possible due to health concerns during Covid-19. This was the first restaurant I attempted to eat at during quarantine due to underlying health conditions. I wanted to celebrate with a few friends for my 30th birthday without fear of being surrounded by people. I was blown away at the cleanliness and generosity of the staff. They allowed us to use a private room and had one waiter enter it throughout the night. He maintained wearing his mask the entire time. He also offered exemplary service and humor. The food and drinks were exquisite. I am very appreciative of the work that went into making my birthday such an enjoyable experience.

Great evening with friends! The service was very friendly and helpful, although they were a little delayed in bringing entrees. The food was very good -- the table shared several appetizers and all were thoroughly enjoyed. Drinks were outstanding. Will definitely go back!

Fantastic experience at Dread River. The staff were all wearing proper protective coverings. Our party of six was placed in an area unto itself for safety. The food was delicious. We had two different food allergy issues to deal with and the chef came to our group to discuss the issues and subsequently made alterations to ingredients in several dishes to accommodate the food allergies and there were several choices. We also really enjoyed the specialty cocktails. Super fun night!

This is the third time we've been to Dread River, we LOVE it! The tour is awesome Carl is a genius! The small plates are really tasty, pork belly egg rolls are the best. The servers have been cool with a good sense of humor. My fiancé and I can't brag on all their alcoholic products enough! We own all of them each and everyone is first rate. We can't we for the debute of their Rye and Bourbon late this year!

Great night out in downtown Birmingham. This place has the best tasting cocktails that I’ve ever had in Birmingham. Excellent service, gorgeous venue. 10/10. Would come again for any occasion from very casual to very formal. Well done, Dread River.

Really happy with the new menu and the new cocktail list. The staff did a great job working multiple tickets over several hours, while helping to maintain appropriate distancing.

Creative cocktails that you won’t find anywhere else in Birmingham. The space is huge - perfect if you want to social distance. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the egg rolls

Really incredible small plates. First time here, and we will be regulars. As you’d expect from a distillery, cocktails are top-notch. Unexpected was their excellent, on-site microbrew beers.
