We had a fun night with 2 guys who played live music & were good. It's been too long
to not hear a live band. Our drinks were good & also our dinner but my Husbands pasta
was a little over cooked. He really enjoyed his cream brûlée dessert.
Great food and awesome service. Our waiter was K.C. very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely return.
Delicious !!! oysters casino was really good app. But by far the steaks were out of this world! I had the strip my wife had the filet... perfectly cooked and extremely tasty!! It was pricey but worth it!!! My son had the salmon and he said it was his favorite ever!! Lol.. Brittany our waitress was amazing and on point with everything.. we will definitely be back!!! Thank you..
What a disappointment! Lots of locals love this place. Not sure if its the place to be seen by the important pretentious people in town, but our experience was pretty poor. $140 for a lousy tasteless porterhouse steak, $58 for a dry tough strip steak. Service started pretty good, than our waitress disappeared between dessert, 15 minutes later, coffee, and completely disappeared bringing us the check, we had to go find her... I hate when I'm ready to leave and the wait staff disappears.
I thought the service was excellent. I’ve been there many times in the past. The food this evening I did not feel was up to par for the prices one is willing to pay for eating there.
Outstanding meal. Outstanding service. Restaurant was COVID-19 responsible and we all felt safe. I highly recommend!!
I steak was cold and T service was horrible I really hate when they leave the plates on top of my table when I finish eating and they were there for almost 40 minutes
Any David Burke restaurant is always a real treat !!!!
What a great night at Drifthouse!
Food was spectacular and service was spot-on!
First time to this restaurant and it was great. We were lucky enough to get the restaurant week menu which was an excellent deal. Would like to try the Angry Hour menu next time.
Outstanding meal! Casey was a top notch server and everything from drinks to dessert were delicious
This was my first time here and everything from the meal, wine, service and atmosphere was outstanding. We came on restaurant week and had a three course pre fixed meal, it was fabulous. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Dinner with friends outside before it gets too cold. All 4 enjoyed the appetizers, side dishes, and entrees.
We went during Jersey Shore Restaurant Week. What a beautiful evening at a beautiful venue with outstanding food and service. Everything was absolutely delicious with a beautiful view of the ocean! David Burke himself was on premises and stopped by to say hello.
We started off with burnt popovers which the waiter told us are supposed to look burnt but don’t taste burnt. We assured him that they tasted burnt and he quickly got us new pop overs. Our appetizers were good, but once again one of our entrées was burnt, the salmon. For dessert, the crème brûlée came chilled. Overall A Very disappointing experience, especially for a David Burke restaurant.
Everything was great. Really. And prices are reasonable for this level of dining. Get lobster dumplings. The pesto rigatoni. Tuna au poivre. And cheesecake pops for two. You will be happy.
We had the pre-fix meal; Dinner was delicious, portions adequate, but would have liked to have a vegetable included with my meal.
I have been to Driftwood several times and mostly go for the clothesline bacon and awesome wine and burger on English muffin. English muffin burger wasn’t available so but we still got the clothesline bacon. This time around the bacon was cold even after our bartender fired it up still slightly cold and he gave us the hollow bread which was warm on the outside but cold on the inside. Our bartender Nick was great friendly and hospitable. But the food not so much a little disappointing. First time I left there and was a little disappointed with the food. I hope next time it’s like it usually is and next time I’ll say something to the bartender. Thank you for an awesome place
Wonderful!!! The place was scenic, the food was tasty and the service was great.
Restaurant Week menu selections were plentiful. For an appetizer, all of us selected the Clam Chowder soup but it was much too spicy. The menu description made no mention of it being spicy. Had we known, we would have selected a different appetizer. Two of us had the Branzino and the other person salmon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees but we would have liked something on the side to go with it--maybe a small potato or some rice??? The dessert selections were varied and we all enjoyed it. The popovers were exceptional!! Would have liked if there was a happy hour when we were there.
The food and service was very good, the night I went there was a very relaxing Vibe with the musicians playing.
Great food and great fixed menu prices for restaurant week
Great from beginning to end. We had the nj chowder soup, delicious salmon and crème brûlée. Wish for more gluten free. Especially popovers and deserts
The food was very good and reasonably priced due to Jersey Shore Restaurant Week. The server Alex was great as well.
It would be great if the outdoor dining season could be extended with the implementation of heating towers.
The food was delicious, since it was restaurant week we were asked for entire 3 courses upon ordering.... the food came out way too fast even after I asked not to be rushed. 3 of us were in and out in an hour! Put a damper on the evening
Not quite sure what happened tonight ...this place has always been delicious I think the chef was a little bit off....lobster cavatelli was not good neither was the filet mignon .....The drift house salad was delicious service was great!!
VERY GOOD. GREAT LOCATION ON THE WATER IN SEABRIGHT. APPETIZERS WERE TERRIFIC, AND MAIN COURSES VERY GOOD.
Amazing! Loved every single thing about the ambience, the staff and the food! Can’t wait to go back!
We have been to Drifthouse many times, but I never wrote a review. Two weeks ago we had a steamed Lobster that was outstanding!
So Saturday night we decided to eat at the bar (inside!) Barnegat Bay Oysters were delicious and the cocktail sauce is icy and chunky. We had a maki roll spicy tuna - it was ok - nothing notable.
For dinner we ordered an aged porterhouse $140.00 to split, although it was tasty unfortunately for the $ it was very chewy, that was disappointing. All in all it's a great venue for drinks and less serious food. The bartenders are attentive, and cocktails were very good.
Food and service excellent. Would go every night if I could afford it
A gem! We were enticed when we found Drifthouse among the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week offerings. We dined early on Saturday night and were impressed by the lovely location between the Atlantic and the Shrewsbury River, the food offerings (we were served the most exquisite beet salad I've ever seen), and first rate service. The dishes are prepared with great care. We had salmon and Branzino and both were quite delicious. When was the last time you were served popovers? No shortcuts here. The staff is attentive but not hovering. This is a must try restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Well done Drifthouse!
Tasty creative fall punch cocktail, attentive, informative service by Jen, check ins from other staff to make sure all was well. And the the food - popovers, lobster dumplings, surf and turf, creme brulee - all perfect.
The food was a bit pricey, but excellent.
Drifthouse is an excellent waterfront dinner spot inside the Driftwood Cabana Club (membership not necessary to dine here). The service was great at the bar and in the main dining room, with Casey and Jess respectively steering us toward innovative new drinks and dishes as well as the crowd favorites (mmmm, bacon) that any DB fan will gravitate toward. From start to finish the courses were inventive and satisfying--the angy lobster dumplings, lobster cavatelli, and banana creme pie were standouts.
The decor is understated and comfortable, letting the ocean and river views speak for themselves. We will absolutely dine here again and would recommend this for a coulpe's night out as well as a family celebration.
Service was slow but food was delicious and worth the wait!
Exactly what we would expect from a fine-dining restaurant. Service was perfect, outdoor dining most pleasurable.
The menu is pricy just for the entrees, no sides with your meal. Every side is a la carte.
Food was ok, service wasn't good. Waitress didn't bring our sides until we ask for them.
For such a well known chef I expected more from the overall experience.
I actually left hungry.
Not rushing back
Wonderful evening out. Apps were outstanding!
Service was great. Unfortunately their heaters weren’t working yet, but that was our decision to eat outdoors, so not their problem. The biggest disappointment was cold popovers. Small thing but I love popovers. Food was good but not exceptional and you are paying for exceptional
