Excellent job staff is extremely talented !polite and likable fast wonderful food! I’m a career bartender/server and was very happy with my whole experience from the front door to greeting to closing out my bill everything was perfect! Congratulations to your staff!!
Nice outdoor seating area in the shade! Efficient and friendly wait staff. Tasty food!
We ask ourselves is this a return spot everywhere we go. Based on the bread alone it was a yes!!! Bread is phenomenal. Drinks also terrific. Had salmon sliders yummm husband had Cali burger and he said it was amazing! Great service made this a for sure return.
Good food and great service! We will return very soon.
I had heard time and time again how great Duke’s happy hour is, so my daughter and I decided to give it a try. Server was a little slow, maybe too many tables between outside and inside; bartender was slow I making the drinks so maybe not all the server’s fault. We were sat right across from another table with 2 small kids when there were so many other tables we could’ve sat at. Inside dining room wasn’t that busy. So, sort of annoying. Anyway, food was great. We both had the chicken sandwich on the happy hour menu. I had one happy hour drink and my daughter had 2 glasses of wine - also discounted on happy hour. The bill was $68. That is not happy hour. The prices weren’t listed on the happy hour menu either and now I know why. What a rip off. People go to happy hours to get deals. Dukes is clearly extremely over priced if this is their idea of a happy hour deal. At least list the happy hour prices on the menu so people know what their going to pay. Won’t do happy hour there again no matter how good those chicken sandwiches were. Don’t be a dick, Duke’s. Happy hour should make people feel happy, not ripped off.
Great place, the staff were excellent, and food was delicious. Will return again.
Even though they were short staffed like everyone else these days they did a great job taking care of us. Food was excellent as usual.
The wait staff was very good. The menu had a nice mix of items for selection. The portion size was good. My meal was OK, but the halibut was dry, which eliminated some of the subtle flavor of the fish.
The service was very good and fast. The food was very well prepared and good but, slightly overpriced. We will return.
Meeting my great niece:)
Excellent seafood dishes, fresh, well seasoned. Crab cakes were amazing, with more crab than expected. Wirh 3 of us, we ordered a tyoes of chowder. Each one was tasty, full of flavor and meat.
Would eat here again.
Friendly and efficient staff. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious, I ordered the trio - clam chowder, spinach salad and crab cake. The crab cake was one of the best I have had!
Our server was so polite and accommodating and the food was fantastic. I enjoy dining here as much as I can.
Clam chowder was creamy and herby. Very good and served hot.
Made my reservation online and it was very easy. This was a special occasion which they asked that question. Got to the restaurant, table was ready and we were seated right away. Our Server Natalie was fantastic and the food was delicious. There was six of us and everyone enjoyed their dish tremendously. Definitely recommend!!!
We loved our dinner! It was my birthday so it was a special time to be out and we got to sit outside which was even better! Loved the avocado appetizer and want the recipe!!!!
It has been years since going to Dukes and I will definitely go back --- and soon!
Plus the cost was reasonable and thought the presentation was fabulous!
The last service we had, has shown that this is by far the worst Duke's Seafood in the South Sound. There were many issues: First, we had a reservation but had to wait another 10-15 mins even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Second, we had requested outdoor seating but got seating inside. We wouldn't have a problem with that if it was busy, but it wasn't busy at all and the group right after us got outdoor seating. Thirdly, it took over 15 minutes to get any service. The waitress said she would drop off some stuff and come back to us but instead she went to a different table and got their order. A different waitress eventually came by and took our order, stating that our original waitress was "busy". This is the 3rd time we've gone here with the same exact service. Absolutely disappointing, especially when the other Duke's locations are 10 times better. We'll spend the extra 20 minute drive and just go to the Southcenter location.
Fabulous menu selection. The clam chowder was very good, there are four variations on a theme. Food was filling and excellent taste. Salmon was terrific. Would go back for lunch or dinner.
Good experience. Only downfall was it took a while to get our drinks. About 20-30 minutes per drink. Also I was out of water and had asked for some more and never got any. But our food was great!
Very good food and nice atmosphere. The servers were very attentive and responsive. A bit expensive but okay for a special night out.
The Duke's team was so amazing! We arrived for our reservation right at opening and quickly became the 4 loud ladies as we were ecstatic to be reunited and celebrating some pretty big life events! The team could have easily been annoyed or ignored us as the lunch rush followed in, but instead they celebrated right there with us! And even went above and beyond to make it special! Thank you for everything.
Food was great and also the service. Dukes is aways one of our favorites.
I have always enjoyed going to Dukes. I’ve lived in this area my entire life so I think I’ve been to at least 6 of them.
Last night we went to the Kent station location, and we were blown away at their prices!! The ambiance of Dukes hasn’t changed, still a very casual place. They are now priced like a 4 star restaurant! The food was good, but not what I would expect for the price. Sadly I will never go back to a Dukes. If I want to pay those prices I expect the ambiance of a 4 star restaurant.
This was the first time my partner and I had been out to eat in more than a year. We were ex
We both had the Blackened Salmon Pasta dish and have decided it’s our favorite! Monday being half price wine night made it even better!
We moved to Arizona 7 years ago, but love to stop by Duke’s whenever we’re back to visit. The chowder is always amazing, as are the fish ‘n chips.
The servers were good but possibly understaffed. The bar drinks were good. The booth furniture is too close together and some booth tables are wobbly. The $40 halibut entree was overcooked with scant sauce. Other entree items were good. The Brookie was dry on the outside and avoided by all. Other desserts were good. The food quality did not warrant the prices. If I go to Dukes again, it will be at a different location.
We went to Duke's Kent Station to celebrate my wife's birthday with our two young children. It was the first time we have gone out to eat since the start of Covid March 2020.
We went all out since it had been a while. Our sever was very professional and a pleasure to enjoy dinner with. We had the best service and meal in such a long time, with the exception of our children's meals. The hamburgers in which they had ordered were very red inside and were suppose to be medium well cooked. We know this happens from time to time and the server as well as the MOD were very kind in handling the situation. We ended up having the burgers re cooked and packaged to take home as our kids were getting a bit restless and my wife and I had already finished our meals. The Manager was gracious enough to give us a complementary birthday dessert which was very thoughtful.
EXCELLENT seafood and great ambiance. The service was a little slow initially but we are in a pandemic to getting help is a little challenging for restaurants. We did get great help from our server!
The waitress and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and since they had both inside and outside seating, it felt less crowded than previously, and very safe.
The food at Duke's never disappoints. This time we picked the Mother's Day Brunch item that includes bacon, shrimp, and eggs over a toasted English muffin, bathed in hollandaise sauce, red potatoes on the side. Excellent food. My second cup of excellent coffee stayed hot until I was done, so the cup must have just come from the dishwasher or Duke's tries to keep them hot, I don't know which, but it was a nice touch. My only complaint is that we had to sit in a narrow booth because of COVID limitations; there were no other seats left at the time.
Great place to relax and eat. Would recommend to family and friends.
Food and drinks were outstanding and the service was fantastic! We weren’t expecting much due to Covid, but pleasantly surprised. We’ll be going back again and again. Definitely order the cucumber mojito if you go!
Good food, good service, good cocktails. A little pricey.
My experience was different...I though this was a family environment because I was asked to leave. My 2 yr old made one noise
They discontinued sides….so….less food….for more $$$……tasted good tho
So glad to have found a restaurant that provides wild caught seafood and other sustainable foods.
We were celebrating a family birthday and had a great table and our waitress was just the best❤️
Great service. Great food. Dukes doesn’t disappoint.
