Earls Kitchen + Bar - Bridge Park - Burnaby

Service was quick and efficient. Food always good.

First of all there was no social distancing tables were side-by-side nobody obviously was able to wear a mask. Next the noise was off the charts, people talking plus music

I found a mouse around the tables
Staff didn’t do anything about it and said they had seen it before
Shrugged their shoulders
I took a picture of it for proof
Other customers also saw the mouse.

Earls menu is good, particularly considering that it is being offered during a pandemic. Service is timely and friendly--and our family group of five was allowed to sit together. We enjoyed our time at Earls, as we always do.

food and drinks were good as always. server seemed uninterested in serving us. The only time she was friendly was while we were paying our bill.

We enjoyed our night tremendously. We had a wonderful waiter who was on it! The service was fantastic. Can’t wait to go again!!

A very pleasant dinner. Our waiter was very accommodating when I placed my order but asked if I could substitute an item within that order. The food arrived in a timely manner, was very tasty and our server was very helpful. It was nice to be able to enjoy and have a pleasant conversation without having to shout over loud music. I'm sure we'll be back.

We would definitely recommend Earls Bridge Park Burnaby.Very nice experience.

It wasn’t busy but took awhile to get our food and when we got it it was warm, not hot. Menu for waffles was deceiving as it says served with seasonal fruit not that is comes with fruit sauce. Both people that ordered the waffles were expecting actual fresh fruit.

The standard reservation was for 2:00pm. We were offered a table next to the bar and all its traffic which we rejected and had to wait for a table next to the washrooms in the lounge area! The noise level was too high particularly when a bunch of younger patrons were there cheering on a football team.
Nevertheless, we accepted our predicament to be faced with a less than pleasant waitress.
We ordered the calamari appy it came in without side dishes. we had to ask for side dishes particularly in consideration for social distancing. The calamari was too greasy and contained bits and pieces of cauliflower and god knows what else!!
The waitress asked me to pick up my fork and knife to use with my meal. I said I'd rather have new fork and knife, she looked surprised, annoyed and reluctantly brought me only a fork and no knife, which I had to ask the manager for a knife and a clean napkin.
The food was reasonable, the attention to our table was unacceptable. My partner said she will never come back to this place, mainly because of the poor service we received.
Earls was one of my favourite places but considering the poor service, we will consider other options.

Food and service was great. Proper COVID protocols were evident (ex: plastic shields b tables, servers wearing masks, disinfectant at entrance and washrrooms and appropriate signs)

Great brunch and fantastic service. Better follow up with guests walking around the restaurant without masks, but otherwise it was good.

Our waiter was outstanding though I have forgotten his name.

Was ok... their burgers are the best. But other menu items only average. They need to improve their menu items to catch up to the competition (ie Cactus club)

Was sad when they got rid of their Prawn & scallop linguine, which was outstanding

Had a great meal. Friendly service. It was busier than expected. Pre-New Year's kind of vibe.

My wife and I went to dine out Dec. 29th. Our greeting at the door was very friendly. Once at the table the manager Jameison (Spelling?) said he was aware of my seafood allergy, would have the head chef prepare my meal and J. would bring it to the table personally. Appreciate the safety concerns and attention to my allergy. Earls has always responded in a great way to this.
And then........our server arrived - Anthony -. What great 'force of nature'. He truly made our dining experience wonderful, fun filled and so interesting. He was never intrusive nor overwhelming. He knew how to treat his customers. We felt so valued and appreciated. It seemed as if our personalities comfortably connected. At the end of our evening and on our drive home we celebrated what a great time we had. Anthony is a real credit to servers. Because of our Earls experience we will be returning as it has become a pleasurable choice to make when considering dining out.
We had a 5:45 reservation and requested the dining room. They seated us there fortunately as often the noise on the 'lounge side' is often too loud for us to have a conversation as our 'aging ears' struggle to hear. I liked this option for us.
Started with the Tinhorn Creek Pinot Gris. Tasty.
My wife had the salmon and said it was so delicious. Instead of the asparugus she had the squash and beet combination which she enjoyed.
I had steak which was done perfectly. Loved the mashed and asparagus.
As it was my birthday we had a complimentary chocolate cake. So excellent. A perfect finish.
All in all a superb dining experience.

I like the service and the staff are so nice, but the most important reason that I always chose this location is because they have the best Ramen ! I even talked with their manager about that ! The chef “ Nick “ is so professional! Thank you so much Nick you are the best !👍

The service was outstanding. We never had an empty drink. The food was tasty and we were very satisfied with the quality and value. The restaurant itself was well seated and the ambiance was fun and enjoyable. Given the current situation, it seemed all the tables were having a great time.

Consistent menu and courteous servers make for a great dining experience. This location has both and has become a regular spot for food and drink.

for covid restrictions the restaurant should be a bit spread out. when we came to eat most of the people were seated very close together which seems very unsafe

The high prices should reflect the quality of food. I order a cajun chicken entree and the chicken was burnt, the potatoe salad was runny, the coleslaw was watery. Its was a horrible meal. Yah sure they cooked another chicken for me but the food coming out the kitchen is questionable.
The saving grace was that the waitress was super attentive and very good.
But that's not enough to go back to overpriced crappy food.

There is a huge variety of food choices. The food was very good. We all enjoyed our food and shared many things.

Nice atmosphere and staffs were so friendly. I’m not gonna go out there often caz of COVID thing but definitely come back when it’s done

As usual we enjoyed our food, and the service was great. A nice touch, Christian said goodbye to us at the door.

With Covid the only section open was the bar section which is rather noisy and the seat selection not great as most of the booths are in the dining area.

I ordered the chicken tenders but unfortunately they do not make them with pengo flakes anymore so they were not as crispy. They still serve them with the delicious citrus plum sauce.
They came with fries although I just ordered the tenders. I asked about that and was told that is how they come bit that is incorrect as I got dinged an extra 3 dollars for the fries.

The chicken tenders were also a bit over cooked looking rather brown as opposed to the lighter colour I am used to.

I also ordered the steak frites with a side salad.
The steak did not come sliced and was cooked unevenly. Some parts were rare, a few bites medium rare as requested bunt mostly medium. The side salad was a fair size except the grape tomatoes had gone bad and were sour. Also I was not told it came with feta and I avoid cheese. The waitress told me it also came with garlic bread but it did not.

I asked the waitress to bring the chicken tenders first then the steak but for some reason there was about a 30 to 40 minute delay between the 2 courses.

As I have health issues that keep me from being out for long periods I ate what I could and packed the rest. I was not feeling up to waiting and complaining.

I did mention the chicken tender issue to the person that brought me the bill but he said since I had eaten the fries there was nothing he could do.

I just saw this in my emails so I thought I would respond.

It was a disappointing meal and experience.
After writing this review I realize I should have given ones not 2s

Oh well.
No plans to repeat this poor dining experience. I even left the kids at home so I could enjoy my meal in peace.

Wearing the MUZZLE[mandatory} to a table, where you can take it off is a JOKE! Restaurants need to take a stand towards this NON SENCE, or struggle and eventually die. Your choice!

Great service and food. It was also nice to get out of the house and feel some normalcy. Very clean as well. The manager Christian was super nice and polite

Nigel was our waiter for our evening and made every effort to make sure our night went well. It was my wife’s 60th birthday and all the staff were great

I left 3/4 of my dinner and the server didn’t even ask when he cleared my plate away if anything was wrong My steak was done med rare when asked for med well. Asian mix of vegetables did not taste good, carrots hard as a rock.

Not sure I would go back to this location.

The waitress is amazing! We had her twice and hopefully, she will become our regular waitress. The food are amazing, wings, and steak. The drinks are amazing! WIll come on Wednesdays if we can! :)

The food is delicious here and and extensive menu, we have never been disappointed

Great place to eat anytime but even better during happy hour. Excellent quality food with reasonable portions. Server and manager always available to attend tp your needs.
