Earls Kitchen + Bar - Station Square
The portion is a bit small for the price. Other than that it was great!
The place both had a nice ambience and staff. The food was delicious as well.
This was our first visit to the recently opened station Square location. As we had reserved a table, we were seated promptly at a very nice table. As I had indicated on my reservation that it was our anniversary, the hostess made a point of congratulating us while seating us. Our server, Skeena, was very attentive to all our needs and was always there when we needed. The house red wine and rhino ales were excellent, especially at happy hour pricing. For applies, we enjoyed the garlic fries and dynamite rolls. Both excellent. We followed up with a ahi tuna poke bowl and the chicken Hunan kung pao...both very delicious and good portions. We ended the evening with the NYC cheesecake...yummy and large...good thing we shared. When Skeena brought us our bill, she comped us for the cheesecake for our anniversary. Thanks again Skeena. We will be back.
Good food, but I ordered a brunch meal with a side of crispy potatoes, which were very small pieces. Wish they were fuller potatoe cure instead of leftover type fried pieces only.
My scallop risotto was not hot when served to me and the risotto just tasted like overcooked rice grains. Of 3/4 steak orders we had, 3 of them had fairly tough meat even though it was cooked to our request. Again, the food doesn't come out piping hot and the asparagus side was super soggy and overcooked. If I were to go again, it wouldn't be for these items, I'd probably go for the burgers.
I made res and was seated being told someone would help us soon, and we waited 20 minutes for a server and had to ask our hostess for the server. Service after that was fine but the initial wait kinda killed it
We made a reservation but asked to wait for another 10 minutes when we arrived. The cajun chicken we ordered was black like charcoal or it’s the way it cooked? Other than that, the place is clean and the servers are friendly and helpful.
Food was delicious! Only one critique I have is some dishes tasted super salty. Would be good to ease up on the sodium please (coconut prawns and cajun chicken in particular were super salty)
The service was quick and the food was excellent! Loved it!
Good food! Friendly staff. This is our go to restaurant for consist good food and service,
We enjoyed the convenience of the store location that is next to over crowded Metrotown. The environment is good and the service is up to the value. Only one fault is that the server might be uptight on the next availability of tables. We were kind of sensed and pressured to not to stay longer.
Dec 24 booked on open table for 630pm but was at the door and the signed said closes at 4pm. No one bothered to contact us. The reservation was made more than 2 weeks prior.
Ambience is good, seating is good
Service was good
But food was different from the description on the menu. I had roasted cauliflower + chicken salad : It says it contains gala apple, parmesan cheese but they were both undetectable, and there was no gala apple. Cauliflower was under roasted. Chicken was nicely cooked but portion was too small. It’s almost 20 per dish but I was left unsatisfied. Not the flavour profile i expected. Earls should know customers decide their dish based on description.
It was an excellent value...we went for the happy hour brunch which is discounted between 10 am and noon on the weekend. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall it was a good experience. The large space gets a bit noisy so it can be difficult to have a conversation but that is the only drawback. We will go again!
It was my first time going to Earls for the brunch weekend. I will definitely come back again. I would like to try all the brunch menu. It's a great deal and a must try.
Beautiful decor. Great service. Good quality good. Go for their happy hour food & drinks if you want your bill to be a little lower.
The cajun salmon that we ordered was too salty and almost inedible.
Busy time for lunch but service was good. Not obtrusive but there when needed. Street tacos were a good serving size but messy to eat. Good flavour. My friend’s chicken strips were a large portion too. Would have preferred larger type (size) of fries. The small ones get too crispy but again the serving size was good.
It is at convenient location and parking/transit nearby. That is why this restaurant will remain busy even the service, food quality is barely average. This restaurant is one of the worst Earls I ever been to. Due to lack of pubs near metrotown this Earls becomes one. There two tables in dining area where people just yell and shout at each other like you do at a pub with friends. Just not enjoying our dinner at all
Always have a great experience . I booked that it was a birthday and the server recognized that when seated. A few things that lead me to believe he was very busy. He forgot to order a second drink and when he brought it he said it was complimentary since he forgot , but we ended up getting charged .
He then asked if we wanted dessert and I looked at him and said yes it’s a birthday can we get one piece of cake or pie or something .
I was quite disappointed with the all too high volume of the music at Station Square making it very difficult to talk (last Saturday at 1:30). Please keep it down or we will have to go to the nearby Cactus Club. Thank you
We were celebrating a birthday and pleasantly surprised by a nice birthday card from the staff. The food was good and the server was friendly.
i really liked the new location. The decor reminded me of the 70's.
it was very comfortable, good food and we could hear one another when we spoke!!!!
Not sure if it’s because it’s happy hour so they cheap out on the food or they’ve just changed or each location is different but food quality was not the same as what I’ve had before. Service was great though!
We like good food, but not picky. The burger my husband ordered, the bun was not toasted and cold. Even an A & W would have toasted the bun. The pizza came out cold, we did say the food can come anytime, so they can either gave it to us right away or keep it in the warmer. The steak was good though.
Thanks for asking!
Great place to socialize; throw back music is always loved! Service is good. Dimes at this location a couple of times and both times not super impressed with the food, can’t put my finger on it though (dry? ). Would go back for happy hour/drinks with girlfriends though!
Service wasn’t good because our server was busy bussing and didn’t bother to come back and get our dessert order after we’ve been waiting to flag her down. The steak was very chewy and it wasn’t even medium cooked as we asked. It was rare. We complained about it and the manager came and took that off our bill which was nice but we’ve been to Earls many times but it seems like it’s going downhill ever since they opened this new restaurant. The old one was way better with food and service. Most likely won’t be back :(
We had a great time at Earls Station Square. The central location is handy for bringing people together from all over. Fun location for an informal business meeting and relaxing afterwards. Big thanks to Naomi for outstanding service.
Worst waitress ever!
Came here for the brunch special. I was not impressed by the food the last time I was here but this time, the food was better.
The service is good and the food came quickly.
In terms of value, I probably won't recommend unless there is a special.
My favourite spot in Burnaby for lunch, happy hour and dinner for business or with friends. I also get a discount with my WeWork membership.
I like this new earls!
Food was great! Location is good! Nice service too!
We got there at 11:45 am and missed the brunch special by 5 minutes. Then we were advised by our server they ran out of waffles. I wanted to order Southern fried chicken with waffles. I was so happy our server came back and made it happen. They served me my waffles.
The service was wonderful! I also enjoyed the atmosphere and style of this location.
Free parking was a plus but only for 3hrs. We stayed 3 hrs and 15 mins and one of my friends got a ticket 😭
Great food, but too many times of server’s visits. It was a little disappointment when I didn’t get any birthday cake.
Good food, good service. Nothing that blows you away but a good choice for certain items. Over priced for what it is buts it's a trendy place that seems to have its loyalty base
