The worse part of the whole experience is having to use a third party service. Then add an annoying review request has just killed it for me.

Our meal was very good - My steak was done to perfection! Very nice waiter, very attentive.

We are always treated very well when we go to this Earl’s location. The staff are friendly, and the manager steps up and helps out when the staff get busy. Great place to dine

Food great as always. Seats were uncomfortable-totally need to replace the cushions on the sofas. Prices have really gone up but that is not only here. Was really good overall.

Food was good, but portion sizes are small. Very noisy restaurant. Frustrating that there is a $2.50 upgrade charge to get a basic side salad instead of french fries. A restaurant shouldn't discourage its diners from trying to eat healthy.

Great food only complaint the waitress barely checked to see how we were. Had to ask for refills.

Very nice experience, was busy but service was good, food was awesome, and we came because there were vegan options. Only possible complaint was it was very loud but that was because it was a busy night and not the restaurants fault

It’s a nice place, the food is decent but the portions are small so meal size/price ratio is lacking. More fries!!! The service was good, the waitress was friendly, helpful and polite.

I ordered the Santa fe Chicken Salad. I love this dish. It was super fresh with crispy tortilla and the chicken breast was cajan and juicy. As always (and I've been dining at Earl's since the mid 80's) the wait staff were quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Government street is a go-to for my family especially during COVID.

It was my Birthday and Earls is my favourite celebration place. Even during this pandemic, Earls did not disappoint me. Great, and safe experience all around. Our server was wonderful. Thanks. See you next time.

My mother slipped and fell on a dirty floor. I accept that I was upset and in crisis mode as an ambulance was called and my mother was taken to hospital with a broken arm and a concussion. That does not excuse the lack of action by your staff. One young man was wonderful and offered non stop assistance to my mother. Only him. It was very clear, however, that your staff do not have proper training in how to quickly and effectively deal with an emergency. The floor was slippery because a mess had clearly not been cleaned properly. There was residue and bits of noodle in the place where my mother tripped. I have photographs to prove as such. We will not be taking legal action, but I believe we have every right to. What I wanted was a warm apology and for someone to take accountability. We did not get either. In fact we paid our bill in full and were offered no compensation for my mother's ruined birthday lunch or the fact that we were unable to attend the Emily Carr exhibit at the museum that we had already booked and paid for. In stead we got hours in an emergency room. Your staff were smug and seemed like they cared only for covering their behind and not for making a situation that was clearly your fault right. I'm a former Earls employee and I'm absolutely floored how this went. Never in my time working at Earls did I see reactions like this. It truly disappointing. This could have been dealt with proactively. Because it wasn't you've lost life long patrons over this event.

It was an amazing atmosphere. I had quite a lovely time, and our server was so awesome! I was feeling a bit down and she gave me a drink on the house (: The food was also very delicious!

We had a group of four, waitress was great, got us drinks right away. We told her it was a birthday dinner, she offered to take our pictures, asked if we had any food allergies. Food was great! We had a great time, would come back in a second!

This is the second time we have dined at Earls, each time for a special occasion. We are not sorry. The food is excellent and the wait staff are pleasant and outgoing. It's certainly a place for those special days, and ordinary won't do. Covid protocols are observed and it still feels "normal".

Food and service was wonderful. The best steak dinner by far in the city. There was one particular table watching the basketball game that was very loud. But otherwise we had a fabulous time.
