   Food was amazing! Are there for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast meal for everyone was outstanding and service by our waiter was excellent. Dinner meal also fantastic, very unique and tasty. Service however was very slow. Alternated between the 2 bartenders even though we had made a dinner reservation. No one once came to fill up our water glasses after initially being seated. One order for the appetizer was incorrect but was remedied and not charged for. Took over 30 min to receive our appetizers. Dinner followed about 30 min later, but was well cooked and prepared. Dessert was the volcano brownie and was dry. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and warm atmosphere. We were not in a rush that evening otherwise the long wait May have been a problem, but the food was worth it and we would likely go again

   Très bon service malgré visiblement le manque de personnel, leur salade vaut le détour, leur Général Tao au poulet est délicieux et sûrement que je penserais la même chose pour bien d’autres choix de leur menu considérant le soin avec lequel ils sont préparés. Je suis passé un samedi soir et il n’y avait pas trop de bruit pour ceux dont c’est un facteur important. J’y retournerai très probablement car c’était vraiment une expérience agréable.

   J'ai eu une très belle expérience à ce restaurant. C'est un endroit où on peut retrouver des plats asiatiques que l'on aime et connaît bien ainsi que d'intéressants plats à essayer. La majorité des plats sont bons à partager. Nous avons été plus que rassasiés en ayant commandé 2 entrées, 1 à-côté et 3 plats à partager entre 4 personnes.

   Service was really slow and very inattentive. You shouldn’t have to get the attention of servers when needing something. Didn’t seem short staffed just not engaged. would not return

    Mediocre experience at East Pan; it took our server 30 mins to get us water. The food was just okay and a little expensive for what it was.

    Did not eat here the night of my review. (Previously have reviewed and it was good, food and service). Arrived... was greeted by a lady who was pleasant initially. For 2 mins...she offered us two tables both tables were beside other dinners (presumably because tables offered to us were already set tables, no extra WORK for her!). Newsflash, a couple going out for dinner at 8pm don't want to sit beside a family of 4 or another couple (actually ANYONE) when your restaurant has 10 other available tables. EMPTY. Get OUT of the service industry you are clearly burned out. We left and went to Ryu. Amazing service! We were treated WAY better. Very disappointing as East Pan restaurant is good, ate there a few days before. Jonelle (sp?) was a good server. Shows how 1 uncaring lazy server/ hostess can make or break an experience. Shame on you ...experienced woman with blank tank top and long red hair, treat others how YOU would want to be treated...

    Food was excellent. Staff were very good but the restaurant was short staffed. Would definitely go there again. We went to sit in the lounge for an after dinner drink and when the bartender came over after waiting for almost 15 minutes, she told us it would be at least another 10 to order a drink. We left because they weren't that busy.

    Really nice decor. Tables for 2 not too close together. Friendly staff. Food came out really temperature hot and stayed hot so bowls heated well. Had Szechuan bowl (chicken very spicy but good) and Singapore bowl (veggie) good flavour. Very fresh and delicious food.

    The place is very nice, food is good and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. It was very busy, so a bit slow to get the main course, but we will definitely go back. A good place close to our work, makes it even better!

    This restaurant is adjacent to the bar at the Renaissance hotel in Montreal. It is staffed by the bar tenders who clearly don’t love their dual roles! Two of them were quite rude and couldn’t care less. The food took ages to come. It was OK. I certainly would not eat here again.

    As soon as you walk in you feel the festive energy. It was my 3 year anniversary with my super picky fiancé and I wanted him to try something different. He LOVED it. From the Sake based drink (which he had 2 of) to the Beef Skewer and General Tao. I had the dumplings and Chow Mien. Delicious. The service was also great! We were never missing anything. Would go back in a heartbeat~

    Great service and good food. The restaurant was noisy, there seemed to be a corporate event going on when we were there. The food was tasty and the portion size was generous. My stomach wasn't happy afterwards and the food came back up but I don't think that was the restaurant's fault. My husband didn't have issues with his food.

    Unfortunately, this place has the look and feel of a hotel lobby restaurant. The hamachi sashimi was decent but could've been fresher. Had to ask for wasabi mustard, and had to stare at my food for 10 minutes while it came... Not a destination restaurant, which it would fancy itself, but a decent place to grab a bite if you're staying at the hotel.

    Our server was very helpful, friendly and attentive. The General Tsaos Tofu was excellent. We also liked the Kimchi fried rice. We are pescatarian and had a good meal. The restaurant is in a hotel and we were seated in what seemed like the hotel bar/lounge area. Its okay, but the seats are kind of low. Overall, we thought the place was great.

    Excellent food with good professional service. We were seated in front but would have preferred the back as the front was more bar/lounge, however, it was ok for lunch. We are old clients and will be back.
