Great cocktail experience. Interesting menu and service is a bit of a nice show in the same time with stylish and charismatic waiters. Definitely a nice experience!
We only had olives for food but I’d call that very good value for money.

Fantastic ambience from the moment you walk in, exactly what I was hoping for. Some unique drinks on offer but some limitations did exist (was maybe just me). Music floated in and out throughout the night but was not overpowering which is always a delight. Was not too overcrowded numbers-wise, yet perhaps the seating was still a little close to others just given current circumstances.

Loved the cocktail menu, and the service was excellent. My only criticism is that it wasn't sign posted from the street and we walked right past it a few times.

Cocktail waiter was wonderful, cockatil list looked impressive but few were delicious. Everyone there was super friendly, the service was fine, but we could have done with requests for drinks with greater regularity. The experience was okay, Id recommend going there once and checking it out, but I will not be going again as I did not enjoy the taste of alot of the cocktails ordered (save for the classic Old Fashioned and the passionfruit cocktail) . Also I gave the food 5 stars, but I didnt order anything, I had to pick a rating to write a review.

Very enjoyable

The floor service staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when deciding what to order and proficient in the delivering of the cocktails. It was disappointing how long we had to wait for the arrival of our cocktails. At a fairly quite time early on a Friday night, we were a table of ten with a limited time frame, one person behind the bar making cocktails made the visit a little frustrating.

For the price, I just wanted a bit more of an experience.

Eau de Vie was amazing! I enjoyed everything there, the set up was cosy and quirky, the drinks were spectacular and the service was excellent. Absolutely recommend!

Great variety of drinks. Premium quality products used. Snack/food menu could be expanded.

Came in for drinks the other night and ordered the martini flights which were awesome! Also ordered the bread and olives which took a while to arrive and when we got it the olives were soggy - perhaps not a good quality brand.
We had a table next to us who had their phones out with some of those LUMI bright lights and their phone torches on which was really disturbing as this venue is so dimly lit to start off with and management didn’t bother to Ask them to turn off the flashing lights. We weren’t the only table being disturbed by this.
The music doesn’t reflect the 1920s theme.
Staff were all very friendly and professional so kudos to them!

I was very disappointed about not getting told that they weren't doing the canapes menu. We were planing to have dinner and we couldn't and ended up scoffing lots of bread and expensive platters of meat and cheese which was not what we planed.

There’s a reason this is one of the best cocktail bars in Sydney. If you’re after a fail safe place for an excellent cocktail this is a go to. Very creative drinks on the menu but also good for a classic

Bar seating should not be an option on reservation at the moment; due to covid you don’t sit at the bar but at a big communal table on stools. Took quite a while to get a drink, they sat on a tray for about 10mins before our server brought them over. Atmosphere was cosy and warm, great decor. Fun, theatrical cocktails were the highlight.

We had a great time. The waiters were fantastic and made the experience special. AMAZING cocktails!

Great place and amazing cocktails - but it was slightly disappointing that we needed to request a booth 4 times before the host did anything about it - plus he seemed very disengaged and didn’t seem to care at all. But that guys serving and making the cocktails were absolute legends!!

Great little hidden gem! Fantastic cocktails, good food and great service!

Amazing choice of cocktails and the staff clearly are experts and love their jobs. They will happily point you in the right direction from a huge set of options. At the same time if you just want a bottle of bubbly they will do that as well.

The seating is cosy and you may have to talk to other people. A great, fun, cool night out. The brisket sliders later in the evening were just amazing and really helped prevent a huge hangover....

Spent 30mins trying to grab the waiters attention. Ended up walking out and getting a drink next door instead. We were completely ignored! Not even slightest bit of acknowledgment that someone will be with us soon. Nice bar, good ambience, but let down by really bad service!!!

A great set up here with an inventive approach to cocktails.
Supplementing this was a wonderful little menu.
Only feedback I would give is that we had a wonderful introductory experience with our cocktail connoisseur but then it just dropped off and we had to go searching for service.
I would have enjoyed it more if we were supported to further explore the cocktail menu more.

It was a good experience. Decent value overall. Cheese board was expensive.

Great little hidden away gem in darlinghurst, great feel for w hidden away bar

Very unhelpful policy where you can’t order at the bar or drink standing up. The environment was not fun at all and was actually just very stressful so we just left and went to a dive bar around the corner where we had a fantastic time (drinking while standing even).

Cons-
Could only order one drink per person at a time
Wait staff were arrogant
Wait staff spilled cocktail over phone/bag and didn’t really care
No signs outside to say where venue is
Staff member forgot food order
Food was unfortunately quite average
Waiter got angry for using the flash on my phone- ONCE, but then asked me to upload it on Instagram??

Specialty cocktails are awesome and service is amazing!
