    Not exactly the fine dining expert that we expected. We felt rushed by the staff. And the food was just average —for a hefty price. Our entrees were delivered to our table even before we had finished our first course (salads). And my filet mignon, which I had ordered medium (pink and juicy, no blood) was over cooked. More like medium well. My wife’s salmon entree was just so-so. Fleming’s has Eddie Merlot’s beaten hands down in all aspects.

    My wife and I enjoyed a very good dinner last night celebrating our 42nd anniversity! Although the restaurant was fairly crowded, the service was excellent. Our server, Zac, mentioned that he was relatively new, but showed the care and attentiveness of a veteran. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, and served piping hot.

    Took 2 hours to eat and we didn’t order dessert. There were 3 of us and we all sent our steaks back the first time. The second time I couldn’t cut through my ribeye.

    I ordered a16 oz, NY strip for my order and when it came out it was the size of the 12 oz. When I asked about when it was placed in front of me, the servers agreed that it looked like the 12 oz. and not the 16 oz I ordered. One said he even asked but was told it was 16 oz. Also, I ordered my steak medium-well but the steak I got was medium-rare. I asked for them to cook it up just a little bit and it still came back bloody all over my plate. I did not eat that $72 steak. When I saw the blood still coming out of the meat, dinner was over for me. I paid over $400 for my wife and two of my daughters to share in this special day, and left the restaurant highly disappointed and stunned. BTW: My father was an International Chef, and I’m a former Kroger manager and managed the perishable departments. The meat, seafood, produce, bakery, and deli were my domains. When I trained, you had to learn the parts of a cow, lamb, and pig. I know 12 oz when I see it. When your own staff say that the steak looks like the 12 oz, not the 16 oz, (which, btw, was the same size as my daughter’s steak), I feel some kind of way. It’s so unfortunate this wasn’t taken as serious as I felt it was.

    My mom wanted to go for Mother’s Day it was a breakfast and lunch buffet with there full menu even desserts. Food was great, server was excellent and attentive we will be back for a regular dinner service soon.

    We went for Mother's Day Brunch. Service was pleasant but not special. Food was good but not excellent. Salmon was for instance overcooked and too salty. Filet mignon though was very good and I got a rare piece. Thank you! Vegetables were mostly too buttery, were's the good olive oil? Caesar salad was nice. Desserts were ok. Coffee was good.

    Loved the meat but was surprised with the creamed corn. It was spicy hot! Dear Lord! I understand if I go to a Mexican restaurant and order enchiladas if they are hot. But to a normal steakhouse, order creamed corm and is spicy??!?! Please say so on the menu if you plan to add hot spice to something that is not supposed to have it.

    Mothers Day Brunch Buffet - Some of the food was great: beef tenderloin, lamb chops, seasoned vegetables, potatoes, rolls Some of the food was cheap/terrible: horrible pastries (mushy, dry, cheap, tasteless), poor cheap quality deserts (sheet cake, ice cream) Sone of the food was missing: no bagels/cream cheese, no smoked salmon, fewer children’s items) Cost: HUGE price increase for poorer choices, definitely not worth the price, and we’re charged $9.50 for 2 orange juices!!     We enjoy the annual Mother’s Day Brunch. The variety and quantity of food choices are excellent although we would’ve liked to have waffles and pancakes added. The Bananas-Foster was a hit though puny. As for the value, it’s difficult to justify paying such a price but…It’s Mother’s Day! :-)

    I like Eddie Merlots but I feel like this one has gotten complacent. Still great atmosphere and service, but the food was subpar and it felt like fine dining at first glance but just regular dining once you order. I hope they can get back in the swing of things!

    Quality of food and service has declined since we ate there last year. One of three steaks was not cooked to order (undercooked) and was very tough. Our waitress was very nice, but service was rather slow. Our entrees came out after a table that was sat after us by at least 15 minutes. It was slow to get our check and process our payment. Several people near us had issues too. Definitely not worth the price.

    My first time in this restaurant. We ordered few oysters half on the shell and we received all of them almost dried up, they opened them quite likely two or three hours before being served. When we started to eat the oysters we received at the same time our steaks, our table server in a polite way asked us if it was too early to receive the meat but the meat server immediately replied saying that “it is never to early for a steak!”. Clearly we were quite astonished by this act. I asked for a medium rare 12oz NY strip and I got a very rare and cold steak. After that they replaced it…..guess what? Medium! May be it was an accident but clearly we were not impressed by the service of the kitchen. Opportunities for improvements are recommended

    We celebrated my daughter’s graduation here and the service was incredible. They were able to accommodate all 16 of us with flawless service and incredible food. We felt as if the entire restaurant was ours. Thanks for hosting us. Will be back

    Our server and food were excellent. Front of house staff were atrocious. They tried to sit us at a table crammed between two other tables with maybe 6 inches between the seats. Told them we wanted something else. After whispering between each other and giving us dirty looks they finally sat us elsewhere. We love Eddie merlots but will probably not go back thanks to the blonde with the attitude and gothic woman working front of house. That being said our server who I think was named joe was excellent. Beef carpaccio and oysters rocafeller are our go to for appetizers. Drinks were delicious. The rye tiki might be my new drink of choice here. My wife and I spent 330$ and tipped 25% on top of that as we usually do. Get your front of house together Eddie merlots. 5 stars for food and service. 1 star for front of house.

    Frankly, I was disappointed. I've eaten at top-rated steakhouses throughout the country and this one would not rank in the top 30. I ordered a prime ribeye which was uncharacteristically thin and tasted good, not great. The "Eddie's Potatoes", which the waitress highly recommended - said "that's what we're known for" were just not at all good. The calamari appetizer was different - not bad, but more like beer-battered chewy onion rings than like calamari. The french onion soup was unnecessarily salty. My wife did say that her filet was excellent, but otherwise concurred with my opinions... All that said, the service was very good.

    The food was excellent my husband had filet mignon and I had blackened salmon. Our server Kyle was top notch very friendly. In fact the entire staff were very attentive. We went because of restaurant week. It was our first time there but we will definitely go back! Highly recommend
