   My steak was not cooked medium well both times it was presented to me. At first the second one was on the corner but the more I cut into it, after the manager left, the bloodier it got. Both were almost medium rare. Disappointing, considering the price and the quality that I was expecting from i higher end steak house.

   Pretty disappointed. The steaks were over-cooked likely because the cuts of meat were so thin. Have eaten here several times and if I’m going to pay $50-75 for a steak it better be worth it. It appears inflation has hit here too.

   We enjoyed a gourmet anniversary dinner at Merlot’s We were pleasantly seated at a romantic booth and were presented with a happy anniversary card, signed by the staff, which is a very nice touch. Kyle, then introduced himself kindly told us that he would give us time to enjoy our drink before dinner, which we appreciated. My burnt orange Manhattan was superb and my wife enjoyed her berry white martini. My wife opted for oysters as her appetizer followed by osso bucco, which was a generous portion and carefully seasoned. I opted for the seafood bouillabaisse which was generously laden with shrimp, mussels, clams, and scallops. The broth was rich, but a bit salty for me incredible. All the same. Kyle was very attentive and helpful. Erick the manager also visited our table twice and was very professional. We will be back!

   Went for happy hour. Enjoyed the $8 cocktails immensely. Odd criticism: the happy hour menu items are too large. We ordered the filet and French dip sliders. With the fries/chips accompanying we were full. I’d like to sample more of the main items. Service was amazing, could not have been better.

    Food was mediocre, definitely not the best steakhouse in the Cincinnati area. Our service wasn’t up to par either. Our waiter forgot multiple items, including putting in our child’s food order. We were compensated for the kids meal and desserts.

    The food was just OK, service was slow. We usually visit the restaurant a couple times a year and last nights visit was our worst experience. Not on par with spending $300.00 for a dinner for two.

    Always have good time at Eddie's, food is always good. Service was fine nothing outstanding but good. Stakes and apps are very good, tried a soup this time and that was not great. However, always have good time at Eddie Merlot's.

    The service was top notch. The calamari was somewhat oily and I thought the dipping sauces were all too sweet. The grilled romaine salad was good, but salty in places. My bouillabaisse was delicious! My husband’s braised short rib was dry. It needed more sauce and moisture in the meat. We both loved our creme brûlée!! We would definitely return to try other menu items and to experience the exceptional service we received!

    Everything was perfect! Table location (wall half round booth)~server (Joe)~Meal (amazing). Celebrated a big birthday, and this restaurant made the celebration experience “over the top”! Thank you everyone, was not a disappointment.

    Outstanding service! The vegetables are oily and the salad was made with iceberg lettuce. Antiquated health standards regarding ingredients. For those who like meat and don’t have high health standards, this is still a solid dinner choice.

    Everything was very nice as usual. We celebrated our friends 85th birthday. There was a card for her on our table wishing her a Happy Birthday. A nice gesture. Than at the end of a delicious meal gave her a complimentary cream brûlée with a candle. Also had their French Press coffee, which is always superb. The waiter that we always have was very attentive as usual. Just a very happy night

    Sat by the door, music was bothersome, service started out great then the server disappeared. Food was warm to old, white wine was warm. Not a good night. Wont go back for quite awhile.

    We have usually had good experiences at Eddie Merlot’s last night, my husband’s steak was very poorly cooked, an incredibly thin and fatty cut. My sauce was far too salty and while my first drink was wonderful, the second and third were so sour they were undrinkable. Our waiter was pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the food that evening.

    It was one of the most delicious dinners we have had in a long time! The quality and preparation of the dinners was superb, and the flavors were all perfectly aligned. Our server, Jo was absolutely delightful. She was competent, attentive and friendly.

    Great drink option, especially liked blueberry mojito and ruby red spritz. French onion soup is amazing. We had Mojo shrimp and scallops and trio of medallions with Eddie's brussel sprouts with bacon, all were delicious and highly recommended. Of course topped the meal off with Carrot cake.

    After sitting down and our waiter filling our water glasses the service was incredibly poor. We ordered a bottle of wine, which took far longer than it should have, as we watched our waiter chat up and enjoy a glass of wine at another table. We then ordered our food and requested bread which didn’t come until after our meals were delivered. We also waited around 10 minutes to be delivered steak knives after receiving our meals, at which time my wife cut into her steak and found it to be significantly under cooked. They took the steak back and tried to correct the issue. When the meal was returned the presentation was less than appealing, it tasted as if it were reheated in a microwave and was still severely under cooked. At no point did our waiter come back to see if it was corrected and only came by to clear the table. Mistakes happen and we completely understand that but for the price that you pay for a place like this we will not be returning, the food was nothing to write home about (when edible) and the service is the worst I have experienced in this high end of a restaurant.

    Our food was DELICIOUS. Our group had the yellowfin tuna, bison ribeye, blackened salmon, and one of the chef's special steaks. YUM! Joe is an outstanding server...very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. It is pricey, but a GREAT choice for special occasions.

    Service extremely slow. Meal was just not up to par. Need new management or something. Was a fairly regular customer until recently. Heard that service and good had not been up to par. Thought I would try it for myself and going that service and quality of good were not good. Very disappointed. Had business customers in town from Texas, Connecticut and Florida. Not pleased
