Food and service was great!
The food was horrible and had no taste at all , service was alright and the drinks were good

Food had no flavor. Asked for spicy guacamole got no help. Pork soup was Awful had bones in it. Not spicy.

Absolutely horrible experience. Food was inedible and the service was horrendous. Walked out spending $150 hungry because no one ate their food it was so bad. Steak was all fat, chicken was chewy and shrimp tasted fishy and days old.

It was a Birthday celebration everyone was happy with the meal and Mariachis! The drinks were strong and excellent. The only complaint was my friends dish came with a very very hot pepper and she nearly choked after biting into it. Not cool they should put all hot peppers on the side and tell you because not everyone likes hot peppers. Honestly it was the only downer of the night.
The special dishes are great as I had one in my first visit. My second visit I had chicken quesadillas - very plain. Every appetizer ordered has been great.
Overall, We had a great evening! The food was great, generous portions..the only issue that I had was that there was an issue with the draft beer...something was wrong with the system and I had to have bottled beer-not that big of deal!

The food sucked. The waiter dropped all the dishes and got food and sauce on me and then blamed the table. They didn’t do anything about it. Didn’t comp the food, nothing. The best thing about that place was the margarita. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. Agave in wallington is better.

Apps were all frozen that they pop in fryer. A few if us ordered fajitas and hardly any meat but plenty of peppers and onions and took a while to get the tortillas for the fajitas. In general service was very slow and it was a Thursday night. Also tip automatically added to check.

Delicious food, friendly staff, plenty of seating outside. Indoor dining was very spaced out as well.
I live an hour away but have passed this restaurant many times and have always wanted to try it. But it's a one and done for us. Went with hubby and one daughter. I ordered regular margarita on rocks with salt. It came without salt but I didn't even say anything because not worth the trouble. Wings appetizer was yummy so we had high hopes. But the Rest of the meal was just ok. We had shrimp and skirt steak fajitas (Mar y Tierra), a chicken Burrito, and a Grilled Salmon. Rice and black beans. Everything seemed to lack seasoning and was just blah. I have been to many other Mexican restaurants that I would prefer.
Food and staff were very good. The portions were plentiful. Adult drinks were very good!!! Nice night out and I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food. I enjoyed it.

We requested an outdoor table and we enjoyed our family luncheon.
They charged us $35 for a margarita. Added mini bottles without request and overcharged is. When we tried to say something they pretended not to understand. The waitstaff was not helpful at all. The quesadillas were nothing to write home about and neither was the guacamole. No need to visit this restaurant.

Hice mi reservación con tiempo para una mesa adentro del establecimiento para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hija y nos sentaron afuera en una mesa muy sola y apartada. No me senti comoda no fue lo que pedi. De no haber habido espacio cuando reserve, hubieran dejado saber, para celebrar en otro lugar donde pudieramos haber disfrutado el ambiente.
Terrible service. Below average food. Disappointing given the lack of great Mexican options in Bergen County
One and done. You can get the same food at a restaurant that has far better service.
Entrees came with appetizers. Rice and beans were cold. Waited endlessly for the check. I think everyone's heart was in the right place but they had no idea how to execute.
After many times been at el asidero, the horrible service and the more than one hour waiting with nobody coming to the table until we have to leave without eating and letting our waiter know about it, make it wonder if I should keep coming back to this place.
Food lacked some seasoning and the margarita pitchers were more like juice. But the restaurant itself was nice service was friendly. Clean. my daughter got a kick out of the birthday saddle.

Nice lively spot, safe distance was respected. Kevin, our server, was both friendly and attentive! Outdoor dining under a huge tent provided ambience, music, and decent food. Make a reservation.

Very sad. 3x I have been there and this time was horrible. We sat immediately but it took our waiter 18 minutes to come to us. Then he got our drinks wrong, we ask for more chips took another 14 minutes. Then took our food order. Waited 30 minutes for food and it was wrong food. Seriously chicken finger took that long. A burrito took that long. Soup took that long. Wanna another drink. Waited on that. We there for 2 hours. Then finally had a chance to order desert. Omg! 20 minutes on chirros n coffee. Manager apologized. But our waiter was horrible. If I should go again will not have the guy waiter for us. Nope no way.
