Bienvenidos a El Norte!

Spanish Restaurant & Bar located in Dover street, the heart of Mayfair. Bringing the most popular dishes from Spain with a modern twist. Signature dishes include truffle tortilla, creamy croquettes, Joselito Iberico Ham, premium "Vaca rubia Gallega" steak... and many more! The wine menu has a selection of Spanish awarded labels carefully selected to accompany our dishes.

A beautiful bar with irresistible Spanish crafted cocktails including a selection of home-made Sangrias with premium Spanish wine or champagne.

    Our first time today at El Norte and we had a very enjoyable dinner! Food is very tasty with a large choice of dishes, service is very attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely come back soon to sample more from their menu!

    I read a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant but for me it was an ok. Food was not bad but not wow too sweet everything has a sweet flavor to it and they use goat cheese a lot. One time experience for me. Food portion was big and we ordered a lot but the waiter never told us that it’s a lot for us.

    Great food and service. However the wine list is HIGHWAY ROBBERY Take your own wine but make it count as their corkage fee is the price of thwir cheapest wine 55 quid

    I was looking forward having an octopus dish, as it was my favourite I had there before, but I felt a bit disappointed as was not good as the one I had previously also much much smaller.

    Very good experience! This restaurant was in my list for a while, but bookings need to be done in advance, in particular weekends. The interior of the venue is beautiful, the food is high-end Spanish, which in my opinion was a 9 out 10, so pretty good! The service was very attentive and welcoming. Will be coming back soon!

    For the high prices charged the food is very average and lacked seasoning . Mains come with no accompaniment!. No invention or creativity for the prices charged …. Very basic Spanish food . Service a bit amateur for the prices as well.

    Made us wait for 20 min on arrival for no reason. Several empty tables. Food mediocre Very strange crowd No real ambiance Main courses for £50+. Unreasonable for the food they deliver. Good reason why so easy to book a table on Saturday night 15 min in advance. Avoid.

    This place is absolutely fantastic. It’s been a while since I was impressed like I was with this restaurant. The food is sublime, original and fresh, and the service right on point, friendly but not intrusive. I can’t wait to come back!!

    Food was good - not great value. Service was super friendly but a little chaotic and slow we had to chase for the drinks. Bathrooms were horrible - awful smell and no running water in ladies.

    My second visit after an excellent first experience. Was shown to a table in the bar area for a drink. Waited for 15 minutes to get a drink but no service so then wandered through to the dining section and shown to our table. Food was excellent, but service was sporadic at best and we kept having to attract the attention of serving staff, who seemed too few in number. A big noisy table next to us almost ruined the evening. Instead they were just a major irritant.
