Roof Garden at Pantechnicon
Absolutely incredible! The food, the service, the environment was phenomenal! Will definitely come back
We had a wonder time, the place and the staff are wonderful
Not a place for special occasion celebration. The staff was below par.
There were 50 waiter but was impossible for them to bring sushi in the roof bar
Very creative food with good combination of ingredients, yet simple and delicious
Gorgeous setting, beautiful marriage of Japanese & Scandi food.
Great food served in beautiful setting.
Food design and menu are lovely, good quality and very flavoursome. Service is touch and go, friendly and engaging, but lacking in awareness, drinks arrived after 3 requests and a long way after the food started to arrive. After a waiter accidentally spilt a cocktail on one of us the manager made a good recovery with appropriate apologies.
Warm greeting, very good gin, good advice on food choices. We had 2 smorrebrod and both had a cod large plate and all were a wonderful flavour sensation. We finished with the jurrs cheese. Which was very unusual and so good!! Lovely simple decor and a buzzing and relaxed atmosphere.
The roof garden was nice with the refreshing cocktails options and dont miss out the food. We had the cod and the whiskey drop dessert was unforgettable. Amazing services too without rushing us from drinks to order food
It was a lovely venue and staff were really friendly. Despite being super hot day it was a beautiful location and the food and cocktails was amazing!
Food actually very special.
The girl from the front desk was really kind, even when our table was inside she managed to find a better table for me and my friends.
Absolutely superb, loved it. Thanks for a great time
Food was absolutely delicious - superb. I couldn't pick the best dish we ate, everything was amazing.
Great venue in Mayfair and sublime food. The grilled lettuce is something else!
The roof terrace is beautiful, but on a 28 degree day it was just too hot! I’m sure it would have been perfect on a normal London day though :). Both the food and the service were wonderful. We had the fennel bread (👌🏻), halibut salad (so tender and refreshing), shrimp and crab open sandwich (small but very tasty 🦀), and the steak was so tender and the lettuce on the side was the perfect accompaniment. Also recommend the Honey Lavender Spritz.
The atmosphere is nice when seating outside. Overall service was okay, not exceptional though. We didn’t feel we were looked after. The food was also very tasty, though not value for money.
Beautiful on a warm evening and very tasty food. But the portions are ridiculously small, like laughable.
Music was also too loud and wrong for the outdoor setting.
Very squashed in
Smoker to my left and dog
Sniffing round my feet in the right!
Wouldn’t rush back
Stunning food in a very attractive light and airy setting. Delicious and unusual combination of flavours. Very sunny day so we sat inside to escape the heat but still felt almost outside. Delightful and very helpful staff. Don’t miss the shops on the lower floors displaying beautiful Nordic and Japanese products.
I went there with a friend for a bottle of prosecco and cocktails. Everything was lovely apart from a hostess lady at the entrance who seems not to welcome us. I assume perhaps we arrived at 9.30 when the kitchen was closing at 10 pm. She looks better after we confirmed that we only came for a drink. The staffs and our table were excellent.
Very nice vibe, service! We loved the cocktails!
Service is slow and although friendly enough. Perhaps this could be improved 1) co-ordinate drink with food (our wine came much later main courses were served) 2) either giving more info on the menu so customers know how food is cooked or service staff who take orders should know about dishes. 3) smoking policy, as it's Covid and the tables are relatively closed together, it would be good if there is a non-smoking policy for the outdoor rooftop. Food: the desert (Brioche, cherry, rye whiskey) is not so good, like bread soak in some kind of water and whiskey was poured so the texture of the brioche is soft. Does not work for our liking at all, so not worth the money for £10 too. Total bill for 2 people £120, we do not think it's worth the re-visit at least not for food.
Brilliant evening great place we will be back thank you
Fabulous cocktails, wonderful location and a beautiful terrace
PANTECHNICON is such a unique destination. The seamless blend of Japanese and Nordic culture, products and cuisine make Pantechnicon one-of-a-kind.
We sat in the beautifully designed rooftop terrace and enjoyed cocktails. The owner came over, welcomed us and shared the inspiration and design concept of Pantechnicon.
I can’t wait to try the new Japanese restuarant, SACHI, opening next week.
Excellent interiors and perfect location to create decadent wanting vibe.
Need to add more vegetarian options.
Pretty setting. But disappointing cocktails and bland desserts. Bad acoustics despite being outdoors, our conversation kept getting drowned out by laughter from different tables quite far away, should not happen in an outdoor space!
outstanding location, service, atmosphere and food. we will be back many times.
Whilst the food was excellent, the service was extremely slow.
We were probably the oldest people there but it was lively and we all greatly enjoyed it.
Amazing service, beautiful rooftop and lovely building. The food was delicious and drinks really interesting and unique. Was quite expensive so would save for a special occasion!
A Nice and chic place to go for cocktails and other drinks.
Really lovely, modern Scandinavian food with a focus on authentic ingredients…
None of us were that convinced by the drinks, but both food and setting made up for it!
Great food and nice atmosphere
Great food and professional, friendly staff. The wine was disappointing though.
Lovely atmosphere and set up, but too loud and with all the windows open cigarette smoke kept wafting indoors from the balcony. Bit draughty too.
Very limited menu.Menu items have no explanation of ingredients.I can’t eat eggs so that my menu reduced to just three items.Tables small and chairs most uncomfortable in London.Example halibut with cumin and gooseberry was raw halibut cut so thin you could see through it if you could find any on your plate. Al though table was on roof garden they were very close together and noise levels excessive.Portions very small and prices very high .I will not be returning here. For what we had £153 including one single gin and two glasses of modest wine can’t help feeling Ripped off!
Absolutely fab food and drinks but wine lisr is over the top expensive.
Kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday. Made the mistake of not checking before visiting. Chose this place due to the attraction of the Japanese whisky for my partner to try on his birthday so food wasn’t an issue. We didn’t receive the whisky menu initially and ordered a couple of drinks before asking for the menu. Menu was given and half an hour passed and still our drinks order hadn’t taken. Poor attention from the staff and wouldn’t recommend. Felt like we weren’t very welcome to this bar and didn’t fit in with the usual clientele.
Terrace is lovely, food is good not much choice on menu, great drinks, would go again for bar and drinks rather than food
