Food was average, took quite a lot of time to get the food. They did have some complimentary foods for the delay. People are nice and nice restaurant, but food was average. Felt a bit too much expensive for the food that we got. Overall, it was nice place. But wasn’t too good.

Fabulous food with a wide selection. Would recommend Chicken Kathu Roti and the crab curry is delicious!

We were phoned before our dinner and asked if we’d mind being seated in the outside area. We were assured that it was heated and nicely presented. When we arrived our table was on such an angle it was awkward to sit and balance our meals. It was also freezing cold as the single heater was located at one end that didn’t heat the whole tent. The waitress assigned to our area was obviously overwhelmed and failed to take drink orders or clear our table! Interesting she did find time to flirt constantly with a man on the table next to ours and chatted with him for a solid 15 minutes while we waited to place our coffee orders. In the end the bad service and freezing conditions made us decide to skip coffee and dessert and leave early. To top things off we were then given the wrong bill and had to sort out a nightmare situation with payment. This whole experience was extremely disappointing considering it was a dinner organised to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were so embarrassed! Not good enough Elephant Corridor!!! 😡

Delicious food and great service. My only issue was that they did not have available one of their main sambols listed on the menu, and this was on a Saturday night.

A pleasant experience. The food is authentic and flavoursome. The staff are friendly and attentive, particularly in light of current Covid safety circumstances. Would recommend this for those seeking out a Subcontinental dining experience in the outer eastern suburbs.

Food was very nice, my husband said his meal was the best butter chicken he had ever had. The music was a little loud but apart from that we really enjoyed it.

We were so glad to be out again and the Elephant Corridor provided a most enjoyable evening, the food was lovely and the service excellent. We did feel the music too loud early on but they did tone it down upon our request. So all good.

The food was really good. We had the Jaffna crab and tanduri chicken. Everything was perfect...the waralappan was good, however could have been improved with spices to get the original favour.

It was hard to convince my friends to go there at first! But everything was so nice that they thanked me a lot for suggesting the place. The presentation and quality of food is great, staff are quite friendly. It's just a bit noisy.

The food was good, but everytime somebody coming in and telling us that we have to order mains fast as the table is reserved for next person too, was really really annoying. I mean if I am spending $150+ for two people I need my time and space. We sat there for a total of 1.5 hours and been reminded about the next reservation 4-5 times. I mean is this for real?? Definitely not visiting again, as I don't like to shovel my food.

Food was amazing, was a little cramped inside but would not stop me coming back. Lovely staff.

We had a great night out, 1st time since the Covid shutdown so it was good just to go out to dinner. The staff were very attentive and the food was sublime especially the prawn entree.

The restaurant should either alter it's entrance to enable a wheelchair to be driven into it or get a 2 feet ramp which can be bought on eBay for less than 100.00.
I was also told that the wash room was not disabled friendly and if this fine super duper restaurant wants to cater for the disabled like me they should endeavour to get these shortcomings resolved.

What a delicious meal! Everything was wonderful but my favourite was definitely the jackfruit curry and the chicken kothu! Will definitely be back :)

We are a big fan of Elephant Corridor , the food is delicious, the service is very friendly.

This time, the mild butter chicken was a bit spicy, so the 8 year old could only eat the fried rice and roti. Last time it was not at all spicy.

A local, which we always thoroughly enjoy! The food and service never disappoints!

Food and service was great ... very helpful floor staff who were only too happy to offer suggestions when asked.
Bathrooms could do with some attention however ... they need a good clean. Lots of flies around the bathroom too which was unpleasant.

Disappointed as the service standards have dropped and some of the dishes were really dropped standard too. Few years back I used to love coming to your restaurant that had great atmosphere, attentive staff and fabulous food. Need to do something to change

Such an authentic dining experience and great atmosphere. Lion lager is worth a try as well!

Too loud music spoilt what was otherwise a good evening. We met friends for a meal and to catch up and this was almost impossible.

It was a wonderful evening spent at EC. Food and the service is really good. Love to be there again.

Definately the best Sri Lankan restaurant I have been to in Melbourne.
