The food was simply not good. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and that was definitely the best part of the experience.

Every table we touched on the same night you dined was ecstatic about our food, with the highest of reviews, so I would like to know what you ordered. We had a nice Evening out, read the Reviews prior and wanted to give a fair chance. Not sure if they are going for a 5 star review, if so, they will need to change up the Dinning Area.
I felt like I was in a Walk in Diner, no separation of tables to give the feeling of a private Experience. Simple things can be done and they are new and we all have learning curves.
Food was Good and Cooked the way we ordered it, Service was a little on the Low side. Waiter needs some Peep in his Step and learn how to converse with the Customer.
We will come back and in hope that they look at their reviews and make some small but very helpful changes.

We are kind of bound by the limitations of the building itself, but we are expanding operations rapidly. We have a family approach to things, and want everyone to feel warm and welcomed and converse with other tables to meet new people. We will be building our "flight deck" soon, and this will allow for more intimate areas to dine and relax. Please come again!
Delicious filet mignon. Excellent service. Recently opened and appeared to still be completing some work outside. Will eventually be a beautiful outdoor setting.

We felt duped! The pictures and menu prices lead you to believe this is a fine dining restaurant, it is not! The ambiance is closer to that of a casual grill at a public golf course. We thought looks could be deceiving when we liked the honey butter for the bread and enjoyed our appetizer. However, my ribeye was burnt and tasted more like a sirloin with gristle that hadn’t been cut off. My husband’s sea bass and our sides were okay, nothing spectacular. Our server was disheveled and not very personable. It was our anniversary, so the restaurant will spread rose petals on the table for the occasion. This would be a nice touch if our waiter hadn’t forgotten to do it until mid way through the meal when he clumsily dropped the petals on the table. For what you pay, the value isn’t there. We left very disappointed and a little confused by the whole experience.
Hello Anonymous: It is very difficult to take your review seriously with no name involved in the review, so please respond to me directly to me. Ribeye steaks are a very high in content protein with a lot of marbling (fatty tissue). They also have an eye lobe. If the price point does not agree with your needs, I apologize, but I can 100% guarantee you that for what we excel at pricing on our menus, our service, and the value. Second visit. Rainy Saturday evening that we were told that they had numerous cancelations so the noise level was just fine for the both of us. Appetizer's were very good as were the entries. Our bottle of wine was chilled and was very enjoyable. Service was attentive and not overbearing. The young lady did a great job, thank you.
I have one complaint on both visits. Bartender(owners son) uses a jigger to portion cocktails. When you pay a premium for appetizers and entrees I believe you should give the customer a better proportion cocktail.
Now I noticed the elevation signs in the dining room. Dam are they ugly. You call yourself a chop house by having a few cuts of beef. I just don't see it. Rename yourself and go farm to table with listing local vendors as well as you kitchen personal.

We were staying at Skylaranna for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, with the reviews I saw I thought it would be a good idea to have dinner onsite... Unfortunately we were left very disappointed and hungry. First we went with a special bottle of Champagne(that we had been saving) and my husband had flutes engraved as a gift. We were told they did not offer a corking fee so we had to put everything back in the room, we were also given a poor explanation about licenses(which my husband has over 25yrs in the industry so we were the wrong people to say that to) which was untrue. We didn’t order any other drinks... On to our meal, salad was okay, bread was fine, but our entrees were not. My filet was charred, and the sides were not very good. My husbands was extremely fishy tasting and he might have had two bites and while we prob should have complained after the champagne we just didn’t feel like it... They did give us complimentary boozy ice cream as an apology but we didn’t like that either. Our server was not friendly and the ambience is severely lacking-no real theme or identity. Definitely not our ideal anniversary meal but we had a few other meals in Hendersonville that were excellent while we were visiting.
It is 100% correct that by state law you cannot bring your own food and beverage into our dining areas. This is quite common in most states and every state I personally have worked in. We do not offer corkage as we have close to a 150 bottle wine selection. All of our food gets some of the highest reviews possible, so my apologies if you did not enjoy your meal. However several people checked on your table to insure everything was fine. Myself, I have been in the industry over 30 years.
This was our first visit to Elevations but it will not be our last. Both the food and service were outstanding. We took advantage of a lovely evening and were able to get a table on the patio. It’s a bit out of the way but we’ll worth the trip.

Multiple items off menu unavailable. Menu was different than posted online. 1 out of 3 items ordered was good. The the crab fondue was nacho cheese with can crash meat on top and bags nacho chips and the $50 porterhouse steak was 75% inedible. On a good note the filet mignon was tasty, though undercooked to request, and the cocktail was good. Though the cocktail did not come with advertised garnishments. Over all, very disappointing and over priced.

The food was outstanding. They are having some growing pains since they just opened and are training staff, but nothing major and nothing that detracts from having a great evening. They are in the process of changing their menu. We have been there twice and the food has been exceptional.

This place is out of the way, about 30 minutes from Asheville. What a wonderful hidden gem! Recently opened, July 2020, the views are stupendous.
We had a great meal. When we were seated the brought over their bread plate. Boy, was that butter a surprise - sweet with their honey from the property. We started with their fig and prosciutto flat bread. It had the perfect amount of tangy goat cheese, figs and a honey drizzle!! I had the rack of lamb over pea and parsnip risotto. The lamb was cooked perfectly! The risotto was flavorful and perfect.
The Hubs had the sea bass. He said it was the best he's ever had. The fish was served over whipped potatoes with green beans and capers.
They had several in house made PROOF ice creams. Hubs had peach-bourbon. I chose to have their interpretation of a s'more. Delicious gram cake, with a chocolate molten center. Topped with marshmallow cream and carmel ice cream.
Can't wait to come back and see how the property changes as they add more ammenities.....the food is fabulous already!

This was our second visit to the restaurant. They had added noise suppression since our first visit. Still a little too loud but much better.

We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Place looked a little different from their photos in the website. Our server Mark seemed to be tired and not very energetic around 7:00 PM for dinner or maybe having a bad day. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. My wife wanted a blackened Mahi Mahi but they were out of that so got the Grouper instead but again nothing extraordinary. I ordered. Petite Filet Mignon but didn’t expect it to be that small. The server didn’t even ask about how I wanted it cooked just brought it out at medium heat which was again good but not great (I usually get mines medium rare). The Seafood Chowder was also good but nothing too special. They did bring a slice of regular cheesecake for my wife and the server came out with some rose petals to lay them on the table along with the slice of cake in front of her. Slightly unexpected but pleasant touch towards the end. I would give my overall score as 4 out of 5 stars and that would be very generous!

The food, although pricey, was excellent as was the service. We sat outside on the back patio so it was quiet with a lovely view (if you overlook the construction improvements)

This place is a little gem in a beautiful rural setting. The server, Mark, was informative and attentive. The food was excellent, especially the Blue Crab Fondue appetizer, the Mahi-Mahi and the Chocolate Souffle! A great choice for celebrating our anniversary.

Restaurant was not crowded but a table near us was a 5 top and they were enjoying themselves. Made the room a little loud. Service was great. Food was good but not outstanding. Sadly no atmosphere even with the scattered rose petals at our table (nice touch though).

Noise level was horrible. I will not go back until that is corrected. I could not converse with my dinner partner.
My partner had the small filet and that was good. I had the Porterhouse pork chop. The meat was very tough and difficult to cut and eat. For the price charged, the value was not there.

We can absolutely correct things instantly in regards to food and service, and this is the first issue we have ever heard of in regards to our Porterhouse Pork Chop, so I will look into it immediately. Decidedly average or below in many ways. The help seemed more interested in flirting or talking to each other rather than serving. Stake salad was very good though the presentation was not well thought out. Trying to cut the stake on top of a bed of lettuce on a fairly shallow plate resulted in much of the salad sliding off the plate on to the table or below. I could go on but overall we were not impressed in many ways.

Delicious food creatively prepared. Great cocktail! Decadent chocolate dessert. Dined outside with a lovely long distance view. Some construction near the hotel but no noise at night. Most diners socially distanced and wore masks.

We reserved a table on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a very delicious meal al fresco. The waitstaff was extremely pleasant and the chef was generous in making substitutions for main courses and side orders.

The noise level was so high it was difficult hearing the person across from me and next to me at our table. Too loud. Something needs to be done to dampen the noise level. Otherwise, great food, good service, very nice area.

New restaurant that is going to do great things based on the way they have started. We were celebrating our anniversary which they acknowledged when we checked in and then with dessert to end the meal. My Wagyu steak was amazing and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork chop. Everything about the food and service was 5 star but the ambiance is not in line with the food, service, or pricing. Doesn't feel like fine dining but I'd go back anyway.

Fantastic food with a wide choice. Loved the vibe of the hotel and restaurant. I was alone and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying myself. I’ll be back.
Will return good brunch. Buffet area was crowded, I would suggest moving the omelette station to the dining room for better flow.
The food was very good, but not good enough to overcome the horrible ambience. Basically one big open room with a light fixture hung down the middle. Very noisy. Definitely not a place you would ever want to go on a date. It's the kind of room where I'd feel most comfortable eating BBQ in the middle of the day. Not the space for an expensive dinner.

Elevations has great potential and is part of the new Skylarrana Resort. Our meal was overall very good however the first chowder course did not meet expectations as it was so thick and full of potatoes that the seafood taste was lost. Entrees were very good and nicely presented. The dining room is very nice with a fantastic view however the ambiance of the dining room could be greatly improved for the experience that they are trying to create. The lighting was very bright and took away from the vibe they wish for...while that lighting is perfectly fine for daylight hours it was glaring in the evening and created a sterile environment. For us we would not return for dinner.
The waiter station that has their back-up supplies sits open in the dining room at the entrance and suggest creating a wait station that has a divider and in a quite corner.
A few plants would add a nice warmer touch as well. Mark was an excellent waiter and service was impeccable. These comments are not meant to be critical but with some simple changes it could be a very elegant dining option in the Hendersonville and Flat Rock area...

First experience here and was overall happy. I got the SeaBass and it was perfectly cooked and really good.
Was a little disappointed with the overall ambiance but it was still okay. Love good food and will def. be back to try their steak.

Food and service were good. Since still under construction, the views were definitely not great. For the type of restaurant, I was surprised at the decor and lighting. Very bright and plain. The parking lot was thick loose gravel and difficult to navigate. Friendly staff. Enjoyable dinner.

Our group had the sammon, chicken marsala, and the ribeyes. Deserts were cherries jubilee with moonshine and the flourless tort I think it was called. We had drinks, beer and wine to compliment dinner. 5 stars. It was fantastic. Go there!

No ambience. Extremely loud and only 1/2 full due Covid. Good food, nice menu and large portions. Advertised crostini with fondue and came with blue corn tortilla chips instead. Didn’t clear table before dessert and had mentioned in my reservation that it was a birthday and didn’t even get a Happy Birthday from the staff.
