Elite Five Sushi & Grill
Good sushi that’s been lacking in Princeton. Keep up the good work.
Very good food, well prepared. The sushi is delicious.
Food excellent and fresh tasting. But the gluten free mango desert was the absolute best.
Interesting menu so other choices might have made for a better experience. The yakatori was OK (at best) but overpriced.
Creative & Unusual Specialty Rolls! The sushi tacos were amazing. We will be back!
We came for lunch for the first time and were impressed. Although it was very quiet, we liked the ambiance and décor and loved the fact that the kitchen was so open; we could see how our food was being prepared.
The menu provided many choices; we loved everything from the special sushi rolls, the ramen and teriyaki.
One of the best new restaurants in Princeton!
Excellent sushi! Best in town.
Having a hankering for Japanese food, I searched for something interesting in the area. I was surprised to find this restaurant at the former Princeton Medical Center site, but I’m glad I did. Excellent food, great presentation, nice ambiance (although maybe too small as they’re discovered). Yakitori is a bit pricey, but very tasty and perfectly prepared.
Very nice. Good food and not noisy.
Building has a beautiful interior. Dishes have a creative combination of flavors and top quality presentation.
Menu could easily be pared-down. Pricing is a bit high, but totally worth it if you take advantage of BYOB.
Excellent sushi. Interesting menu.
Best sushi I’ve had in the Princeton area. On a par with some of the best places in NYC. Only place I could find locally that has fresh Toro.
So glad we found this place through Open Table as it’s a little further down Witherspoon St than we’ve been. Fantastic food and service. Our group enjoyed the Yakitori, rice bowl and sushi (Elite Five Maki roll is fantastic). Great lunch.
Staff made the night special! Loved it!
Excellent sushi. Best in town!
Great food and service. Enjoyed our meal and staff was very attentive.
Been twice with my family and have not been disappointed. The dishes are high quality and very creative. It’s also BYOB which makes this hidden gem more affordable. Princeton has needed this high quality pan Asian sushi restaurant.
My wife and I decided to try out Elite Five for our anniversary dinner. It was Friday night, and the place was busy, but not crowded or noisy. The service was friendly and very helpful. The only minor issue was that initially when the restaurant was at its busiest the service seemed slightly slow, but that was understandable. The food was excellent. We tried a variety of dishes from the cured salmon starter, yakitori, to their signature maki. We thought it was all excellent, with the yakitori as stand-out. And finally mango dessert (on the house when they learned that it was our anniversary dinner). All in all, a very enjoyable experience!
We debated trying this restaurant because it has such a wide menu in addition to sushi. Sometimes this can mean the sushi suffers. We were so glad we tried it. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner came around and spoke to all of the diners and explained his concept. By the time we left, the place was full of and there was a wait. We will definitely be back.
Not only is the Sushi and Sashimi excellent but there are a number on non-Japanese dishes that are outstanding.
Thanks so much for giving us a chance and for reviewing us. We really appreciate it
