Elite Five Sushi & Grill
Sushi is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! This has become my favorite sushi spot in the area.
The best sushi I have ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Food and atmosphere was fantastic! Great experience, food was fresh service was great. Will be going again soon!
Really enjoyed our salad (crispy apple) and 3 maki rolls. Fresh and tasty. We're looking forward to coming back and trying other maki rolls as well as entrees.
Service was good. Our only complaint was the temperature of the restaurant; too cold.
The food was excellent, well distanced and private seating. Service was a bit slow but overall fantastic meal and will definitely be back
Been here twice now the food is awesome. The service the first time I figured maybe is because of covid. Now after the second time it’s obvious that much more should be done to match the food which is amazing only the service is lacking unfortunately.
I’ll come back for the food just don’t expect good service such a shame. Also important to note it is BYOB. Which we noticed before both visits so plan accordingly.
Amazing food do not let the service get in the way of that.
Everything about this place was authentic and delicious. The attention to detail was amazing. Even the miso soup was great- (I can’t remember miso soup ever sparking a conversation!) I came for pork ramen which was fabulous and not too spicy-just perfect. My husband got the skewers which were melt-in-your-mouth and the sushi set for lunch was the perfect amount. Each piece of tuna, salmon and yellowtail sushi was top notch. The salmon avocado roll was so creamy and fresh. My family has declared this their new favorite sushi and we will be traveling the 35 minutes each way because it was that memorable. The prices were reasonable and staff was super friendly. It was one of those meals that you are sad when it is over because each bite was so good. Can’t wait to go back.
Nice family dinner excellent food
Food was tasty. Elk presented no service was very good it is here the old princeton hospital used to be. We had sushi sashimi sampler, with Nori Taco, yellowtail roll and the 5 yakitori. Total was $75 dollars. Very reasonable for the quality. Will definitely go back.
A little bit out of the middle of downtown Princeton but worth the walk! Excellent food and service.
Amazing food and ambiance
Excellent lunch, been there twice. Fresh, tasteful, attentive
We really enjoyed our dinner! The food had a unique flare and was prepared perfectly. My husband ordered all most all the starters on the menu and we enjoyed them all, however, that did not leave room for much more. We did have two types of sushi roles that we very good as well. We will definitely be going back in the near future! Also service was top notch and the ambiance was perfect for a date night!
Best Asian food. Just Yumm
Sat outside , it wasn’t cold even next to heaters. Food was good . Very expensive .
Amazing food and service
Eating outside seems quite safe. The tables are very well spaced. The heaters they use are effective and give a candle lit ambience.
Food was great! Seafood was extremely fresh and Tony was very kind and attentive!
A very varied menu. It’s not just sushi. The sushi was very good and the sashimi dinner was a good value. I had heard the Restaurant was overpriced. May be slightly but this Restaurant is a welcome addition to the Princeton area.
We dined at Elite Five recently and our dinner was exceptional. We started with the Cheese Bites and Dynamite Duo followed by an Elite Five Maki roll and sushi. Gabbie our server was exceptional and extremely friendly. Tony the owner stopped by to chat with us a bit. For those who are unaware they are located where the old Princeton Hospital was on the far end by the parking garage. The Meeting House is at the front of the building Street side. We are planning our next visit back! p.s. they are BYOB!
Went here to celebrate our son’s birthday. Food was excellent and very fresh. Service was fantastic and they made great use of the outdoor dining space. Bonus for being a BYO. Looking forward to a return trip.
Elite Five is a very nice place with a dynamic menu. The outdoor dining was a little bit too chilly for fall. Indoor dining was perfect temperature.
We had such high hopes for this place based on interesting menu but were soon disappointed. Specialty rolls were expensive and skimpy, even considering Princeton location. Apps were decent but nothing stood out as super special. Location and atmosphere (outdoor) were best feature. Unlikely we’ll go back anytime soon.
Food was fresh. The salmon melts in your mouth. Service was terrific, trying to accommodate you every step of the way. They try hard to make it during this difficult period of time.
Great food with many options; we were outdoor dining, of course, so the atmosphere is a little different, but staff were super attentive. We always enjoy this place.
We had a great dinner! The energy maki roll was amazing!!
This has become one of our favorite places to eat. The staff are always so nice and friendly. The owner always comes to greet the guests. The food is excellent. As long as the weather is good, dining outside is the best.
Princeton has needed a fantastic upmarket sushi restaurant for as long as I can remember. As enthusiastic as I am about Sakagura takeaway it simply can’t begin to be what Elite is. High quality restaurant. Stunning sushi. Delicious, imaginative and fresh. Service with a smile. The missing puzzle piece in Princeton’s restaurant circuit has finally arrived!
Good sushi that’s been lacking in Princeton. Keep up the good work.
Very good food, well prepared. The sushi is delicious.
Food excellent and fresh tasting. But the gluten free mango desert was the absolute best.
Interesting menu so other choices might have made for a better experience. The yakatori was OK (at best) but overpriced.
Creative & Unusual Specialty Rolls! The sushi tacos were amazing. We will be back!
We came for lunch for the first time and were impressed. Although it was very quiet, we liked the ambiance and décor and loved the fact that the kitchen was so open; we could see how our food was being prepared.
The menu provided many choices; we loved everything from the special sushi rolls, the ramen and teriyaki.
One of the best new restaurants in Princeton!
Excellent sushi! Best in town.
Having a hankering for Japanese food, I searched for something interesting in the area. I was surprised to find this restaurant at the former Princeton Medical Center site, but I’m glad I did. Excellent food, great presentation, nice ambiance (although maybe too small as they’re discovered). Yakitori is a bit pricey, but very tasty and perfectly prepared.
Very nice. Good food and not noisy.
Building has a beautiful interior. Dishes have a creative combination of flavors and top quality presentation.
Menu could easily be pared-down. Pricing is a bit high, but totally worth it if you take advantage of BYOB.
Excellent sushi. Interesting menu.
Best sushi I’ve had in the Princeton area. On a par with some of the best places in NYC. Only place I could find locally that has fresh Toro.
