Really wonderful experience. Love that the menu really focused on midwestern cuisine. Wine pairings were expertly done. And the place is just a vibe. The big fire, the outdoor terrace, the minimalist decor, just a whole vibe. Highly recommend to all.

Food was great! Experience was great despite covid! 2 hours is a perfect amount of time to fully enjoy the full tasting menu plus extra time to finish any leftover wine without feeling rushed.

David and Anna are just the best....food never fails to stand up to the best spots in town. The fixed menu / wine pairing was the way to go. Service is just spot on with info / prep on every dish. We can’t wait to go again....see ya soon!!

What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! Staff was friendly, dining space is beautiful and homey, courses were well-designed and tasted great. Thoughtful COVID precautions were taken and made us feel safe while dining (plus, all tables are either outside in their garden or open-air near the entrance). Would highly recommend for a special occasion or unique night out!

This was the best meal I have ever had in a restaurant. The wine pairing with the food was truly exceptional. The comfortable and relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel like I was eating with friends. The service was both instructive and very unobtrusive (the perfect level of involvement with our meal). I love your restaurant and food!!

The whole experience was well thought out through the food and the wine pairings. The environment was clean and elevated but also relaxed and casual. The staff was attentive but not hovering. I left full and happy!!!

We had a wonderful meal. It was a beautiful summer night. The elske crew did an amazing job of COVID dining and the food and service were spot on. It was a little bittersweet knowing what havoc this reduced volume must be doing to the business; the comment from the staff that they are thinking it will be takeout only once the weather turns; and all that was missing was the buzz of a busy restaurant on a Saturday night.

Lovely dinner in the courtyard space. Probably one of the best outdoor dining spaces in the city! Has a very European ambiance and the prix fixe menu, along with the wine pairing, was glorious.

Great patio, good distancing and hygiene, felt safe. Excellent food as always. First time with their Prix Fixe, it was perfect.

One of our favorite places to dine in Chicago. We have loved the whole experience in the past and we are so appreciative of all of their efforts made to keep their amazing presentation and their deliciously creative food intact while keeping everyone as safe as possible! Wonderful service, ambiance, and atmosphere, and the food was OUTSTANDING! We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Covid table distancing and open air seating were perfect and all of the employees were masked, gloved, and very respectful of our space. Please support this restaurant through this difficult time!

Lovely tasting menu, with options for vegetarians and pescatarians. Service outstanding and a great vibe. Delicious cocktails and Wine list interesting. Wish the outdoor space had more comfortable chairs!

Service and ambience are great. I had very high expectations for the visit and, for the most part, Elske doesn't disappoint. I didn't care for the first course (a rye pasta in a broth that was nearly flavorless) of the set menu on the day of our visit, but everything else was seaonal, fresh, and delicious. They have done a really exceptional job preserving the restaurant experience while keeping guests safe during the current public health crisis. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again.
