   I had a magnificent time sitting at the bar. Not only was I able to enjoy the entire menu, the bartenders and servers were kind and engaging. I couldn't enjoy the duck breast, so they even substituted it for me. The wine pairing with the tasting menu was incredibly well thought out and each glass brought new life and complexity to the dish.

   Great place to meet friends and share amazing dishes. Able to carry on conversations even amidst a full restaurant. A bit pricey but overall, definitely worth it! Try the anchovies (I know, I know, but just do it), the halibut, the leeks, the agnolotti... I don't eat beef or pork but my coworkers raved about those as well.

   Set many was amazing!!! Love the pace. Services were great but not amazing as others pointed out - our waiter looks pretty tired and over it - poor guy. Will definitely go back. A must try.

   Incredible vibe with unbelievably great service. Extremely impressive food and ambience. The Halibut was one of the best I have ever had. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks me.

    Cute neighborhood where you smell something fantastic just approaching the restaurant. After a chaotic week, sitting down at Elske with our calming server a cup of their smoked fruit tea was simply perfect. We had the fixed menu, which was described to us as a sample of what Elske has. It was one of my top five all time favorite meals. The duck liver pâté was my favorite! The attention to every detail-timing the delivery each course to our table, the continued refill of our wine glasses, the placement of the utensils-it was simply lovely! I’d come back every week if I could afford it!

    Very interesting menue and combinations of different foods. Tastes really good. Con: tables are too close to each other. Very basic decor. I wish menue woud be printed in the different, larger font. Very hard to read . Also I wish that serving sizes will be disclosed on the menue. It is hard to order a la carte if it is unnown.

    Had a dinner tonight. The atmosphere was nice, but very loud. The biggest disappointment was the food. Our main dishes got delivered to a table next to us, it was there for a few minutes, then the server took it back to a kitchen and brought to our table. Unfortunately my pork dish was cold. I asked it to be cooked well. And it was raw inside. Huge disappointment, for the place with a Michelin star! For the price you pay. Plus they charge you for employees medical benefits. What do I have to do with that? Even if the amount is small. Why the owner is not paying for people’s medical coverage?! Save your money and go to a better place.

    Restaurant is very nice but food did not meet our expectations. Duck was undercooked. We had a feeling that the cook wanted to impress using sophisticated techniques and flavor combinations but didn’t excel from the technical point of view. For this price, I would expect more.

    I had been really excited to try this place. Made it from out of town and had one free night to take my wife and this was the place I chose. Restaurant is great visually and definitely has scandi vibes. Felt like I was back dining in Reykjavik. Waiter was extremely helpful and kind. Good service. Honestly just really let down by the food. Some of the visuals and flavors just really missed the mark. Not claiming to be a chef or professional critic by any means, but out of all the great restaurants I’ve eaten at this one just didn’t come close. I was so excited to try this place perhaps I just hyped it up too much in my head, but I don’t think I would return.

    We went there to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, because of traffic and difficulties finding parking (no valet), we had called and told them we would be 10-15 min late. We were informed that our reservation had a 2 hour window and that we would be ok as long as we were out by the time of the next reservation. We were seated 10 min after our reservation time, and were immediately reminded that we needed to be done by the next reservation time (9:15pm). In fact, we were discouraged from doing the tasting menu, as it would take too long. At a Michelin star restaurant, I would never have expected to be rushed or discouraged from certain menu items because of time. The food was mediocre, and feeling rushed on top of that means that I won’t be coming back. The wine choice was very enjoyable, and the service was otherwise fine.

    The tasting menu was very good. Two of the four of us were allowed to substitute a risotto for the duck course, which was greatly appreciated. For the two who had the duck, they said it was very good but the portion was too large. The dessert was excellent. We would go again.

    Awesome food, cocktails and ambiance. Our server was amazing as well. Only downer was they ran out of gnudi and grilled monkfish by 9 pm.

    Visited for the first time for my boyfriends birthday. We loved the ambiance and couldn’t wait to partake in the set menu with juice pairings. We were at awe with the presentation and the well thought out combinations of flavor. Everything was delicious but once we received the duck portion of dinner it seemed to be way too much duck, which might be super yummy for some, but for us we were a tad disappointed. That did not change our opinions on the experience though. My boyfriend had a great birthday dinner and so did I! The desserts were stunning and I really can’t wait to come back again and order a la carte! So glad we found you! Thank you Elske team!

    Excellent vine pairing. Non-gluten and non-dairy options are great. The pastry and juice pairing were also remarkable! I definitely highly recommend Elske, even compared to other one-star restaurants that I've been to.

    This is an amazing tasting menu restaurant with a la carte options. We got the tasting menu with wine and juice parings. Each wine and juice paired spectacularly with each course. The best course was the duck by far. I also ordered the sunflower parfait which I loved. The staff was also highly helpful in explaining each course and pairings. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for tasting menu experience.

    Tasting menu is not my favorite. I choose the juice pairing but find the juice taste too sweet at the end. It might be better to choose the wine pairing. The fish and the duck are good. The service is soooo great!

    Lots of nuance and attention to layers--of flavor, texture, and (significantly) temperatures--. Leeks could have used a *little* more bite--but it's a stunning dish. Duck liver tart brought duck to a new level for me. Hay custard did the same for grapefruit. Yeast ice cream with date molasses?--Ohhhhhhh--. Downside: kind of loud--too many hard surfaces. And the art on the walls was nowhere near the standard the art on the plates--get some real art, please?

    THE BEST! Delicious food and wonderful service. Love how the menu changes and there’s always something new to try. But I hope they never take off the charred leeks because they are my favorite! Plus whimsical desserts that keep me coming back for more!
