   Ordered their awesome sushi. Especially love the hot avocado with crab. Scallops were done just right. Celebrated our anniversary, ordered our deserts, which they gave us complimentary. Great staff and great server!

   Stellar meal. Steak was fabulous. Could be more generous with the entree vegetables. We split the salad which made it a perfect size. Old Fashioned and Irish coffee were delicious. Need to upgrade their tonic. Vodka and gin tonics were so so.

    From being seated by the hostess all the way to our desserts being very carefully wrapped to take home, everything was very, very good. Salads are available to be halved into a smaller portion. Waiter checked on us a few times to make sure we were pleased. Couldn't have had a better meal or a better evening.

    We always have had excellent meals at Embers and this time did not disappoint. Two of our family members had the fillet mignon which was cooked to perfection and I had the dover sole which I will definitely have again. Our server Max was charming and helpful and was able to make excellent suggestions when asked. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to going again for a special occasion.

    We visited Embers on a Friday evening at 6pm. There was several empty tables, not sure if we needed the reservations that we had. But it's always a good thing. We were greeted and seated promptly. Hostess station was well staffed and friendly. Our waiter was fantastic. They had a lot of staff walking the floor the entire time we were there. No dirty plate nor empty glass went unattended. A manager checked in at the end of our meal to see if we were satisfied with our meal. Hubby had an Amaretto Sour which he said was pretty good. I had the Lemongrass Painkiller. Let's just say they don't skimp on the liquor- which (again) is never a bad thing. Waiter (man I wish I could remember his name!) was a sommelier which was wasted on us since we a re not huge wine drinkers. He had a great menu knowledge. Let us know that they offered 1/2 sizes of the specialty salads. The Green Goddess was terrific. Special soup was Mushroom with Truffle Oil. Thank goodness someone knows soup should be, well...hot. It was very yummy. Hubbs had the Bone in Cowboy Ribeye and a baked potato. Ribeye was very good. I thought the baked potato was overcooked. But he liked it and that's all that matters. I had the fish special which was Seabass with Crabcake topper, mushroom risotto and asparagus. Over all it was lovely tasting but tepid in temperature. For dessert hubby had the CRÈME BRÛLÉE and I had the Butterscotch Pudding. Both were quite good. With my dessert I had the Nutty Irishman coffee- holy smokes. Let's just say I'd not pass a breathalyzer. But again not a bad thing.

    The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was full. Our waiter was personable and not pushy. We had a well-paced dinner with appropriate visits from our waiter. The food was delicious. It is a great special occasion restaurant and I would definitely return.

    Chose from the restaurant week menu. For $46 got one beef short rib (delicious), 3 mini roasted rainbow carrots, 1 crispy piece of a Brussels sprout and a schmear of potato purée. Thought the meal was pricey for the portions I got. More veggies would have been nice.
