Emeril’s Chop House at Wind Creek Bethlehem
It was our anniversary and couldn’t find a better restaurant in which to enjoy it! Thank you, Joe and Kathy
Our waiter was extremely knowledgable of the menu and food prep. Portions large and we had great leftovers the next day. Go hungry and with an open wallet as it is on the higher price end.
Loved our meal. Delicious filet. The only negative was the creamed spinach.
Service was exceptional. Food was excellent, except for temperature (could have been hotter).
The food and the service was amazing. I would definitely go back there and recommend this establishment to others
Awesome food, awesome experience, can't wait to go back! Best steak in Bethlehem!
Absolutely outstanding!!! Our service was excellent and the food quality and preparation was top notch.
We were in town for business and Emeril's was a great pick. Would recommend. Always great steaks.
awesome time..relaxed ...service was fantastic...didn't feel rushed.
The atmosphere and quality of food has diminished since we first dined there.
We had early reservations, as we were attending a show at 7PM. The staff worked efficiently to get us out with ample time to get through security and to our seats.
After the show, we returned to have desert. Even though it was crowded, the staff found a way to accommodate us.
I ordered châteaubriand for two. The charge was $90. The steak was undersized in over done. When I told the manager he simply apologized and did nothing to rectify it. Typical casino restaurant overpriced and nothing to speak of
Wait staff was wonderful
For a Tuesday evening, service was a bit slow even with 2 people providing service. Food was outstanding!!
The food was outstanding. Service was top notch, with a relaxed atmosphere. Will be referring friends and family to go try it out .
Service was impeccable. Seated immediately waiters came over asked for our drink order and gave us time to peruse the menu and chat .
Gave very good descriptions of the appetizers and the entrees.
Very disappointed in the quality of the entrees
I had Chilean Sea Bass , my husband Lamb shank
Presentation was beautiful but flavor was lacking in both..slightly overdone as well..i splurged for lobster mac and cheese (18.00) as a side abd it was so salty i couldbt eat it!
Our reservations were late - after a show. 10:15 pm. We were greeted and seated promptly. Got drinks and appetizers in good time. My husband’s steak was perfect- he loved it. My chicken dish was just fair- not outstanding for the price. So far so good!
Now it starts to go downhill.... the restaurant starts to clear out and our server is nowhere to be found. We were done eating and sitting for 15-20 minutes just waiting. There were men in suits who glanced at us a few times (I assumed they were managers), I thought they may come over or get our server- yet we continued to wait. After what seems like forever (approx 20 minutes) she arrives and says “can I get you some dessert to go”? I was taken aback as I would have loved a cup of coffee. My husband ordered the cake with cream cheese ice cream. I was starting to get disturbed so I opted out. My husband asked them to not heat the cake so the ice cream wouldn’t melt in our way to our room. She cane back with the cake and says “they heated it a bit after all” to which we replied it’s ok we will go directly to our room-and we pay our high bill (which I know going in there it will be pricey, which I do not mind for good food and exceptional service).
Five minutes later we get in the room and pull out the cake- there is no ice cream!
Overall it was barely a fair experience. Started ok and went downhill fast. Very disappointing for this level establishment!
I was disappointed with the steak. It wasn't cooked the way I had asked and there was no flavor.
Chop house was very busy, we had a 8:15 reservation for 6, but we were told they were running behind, we didn't get seated until 8:45. Meals were excellent, service from Tara and Joe was outstanding, we had a very good time.
45 minutes late seating on a reservation made 3 months ago. Was given incorrect order after food was started to be eaten, never received some food that was ordered. Manager was excellent in attempting to resolve issues, however we were out of time for them to correct order due to late seating.
Everything was perfect. The only issue wasn’t on the part of the staff. The idiots that were sitting behind my wife and I (massive party of several different couples) were causing a significant scene and were the definition of “unreasonable”. In fact, as soon as they loudly sat down they had already determined that they were going to get a free meal and only have to pay for the wine if they complain enough (this was literally after they were seated). One of the idiots even went as far to go up to the kitchen opening, loudly asking where their food was (despite a normal wait time). The manager and staff held their composure and treated this table of ingrates with the utmost professionalism and sincerity. Keep up the good work Emerils! I’m sorry you have to deal with people like that.
You can ask the severs that night. It was terrible. What a shame to waste Valentine’s Day on the dinner. Thanks for discounting the bill but it left a definite bad taste in our mouth.
So happy we chose The Chop House for Valentines Day. We had an excellent meal. We were there when it first opened when the glass shelving in the bar collapsed and have been back several times. We love the food. Great job to all the staff on a very busy night, we did see a couple leave when they thought they did't get served in a timely manner. What were they thinking on Valentines Day, come on people the staff was doing the best they could. We have been to several Emeril restaurants in New Orleans and we fortunate to have the chance to meet Emeril in New York several years age. We are his biggest fans
Bad experience on many levels. I have already sent in a formal complaint.
Food was amazing, but service was subpar. Waited twenty minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
Food and service were both amazing!
The service with the staff was excellent and the food that was ordered was prepared as ordered no complainants and would return to the restaurant in a future visit to Wind creek
We had a reservation. We were seated near a busy aisle close to the restaurant entrance. There were several more private, better located tables we weren’t offered. We ordered a bottle of wine. It came in a carafe, not a bottle. I ordered a filet mignon. I described to our server exactly how I wanted it prepared. I said “some pink in the center, no red”. Twice. The steak arrived totally red in the center. I called the waiter over. He seemed confused. He and the manager took my steak back into the kitchen to recook it. It came back in 10 minutes. By that time my companion had just about finished his meal. I watched him while he ate. He watched me while I ate. We prefer restaurants where we eat at the same time. No concession was offered for the incorrect preparation that disturbed the flow of the meal. We did not ask for one. We won’t be going back.
Hostess and wait staff were excellent
Kitchen overcooked meat
The service and the cuisine were superb. We always enjoy our dinners at The Chop House.
Great meal! The only complaint I have is that is was bust and took a while to get our drinks.
Great food, perfectly cooked steaks, and outstanding service!
This was another off night for the Chophouse. We've eaten here 15-20 times and it is a very hit and miss restaurant. They are capable of amazing meals or mediocre meals. Service is usually good with a two person team but this time both of them failed. Drinks were not what we ordered, forgotten or served 10-15 minutes after ordered. The restaurant was over half empty. Special requests were dismissed by our waiter without checking with the kitchen so we went around our server to get what we wanted. Silverware was missing and our bone in ribeyes were tough. The lobster was good but not served correctly with a butter warmer. For $40 a tail it should be served properly. The young hostess has been there for our last 3 visits and is very personable and always has the right table for us. We will take a break for the next few months and go to the Blue Grill Restaurant; it is the best restaurant in the area.
Celebration for my husband's birthday. Requested and were seated at the Chef's table. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Drinks and food delicious. Server brought my husband a surprise happy birthday treat! Overall enjoyable experience.
We did not realize this was in the casino. We looked for the closest, well-rated steak restaurant to my sons university due to time constraints. We had a party of 7, with 5 being under 21. In order to get in to the restaurant, which was directly next to the entry, but required entering the casino, they needed to hand write a detailed description of each child. We then had to wait for an escort to bring us over. Once in, in order to use the restroom, we also needed an escort. If the escort came from a certain zone they could not walk us to the one directly next to the restaurant, instead we were walked to one on the other side of the casino. While I fully understand the necessity of this security- I share this because for the amount of time this took (having kids under 21), we could have gone to one a little further without the amount of time or frustration when spending such a large (albeit worth it) amount of money.
Very good food and service.
Food was warm not hot also had a bottle of wine on ice and had to get up myself to pour wine, waitress
hardly came to the table. Horrible service...
