Erawan Thai Cuisine
Great food and service!!!! Food had fresh ingredients!
Best restaurant in Queens
The crispy whole fish is amazing
Warm and friendly staff. Very tasty meal.
A step above in terms of thai cuisine. Everything is just a little more carefully prepared, a little better seasoned and just a little better generally. Absolutely one of the best Thai restaurants in the US.
Everything was good at Erawan - sat us at our reservation time, attentive service, and tasty food. Our only complaints were that it was noisy, and the food was not plentiful. We ordered a noodle dish that had surprisingly few noodles, and the vegetable dish we had, while tasty, was a smaller serving than we expected for the price. I would still go back, but would order accordingly
Solid, conisistent food and service. The wasabi shrimp appetizer with the sauce is out of this world! Tried the Erawan steak with a side of pickled vegetables for the first time and this was amazing. My "go to" drink is Samui Island Martini - hello delicious coconut!!! Can't wait to go back!
I love Erawan. The food is excellent, the space is cozy but not tight. The service is great.
Been coming to Erawan for many years. They never disappoint us with the quality of the food, drinks (Cosmos are the best!) or service. It's like going home.

I just love that place and the atmosphere ! And it was not noisy at all.
Just maybe mention more tofu options in writing on the menu for vegetarian people.
This is the best Thai anywhere! We've been coming here for many years and will continue to do so!
All around great experience. Great food and the service is always top notch. Definitely recommend for Thai food in queens.

Simply the best upscale Thai restaurant in Queens. Scrumptious food, attentive staff, & warm ambiance combine to provide a superior dining experience. The owners are regularly present & actively seek to ensure that all your dining needs are met. A solid five stars!
Best restaurant in Queens
Excellent place to eat food if perfect drinks are great
Great Thai food.
We ordered duck dish. Rubbery and gamey. Not fresh made.
My wife and i suspect they used MSG flavorings because we both got head aches aftwr we left
waitress was excellent, composed custom main course for my parents
Excellent Thai food!
I definitely will be reserving here again! I’d been to Erawan before, so I knew that the food would be great. The food was amazing; workers were so friendly, but I did notice that the price was a little steeper than I remember it a few months ago. There are definitely cheaper Thai places to go to for similar taste, but I think for location sake it was pretty reasonable. I’ll be coming here again for special occasions only/when I have the money to
They did a wonderful birthday celebration.
If you like Thai food, you need to try this place.
Great neighborhood restaurant, Paul is truly the ultimate gracious and super hospitable professional owner which serves the best Thai cuisine in the city. Our go to place for all occasions. Great service and super delicious food!
My husband and I have been dining at Erawan for over 10 years and always an excellent meal. We travel from Suffolk County to Bayside about 1x a month and have brought numerous friends with us. The owners are always there making sure everything is top notch! They are both great people! And their son is the bartender and makes a great Asian pear martini too! If you want great authentic Thai food this is the place!
Tossup between 3 and 4 stars.
Not bad for a typical Thai restaurant. The decor is somewhat upscale, and a lot of the menu is seafood. The menu has a lot of "choose your meat with this or that curry" type items typical of common restaurants, but also has some unusual choices as well like shrimp with spinach and tamarind sauce. There are also a lot of traditional dishes on the menu like pad thai and pad see-eiw (which we didn't try).
We had a papaya salad, a Thai dumpling (kanom jeeb), and seared scallops in a coconut milk and curry sauce (hoi shell). The papaya salad was probably the least traditional, most boring version of it I've ever had: very little spice, and I think no fish sauce in the dressing nor peanuts or dried shrimp in the mix. It was like they were trying to keep it vegetarian so that more people could order it. It tasted mostly of lime but nothing else. The dumplings also disappointed; while the filling was okay, the dumpling skin was over-cooked and far too soft.
However, the hoi shell (scallops) were in a sauce that everyone in our party of six enjoyed. The scallops were well done but were obviously cooked separately and dropped into the dish, so they had a separate, milder flavor. The two other couples at the table mostly enjoyed their softshell crab and fried rice (though in my opinion the soft-shell crab was overly salty).
Overall, the food choices are hit-or-miss. You might find a gem or a ho-hum dish. Service was a bit inattentive, but nothing to short the tip on.
This place is always great in every category. Consistently great food, service, ambiance, and cleanliness.
Best Thai food in Queens. Attentive servers. Food is hot and delicious.
Always a great option. Never disappointed. Great drinks and great food.
The service was good. However, most of the dishes were bland - tasteless. Also disturbing was that only after we left the restaurant did we discover that posted on the front window was a sign saying that in celebration of their 20th Anniversary Erawan was offering a three course meal for $20 per person (including most of the dishes we were ordering) if ordered by 7pm. Our reservation was at 6:30. We did not see the sign before entering. But we asked our waitress before ordering if there were any specials and she read off a list but never mentioned the 20th Anniversary special. No did they have a Special insert to give us. We will never go back to this restaurant again. That is no way to run a business.
The best Thai food in the metropolitan area! The owners are warm and sweet people, always striving to serve their regulars and new customers alike.
Wonderful owners who are always here and a friendly welcoming staff to go along with the great food.
The appetizers were delicious however our main orders were messed up. We ordered 3 of the same chicken dish, one with no spice, one regular, and one with extra spice, however they all came out with no spice and were very bland. The chef should have prepared the food as ordered, or the waitress should have recommended another similar dish for those who wanted no or extra spice.
food and service were terrific. we were a party of six and ordered in a family style manner sharing dishes. would recommend and would go back.
This is a neighborhood gem. The food is consistently delicious. Dumplings and curry puffs are excellent apps and in season the mango sticky rice is a must dessert.
Had the special soft shell crabs - excellent!
Excellent Thai food. A must try!
This restaurant was recommended to me and I am so glad it was. The Service was very good and the food was even better. I was with a close friend that was celebrating a birthday and when I asked the staff to help me say happy birthday, they went all out. It was just Great. I truly recommend this restaurant and will, hopefully, return for a second visit sometime in the future.
