Everything was awesome !! Loved the service. Took a little long to get drinks but they made up for it.

Didn’t seem like there was a manager on duty, seemed like every staff member was new and didn’t know anything about drinks, or the menu. Very poor experience. I was SO excited to go and eat for the first time, and was highly disappointed. Service was so bad that we didn’t even stay for entrees we left after appetizers.

Service was terrible. Got our food fairly quickly but waiter never came back around after to refill drinks, check on how our meal was or bring the check for an hour despite multiple attempts to flag him down and asking the GM and another waiter to grab him. Attempted to use a Groupon for 40 dollars off food for 4 people. There were only 2 of us but we ordered the equivalent of 4 people’s worth of food. The GM refused to give us any amount off our bill. Marked the Groupon as redeemed and THEN was provided this information - so the ability to trade in the Groupon was totally lost as well. The only good thing going for this place was its Spotify playlist. Food was mediocre and the water tasted horrible. Not typically a Karen but not impressed at all. Will not return.

I think Escape has potential but needs a little work. The server seemed new but was attentive. The bar took quite a while to prepare our drinks and we were one of 3 or 4 tables in the entire restaurant. The food was pretty good but slightly overpriced. We were with a group so just ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. Between the time it took to get our drinks to the $250 tab just for 4 people... I don't think we received a good value. Hopefully the service continues to improve and the prices are adjusted accordingly- I mean $25 for a charcuterie board is a little excessive, considering it wasn't a large platter.

Way too loud, bad drink selection, odd atmosphere, so/so food.

Escape is one of my favorite restaurants for brunch. The atmosphere is always amazing! Food is delicious and the drinks are amazing!

Nice decor and wonderful dinner!

We went on Valentine's Day and they had a special menu for that day at $55 a person with a complimentary glass of champagne. Certain dishes on the menu were good to great whereas the calamari had little flavor. The scallop dish only had 3 scallops, but were good. The deserts were blasé.

It was Valentine's Day so we expected it to not be perfect but we weren't prepared for long delays with no drinks and no one to stop for assistance. Made eye contact with what I believed was the manager twice but she never came over. We had an early reservation (before 6) so we were also surprised they were already out of ribeye. Went with the Mediterranean plate with chicken and beef instead. The chicken was well flavored but the beef was reminiscent of meatloaf and just wasn't for me. Not their fault though. We were really disappointed by the scallops...three fairly small (quarter sized scallops). The risotto and Brussels sprouts were great though. We also got the lumpia for an app which were great. I enjoyed it for a good meal but I'd hoped it'd be great and it just fell short. The ambiance was great and the musician was good. I could've overcome my disappointment with the food had service been better.

It was awful. The food quality and service were neck and neck for which was worse. I’d never go back in a million years and was embarrassed to have taken my Valentine there.

This Bar / Restaurant is definitely suited more towards an event crowd than a romantic dinner with your partner. Their kitchen is not geared for a 4 course set menu. The food that came out was warm when it should have been hot and over cooked when it should have been medium rare. I'm sure they perform slower yet better with an a la carte menu. As for playing NASCAR greatest wrecks on large screens during a valentines evening - I think the mood was best set for a night out with friends. Our waiter was great and attentive, the highlight of our experience.

All around horrible. Ordered the khachapuri with lamb not only did the food take an hour to get to us (the restaurant was not even busy) the bread was hard, cold and the cheese looks like it had hardened from sitting in the window for so long. I ordered a fried egg to go on top. The egg was also cold and stiff. I ordered a coconut cloud (drink) that I never got. The waiter never came by to acknowledge me, or say there were any issues for delay, was just so fixed about helping the table behind us and walked past my table numerous times. Will never go back. Plus it was expensive. 2 drinks, appetizer, and 2 cheese bread looking things got $95...GTFO I should’ve walked out.

Our server Debbie was excellent, being our first time she was helpful with the menu.
Her suggestion for the appetizer was the Crostini bread with whipped Ricotta cheese drizzled with honey and walnuts. My husband had the short rib Masala which was delicious. I had the house salad filled with olives and fresh greens and a delicious dressing. We had bread pudding with fresh strawberries for dessert. The live music was pleasing. The bar looked nice. The restaurant was very clean and everyone was kind and respectful. The manager came over to check on us.

The food and experience was disappointing. The kids chicken nuggets had a LOT of black pepper on it. Also, we ordered a cheese pizza that took a very long time to come out. The waiter said it was because they burnt the first one. The food at best was mediocre.

Everything was wonderful! From the lamb Lollipops to the service from everyone especially Patrick ! I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The food and service was excellent and we felt very safe (covid-wise) eating there.

The location and the decorum of the restaurant was very nice and modern. The music was good and the prices are very reasonable. The food was pretty good as well as the service. They did serve hookah which was a big plus and they had a heated lounge area outside to use it.

Beautiful place and very nice wait staff but plates were dirty ( place was not crowded) Drinks were ok not good and took along time to get. Ended up getting appetizers only as these weren’t good either. They were out of a lot of things we asked for and the menu and pictures on-line did not match what they currently offer.

Unfortunately, this go around was not as great as the first. Service was ok but food fell way down since February. Lacked flavor in some dishes.

The menu is a wonderful blend of multicultural food from the Mac and cheese steak to Greek pizza. There is something for everyone. The staff and bartender were extremely attentive, outside dining available and prices won’t break your wallet.

Upon walking in I was acknowledged immediately even though you can see they were a little busy. The vibe was amazing! Everyone was very accommodating above and beyond what I expected! Our server Erica was the absolute best and the Chef Chris did not hesitate to accommodate my modification to my order! They way they treated us was like family! Shawn the FOH manager was also a joy with his hospitality. I’m locked in for as a patron for as long as they’re around.

Excellent spot to get a few cocktails while waiting for food, and every drink we had was made very well! The only critique I have is the communication be improved a little because we weren’t notified until a while later that an appetizer we ordered was out of stock. But the entrees were delicious and made up!

Really love the buildout and location of this restaurant. We dined here when they first opened and enjoyed everything. Our second experience was not as good. We were excited to hear of their opening after COVID-19. It did not go well. The server was not a trained waiter. He was not knowledgeable of the menu and it seemed obvious that he had not been in the business long. Appetizers were just average. The main course for me flank and Mac was average at best. The calamari came with a basic cocktail sauce and the shrimp cocktail came with a very bland marinara. I took several attempts to get a 2nd bottle of wine and then we were charged for 3. I believe the owner was in the restaurant but never came by to say hello and welcome us back and thank us for coming during this crazy COVID-19 time. We are a huge fan of the restaurants ambiance, location and bar. We are huge foodies and want Escape to succeed but work needs to be done. It will will be awhile till return under the current circumstances. Just be honest to help with the restaurants success.

We thourghly enjoyed the evening. A few issues with a new restaurant, but, we will come back.

Love the space. However, service was slow and the food was subpar. Also, the noise level was high. It was hard to have a conversation.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our appetizer and our dinners. There are many dining options in Five Points but this is one of the better ones. We will be back.

We were warmly greeted and Welcomed. The food was as good as described. The varied menu really suited us, we enjoyed the appetizer of Mid-eastern specialties. We definitely will go back.

We had an amazing experience. We had the special Valentine's menu which was great but if their regular food is just as good you can't go wrong. Great bartenders Nick and Meg hooked us up. We will be back for sure. Thanks again for a great Valentine's Day, so glad we tried the Escape out.

We went for Valentine’s Day and it’s was quite a disappointment. From the service as soon as we walked in the door to the food it was all pretty sub par. The restaurant decor was lacking any real ambiance - if everyone is paying upwards of $200 for their meals, some decorations other than plastic stuck on hearts would have been nice. There were also many excuses for why they couldn’t seat us right away even though there were many tables open - they were saving tables for people who were 30 minutes late to their reservation. The shining star of the night was the asparagus soup, but that was the first course and the meal didn’t stand up to it. Our waiter barely made eye contact with us and the rest of the staff seemed to have many excuses as to why things weren’t running smoothly. All in all, this place is pretty forgettable and we will not return.

The scallops with roasted cauliflower and wild mushrooms would have been an excellent choice, but was over salted which brought the meal down to a 3 from a 5. The pancet dish lacked flavor. The calamari was excellent, the fries good and the salad only so-so. Food was pricey for what was received. Just as I was about to sit down, the server spilled the pitcher of water down my back and leg. All forgiven as accidents do happen. He quickly got me some cloth napkins to soak the water out of my clothes. The bartender offered a free drink to make up for the accident.

The prices were so high compared to the amount of food served and the type of food quality were so poor.
