Great food at a reasonable price. My husband and I split the cabbage salad with wonton strips, the harissa chicken and the pork chop. Everything was very delicious. Drink prices were reasonable. We shared carrot cake and coffee. That was good too, but my favorite part of the carrot cake was the carrot strips on it!!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely brunch at Everyday Kitchen. Service was great, and there was a nice selection on the menu. I appreciated seeing both vegetarian and vegan options. The food was very tasty, although the Gruyère cheese on my omelet was not distributed throughout - it was in a lump on one end of the omelet.

We went on a Thursday and ordered from their date night menu. It was a great deal and well timed by the server, who was excellent! Everything was truly delicious.
My literal ONLY complaint was I wish I knew the 1/2 chicken wouldn't involve any white meat. I got a thigh and drum, which was still tasty, but not my favorite. The description also included grapefruit and dill, which was really more of a garnish, which was a bummer.
Otherwise, this place is a gem, absolutely beautifully designed, and we will 100% be back again!

We had wanted to try Everyday Kitchen for a couple of years. The menu looked great and the pictures of the space look new, clean and fun. We were disappointed when we went this past weekend. The food was just ok and the service was not good. I got the salmon benedict and while it was served and plated well, we had no salt on the table and after no one ever came by to check us on, we had to go to the bar and ask for a shaker. My boyfriend's food was luke-warm. It was pretty quiet when we got there - only two other tables in the dining area but it took a long time for the wait staff to come and take orders for coffee. There were plenty of other staff around, just not wait staff. Some people appeared to just fill water. someone else came by towards the end and was just walking around the dining area kind of observing. We did finally wave them down to get our check. It had gotten busy by then and it appeared our server was the only one in the whole dining room space. Which maybe they could have restricted reservations if they were short staffed. We spent $45 on two breakfasts and two coffees. I would have expected better service and hot food for that price. I know things are tough now so I may consider going back after covid and staffing issues are resolved but i dont really know. there are a lot of breakfast places in town to go instead, too.

Sebastian did a great job giving great and prompt service. The food was amazing, I had the chicken and waffles and it was the perfect combination of savory and sweet! The syrup was to die for! The food has improved greatly since the last time I was there. Keep up the good work!

My entrée was good. I had the salmon Benedict. The French toast was bland. It could’ve used some cinnamon. Our coffees came after our entrees came out.

We had brunch at the Everyday Kitchen and loved it so thought we would try dinner on New Year’s Eve. The walleye fingers were delicious but the ahi tuna pizza and mushroom noodles could be improved. It seemed to be well staffed but our water glasses were empty when we needed to quench the fire from jalapeños on our pizza. We will be back for brunch for sure!

Went to Everyday Kitchen for the first time today.
This will be a new favorite go-to! Finally the West side has another decent restaurant option.
Large portions, complex, flavorful dishes, lots of beverage options. Felt upscale but not pretentious. Had brunch but will go back for dinner some time.
It’s on University near LaBrioche (parking is underneath the restaurant).

First time to Everyday Kitchen. We came for date night on Thurs. around the Holidays... surprisingly wasnt very busy. The food was very good and portions were large. Our waitress was very quiet and not super attentive but was pleasant.

I booked a table for 6 for a sunday brunch for a celebration of my friends accomplishments this year. Unfortunatly they were unable to fulfill multiple drink requests (coffee and tea drinks) and we were eventually served extremely burnt tasting coffee. We debated mocktails but they were priced as if they had alcohol, so we decided to stick to just ordering teas and coffees. We were seated in the back room and our server maybe checked in every half hour, we were there for almost 3 hours. The food was good, but we all agreed that for the price it could have been better. I have been before and had a wonderful experience! I think the main problems were a shortage of available staff and that is happening everywhere so I understand, but maybe if the amount of tables available were condensed it would lead to a better experience. I will continue to go to them for date nights but I will probably book larger tables elsewhere.

Another great meal at EK! Had a foodie friend visiting from New York who raved about the duck confit. I ordered the Spitfire Pork Chop for the first time, and it was fantastic. My spouse ordered one of our favorites, the Wild Mushroom Ragout. Solid wine list and cocktail menu. It was a spirited night in the dining room, which made it a little louder than usual. No matter, though, as the ambience of EK remains warm and comfortable even when they are busy. It's a great place to take guests from out of town and show them what Madison has to offer,

Foremost - food was good. We are vegetarian and had the curd cheese tempura. I thought it would be lightly battered as a tempura but it was no different from any fried cheese curd in Madison. Also the dipping sauces were just out of a bottle - so nothing fancy there. The spring rolls sounded unique and we wish we had tried that instead. We tried the Thai curry tofu noodles and the vegetarian lasagna (cold dish). They were both sumptuous! The cocktail was too bubbly but they had a reasonably good beer selection. All in all, a pleasant experience.

I had the pasta with boar bolognese. Flavors were fine, but the pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy, and ruined the dish. I have had good experiences at this restaurant, but this was one that makes me question returning. Very noisy (could not hear myself talking), and service was adequate but noticeably inattentive.

Wow, what a hidden little gem. I must have driven by the location off university 1000 times and never knew it was there. The food was very good. We had the cucumber spring rolls and cheese curds and both were great. My wife and I both had the duck which was outstanding. They opened last year in a new building. They are part of Lodgic Everyday Community and 100% of proceeds are reinvested back in the community. Pretty cool mission and really great food. Highly recommend you check it out.

Had a business lunch here - it went well and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The brunch menu felt a little restrictive if you don’t like eggs (which my associate doesn’t) but service and food was great.

The food was absolutely outstanding. I had the pork chops and she had the shrimp and grits. We added the cucumber spring rolls as an appetizer. Completely amazing and top notch on all accounts with the food. Incredible flavors and wouldn’t change anything. Presentation was phenomenal and the combinations were a wonderful unique twist on traditional comfort foods.
The ambiance is very chic. Modern and fun. A little loud but in a good way, and not in any way overwhelming.
The drinks were truly off the chart. Exotic and top shelf for sure. Explore the cocktail menu. You won’t be disappointed.
Our only rub was with our server. It all started fine. But after the food showed up, it’s like she forgot about us. Drinks and water sat empty for nearly the full meal. And she came back while we were actively eating asking if we were ready for our check. It’s not like they were closing (that we could tell) not had we been at the table very long or being unruly in any way. It was quite confusing. From then on, the only interactions we had were her asking if we were ready for the check.
We still tipped well, chalking it up as maybe she was in a hurry or had a bad day. We will definitely be going back, if not for the food alone, and being hopeful our server experience was a very isolated one.

Extremely loud, loud music, speakers are set to all base and no treble, couldn’t hear the person next to you talking. Food was mediocre. Cheese soup was watery, fries not crisp, sandwich nothing special. TV’s need updating, some don’t even work. This is a pool hall for college kids that have no money and only want to drink beer.

Solid, healthy, and modern menu. Built around brunch, so more lunch-y menu items are limited. Nothing exotic. Kind and Committed server even though it was his first week on the job. Fresh, modern interior. Adequate social distancing.
