La verdad esta vez no nos encanto; el servicio, la temperatura de los alimentos y la ambientación no fueron los ideales.
Para cenas y tragos es espectacular, pero no creo regresar para comida

Very interesting takes on traditional dishes. Excellent presentation. Service top notch. Odd music playlist (Beethoven’s 5th?). Now standard decor: distressed wood and Edison light bulbs. Comfortable seating.

Four of us dined here on our second night in Oaxaca. It was an easy walk from the hotel and has a good menu of mezcal cocktails. We had done a mezcal tasting the night before so wanted to branch out. We each started with a different cocktail. They were all very good, but the margarita was the best. Dinner was very good. We shared a mixture of small tortillas for starters. I continues with just starters. The dorado ceviche was lovely and the traditional mushroom soup fantastic. Two others had the pork torta which was basically pulled pork on a bun; also very well done. We had read in another review that they had food wine - not true!! Only a house red or white, both unpalatable. The only real issue of the evening came when we went to pay the bill and their machine would not work on anyone’s credit card. Luckily we had enough cash to cover the bill.

Me quede con ganas de ir .... tenía reservación confirmada y al llegar estaba cerrado porque estaban decorando para el Día de muertos, si me hubieran avisado el sábado los hubiera visitado.
Eso si, la fachada les quedó espectacular

Unos borrachos en la mesa casi de junto, no agradable para un restaurante familiar a esa hora

Very good food and service

DJ came on in the middle of dinner service - not just loud but obnoxious music choices while people are eating and talking. Can’t imagine who thought this was a good idea. Food was not anything I hope to experience again...truly a culinary disappointment. Did like my drink from the bar.

We tried different Oaxaca specialities and they were all delicious! Cocktail menu makes you wanna try all! At the end they kindly offer us a mezcal degustation. Unfortunately we hadn’t any more room to desert! Great experience, I definitely recommend!

El servicio es excelente. La coctelería de las mejores. Venden mezcal muy bueno y se come exquisito. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Música en vivo a un volumen perfecto para platicar y muy amena.

Made a reservation for NYE on opentable, and confirmed online as I usually do. When I arrived for dinner they did not have a table reserved for me. When I showed them my confirmation email they said that ‘Open table does not respect that it is New Year’s Eve and should not have let you make the reservation.’

La peor experiencia, NO me respetaron la reservación y la confirmé 2 veces vía telefónica.
Llegamos exactamente a la hora y nos dijeron que ya no había mesa porque habíamos llegado tarde, aún y cuando le enseñamos el reloj a la hostess y comprobamos que estábamos en tiempo dijo que ya era tarde.
Nadie nos dio una explicación y el Gerente menos, como si esto fuera poco nos estaban cobrando $40 del estacionamiento.
Es una pena que no tengan la capacidad de administrar las mesas y reservaciones, no vuelvo a regresar a ese lugar, ya me habían dicho que el servicio era PÉSIMO y pude comprobarlo.

Es la tercera vez que visito este lugar y siempre me han atendido muy bien, el ambiente genial y tanto los cócteles como la comida siempre es muy buena.

The cocktails were very good. We asked the waiter for recommendations on the menu and what he recommended was good.

Muy mala experiencia. Llegamos, nos atendió un mesero de muy mala gana. Nos sentaron y pasaron 15 minutos sin que nos dieran el menú (ni agua).
Nos levantanos y nos fuimos del lugar. Creo que no se dieron cuenta.

We made reservations but when we got there the place was not very full. The service was excellent, the food was very good. They dont have an outdoor area though, as was stated in the options in open table

Excelente lugar para un trago, o para una comida. La comida es muy buena, los tragos son fantásticos, y la atención (cuando no tienen mucha gente) es excelente. El ambiente en la comida es excepcional, por la tarde noche, muy tranquilo, y por la noche bastante disfrutable, siempre y cuando la banda o lo que sea que haya no esté a niveles inadecuados.
Un cambio en la carta no les haría daño. Tampoco en los tragos.

Very good food, but only go there if you have no intention of having a conversation. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced, but they had an 8 piece brass band playing 20 feet from us the entire time. We were there with friends and had intended on having a conversation—which was literally impossible. If you are into very good Mexican music, want to have great food, and not be able to speak at all, this is your place. If you want great food and want to have a conversation, go elsewhere.
