We enjoyed a beautiful lunch just before Christmas. The scallops were as soft as butter, perfect cooked and full of flavour. Couldn’t fault the meal in any way. Really good and looking forward to going back soon. Tables nicely spread apart and plenty of room

F&B’s large, spacious first -floor dining room is the perfect venue for stress-free pandemic dining. Covid protocols were flagged discreetly after we were seated and dining parties were appropriately distanced. This allowed us to settle in and just enjoy the pleasure of an evening dining out. The menu was varied and the wine list extensive. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

Very spacious, felt very comfortable throughout with all staff wearing face masks & with individual bottles of sanitizer on each table, food was delicious & was served without delay. Waiting staff were very attentive without being overbearing. After Dinner Cocktails were sublime & very reasonably priced! Overall a wonderful experience.

Food quality was much lower than I previously experienced in F&B. Venison very tough. Scallops like warm at best. Orange sponge cake would fail a basic Home Economics test. Quite disappointing really.

I booked lunch at F&B to celebrate my Mother's 80th birthday.
The staff were professional, courteous and accommodating of our needs. The made every effort to make the occasion special and we felt safe throughout.
The food was flavorful and arrived promptly.

Re-booked as had been here for lunch day before and had been very impressed with food & service and COVID hygiene care. On arrival it was explained the care & measures the staff were taking to ensure COVID hygiene measures were followed. However this time there was no verbal explanation although the mini sanitisers were present on the napkins but overall the dinner & evening felt very rushed.

Spacious and airy. Very important in these times.

I had the scallops to start which melted in the mouth, then the chicken to follow which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender meat. The sprouts with bacon and chestnuts were delicious as was the buttery garlic mash. I had the chocolate and peanut butter semifredo with salted caramel ice cream and honeycomb which was all scrummy with only one teeny tiny criticism that it could have been taken out of the freezer a little earlier as it would have been even better had it been served a little softer. It’s a lovely old dining room which gives a sense of occasion and the staff were excellent. All in all a lovely experience.

Beautiful food with excellent service.

Scallops and Terrine starters were both moreish. Fillet steaks were cooked to perfection with lovely sauces. Truffle mash an added bonus!!! Dessert and cheeseboard both delicious. Very well laid out and COVID friendly. (Mini bottle of sanitizer for each diner) Drinks were delicious and service was very attentive. Such a treat for anyone going for a meal.

As I said to the manager on the night, it been over ayear since we were last there and the only thing that has change is the prices on the menu. Excellent food, service and athmosphere. Good adherence to Covid Guidelines. My only concernwould be the distance betwenn the tables. I would recommend this resteraunt to anybody, as they will cater to the best of their ability to specific needs. Thank you and well done.

Fantastic experience.

We ate from the Vegan menu and the food was incredible! Service was extremely good and a great attention to detail from our server Bogdan. Very good safety protocol in place made us feel very safe and relaxed.

Always delivers, child friendly great service and good selection of good quality local products.

A lovely lunch with a good friend. We were the first to arrive and it was a pleasant and comfortable welcome. The covid measures in place were very well thought out and implemented and we felt safe and comfortable. The food was delicious and the dessert wonderful, we each had the milk chocolate and peanut butter semifreddo with cappuccinos. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

We had our wedding reception in Fallon and Byrne and go back every year for dinner on our anniversary. Amazing as always. The duck was the best I’ve ever eaten.

Staff were so reassuring and helpful.....food was very tasty

I ate from the vegan menu and the spinach salad wasn't as tasty as it should have been nor did it compare in complexity to the amazing vegan menu starter I enjoyed in the summer with you...something with a kiwi salsa? The vegan dessert 'honey' comb was a thing of magic but a bit more work to be done on the banana icecream which didnt really work - too 'rustic'. Overall as always the service was great and the atmosphere lovely.
