It wasn’t as good as the first time I went. The eggs were undercooked, the sausage was cold. I was looking forward to the bacon on a stick but it was burnt and my hubby was looking forward to the pot stickers and they ran out. The peach Bellinis are delicious and we made the best of it. We would give them another try.
The entire staff is very attentive. I worked with Aja, and definitely would recommend working with her. Laura also helped during this brunch experience. Very friendly and professional. Several managers stopped by to see how everything was. I want to give props to Chris as he ran out my charge card I left on the table. He was friendly, genuine and professional. Great job!
Great location and varied menu. The good was good, but not great. Green beans were too salty, twice cooked beef was too sweet. Service was excellent.
Good food, atmosphere and some of the best service I’ve had. Stephano was attentive, fun, efficient and made the overall experience a 5 star!
So glad you enjoyed your visit! We look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica
One entree was great but two of us had sub-par food. The salad greens with chicken on it: there was one small medallion of grilled chicken! It was tasty but so small and the greens literally were all green fro peas to mint to lettuce. Color would be nice. The other weak entree was the chicken salad- noodles slimy and overall not tasty. I try every few months or so but this restaurant is so unpredictable.
Our server was amazing!! She was the nicest person and was very amiable. The food was delicious. We asked for the bread and butter, which In My opinion needed more butter. Other than that, it was great, we would come back.
So glad you had a wonderful time! Look forward to seeing you again soon!! -Jessica
Great food and excellent service!
Thank you for dining with us! -Jessica
Great selection of food on the menu to please our group. Friendly service.
Thank you, Michelle! :) -Kerry
One of the best places in DC, no matter what time of day. Excellent food, friendly service, and reasonably priced.
Thank you so much for your review! :) -Kerry
Ordered two steaks medium. One was well done and grey. Was looking forward to the prime rib, which is on the printed menu in the restaurant, but is not currently being served in the restaurant. The restaurant was only about 20% full, yet they seated families with children across from us and behind us. Not exactly the birthday celebration for two adults we had hoped for. This seems to be a common practice, assuming that two adult women don't mind sitting next to families with children. Actually some of us do want the same quiet atmosphere as a heterosexual couple. And with COVID, we would have preferred distance from children who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated - especially when 80% of the room was empty for the entire stay.
Brunch food was outstanding, especially the pancakes, french toast, bacon, brisket, ham, many types of eggs. Dessert was an added bonus, with donuts!
We sat outside and server was very attentive and helpful!
This was the weekend all-you-care-to-eat breakfast buffet. All of the selections were amazing. There were plenty of veggies and salads as well as “normal” breakfast fare. Highly recommended!
The food was so good we ate here twice for dinner during our four day DC visit!
Friendly, professional staff :)
Their appetizers(chicken wings, tuna tartar & pork dumplings) were excellent!
Absolutely loved in for breakfast so we had to try it for dinner and were blown away by our drinks and the outstanding meal. I hope they open one in Boston.
This was my first time at Farmers and Distillers but like the rest or the restaurants in this chain, the food was just mediocre. Got the Southern fried chicken salad and I'm pretty sure not even a steak knife would have been able to cut through the single fried chicken tender on top of the salad. It was hard as a rock and dried out! The service was good! Wait staff was friendly and attentive and since they weren't terribly busy, they let us sit at our outside table beyond the 90 minute limit.
The lower score is only due to having booked after a supposed person with Celiac disease said they had food there, when it says on the menu that if you have a serious condition you shouldn’t eat there. Hustled off the patio from our server and had a decent cocktail at the bar to plan where else we could go
Their weekend brunch food is usually very good to excellent, but today something was off.
It was definitely noisier than usual, as well, for some reason the music was playing at a louder volume?
Servicer went above and beyond compare to our last visit; we had the waiter
Oh no! I am very sorry for the disappointing outcome to your brunch visit this time. I would love the chance to touch base and hopefully turn this around!
