   Great experience, had the tasting menu to try options we don't normally go for. Was pleasantly surprised. Waiter had good knowledge about each dish and very attentive. Will definitely be visiting there again.

   Upon arrival, although we we’re welcomed…nobody took our coats?? Service was nothing more than ok…staff were friendly but lacked professionalism! I don’t expect to have to pour my own water and wine at such an expensive venue! Food was alternative, tasty and beautifully presented! However, the food was hugely overpriced…£25 for a mushroom biryani…really?? Swanky venue with good ambience…definitely has potential if professionalism improved and not so overpriced!

   Our recent experience at Farzi Cafe was outstanding. The food is delicious and delivers just the right amount of fusion. The mango solero is a must at this restaurant, our personal favourites were the butter chicken bao buns and Gosht Parda biryani. The service was exemplary, especially from our waiter, Ashin. He was courteous, proficient and made excellent recommendations.

   I was the victim of a card fraud when booking through Open Table. Their website has been compromised. People should be very careful if they chose to use this booking platform. ***************************************************************************

   The ambience and service was top notch but personally I didn’t think the food was all that. A couple nibbles and it came to over £100. I don’t mind splashing out on food but please fill me up

    Our meal was absolutely delicious. We had a selection of starts and bao to share followed by a main course each with breads, chutneys, raita and rice. Although it’s not cheap I would definitely recommend Farzi Cafe to others as the relaxed atmosphere combined with amazing Indian fusion food makes for a very memorable meal. Our waiter and the other servers were all friendly and attentive and the restaurant even brought us a surprise dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary. The wine, tequila and whiskey selection is also impressive.

    We visited this restaurant for our New Year’s Eve dinner and were disappointed with the experience. The restaurant was beautifully presented with a nice ambience but we were very disappointed with the service from the staff. The food itself was very high quality and tasted very nice but we were not given some of the items on the NYE menu courses. For the desserts the staff failed to provide the paan macaroons and the churan candy. There were also other customers that were not provided that also. My wife also found a small piece of plastic in her dessert which she informed the waiting staff which they replied “It may be edible plastic” which we found extraordinary and shocking. They failed to apologise for this mistake which we were offended by. The total price of the bill was not worth the experience we had and left a sour end to our special New Year’s Eve night.

    The food at Farzi has definitely gone downhill. As friendly as staff were, we got rushed into ordering everything at once even though we weren’t ready. The food was nice but it definitely wasn’t worth the amount you get charged for it. It was also a little strange that our bottle of Prosecco was put in a cool bucket on the other side of the restaurant and not brought closer to the table. Overall, none of the party we were with would visit again, it was quite overrated.

    Excellent food overall Unassuming restaurant frontage but quite smart inside Lamb shank, lamp chops and lamb briyani were good. Salmon starter and chicken bao were ok but we loved the Saag Burrata - not sure the fusion creations worked that well Good portions except for Aburi Salmon - inhale and it disappeared Having good company really elevated our meal, so thankful for the ambiance

    Table of 3 chose the Silver set menu for our Christmas lunch. We are all Pescetarians so made a request to swap out the Turkey starter and they were more than accommodating. All foods were genuinely delicious. Great powerful flavours and spices but well balanced. Well seasoned rice, delicious pillowy, flakey and warm breads. The most moorish pineapple raita!?! but the most surprising win was the dessert. Essence of Christmas was gorgeous to look at and eat but the most simple and unassuming sponge was by far the treat of the night! 100% recomend this whole menu, especially as vegetarian/pescetarians! Everything was spot on, including attentive, friendly and intentional staff! Thank you Farzi!

    The menu is limited but the food was surprisingly lovely. Very expensive for what you get. We paid £40pp just for one course with a glass of vine. That’s double most Indian restaurants but you are in the heart of Covent Garden so must not complain.

    Delicious food as always, Surya our waiter was fantastic and very accommodating- the music was a bit too loud at points and he kindly helped to bring this down for us so we could hear our conversation! Will definitely be back, thank you Farzi!

    Had booked table, rude welcome by someone who then took us to the wrong table. The first thing she did when we sat down was to tell us what time they needed the table back! Another rude waiter approached us 4 times within as many minutes asking to take our order. We received the bread half way through the main course after we asked for it to come with the starter. Flamed salmon starter tasteless and an absolute waste of money! Lamb Byriani and lamb shank OK but nothing special. Chicken tikka marsala tasted like it came out of an own brand jar of a low quality supermarket. Cocktails OK. Service so terrible that we didn't bother to stay around for desserts. Extortionate pricing for quality of food! Loos disgusting! We went to a Chinese restaurant for dim sum for lunch and the total cost was a tenth of what we paid at Farzi but the food and service was infinitely better! We won't be going there again! Appalling!

    I visited here with my two nieces, we had booked the tastings menu and at first I thought I’d made a huge mistake as when we actually looked at the menu we thought there was nothing on there that we’d like!!!! (I’d booked online in a rush as every restaurant we we’re trying to get in was fully booked!!!) However it turned into one of the best experiences that we will talk about for years to come! We decided to try every dish that came out and we were certainly not disappointed!!! The different flavours of each dish were totally amazing. We were so excited to see what the next dish to come out was. So the moral of the story is don’t turn your nose up at anything until you’ve at least tried it one! High compliments to the chef indeed.

    Good completely over priced for what you get. I get the theme - modern twist…but it’s not great when you pay £70 per head and walk away still feeling hungry. I portions are ridiculous and the taste is ok…not worth it at all.
