This place was exactly what I was looking for. We wanted to celebrate our engagement low key and this was perfect! We are definitely coming back!
Went for dinner. Beautiful outdoor patio. Excellent service. All employees wearing PPE. And the food was excellent! The salmon tartare cones are a must try! The homemade Cavatelli with freshly shaved black truffle was amazing! And the Beef Wellington was so good! The cocktail menu was great and the Sommelier offered some very nice wine suggestions. Overall excellent experience! Will definitely be back!
Food was excellent as always. Service a bit slow. Only problem was not enough spacing. We we seated at a table with the next table about 3 feet away. We moved but still too close. Not sure any were the mandatory 6’
Wonderful and creative food. Beautiful outdoor ambience
Love this place. The perfect, cute spot for happy hour, dates, a chill dinner.
I have eaten here often. The food was amazing but a bit pricey with not special enough choices for the $. It was a prefix menu which was not clear on the website when we made the reservation.
Service was good. Very rigid in substitutions. Overall I enjoyed and relaxed, but will not go back for the prefix brunch menu.
Great food, good vibe. I will definitely go back.
Cocktails were amazing! Food delicious. Highly recommend!
The food and service were outstanding. The only thing is that they add a "Covid" charge onto your bill. We were not aware there would be a charge. No biggie but a heads up would be nice.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I never write reviews but this is one of my new favorite restaurants so I felt the need to say something :) Amazing gin spritz, focaccia bread, and truffle pasta, and even more amazing ambiance! Can't wait to come back soon!
The ambiance was absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect spot for a romantic birthday date with my girlfriend. The burrata with poached pears surprised me the most. It was amazing! Overall, great experience. I would definitely go back.
Not worth the hype or the price tag. My breakdown of customer's value for a $30 entree: $15 for very good ambiance/built environment, $10 for good service, $5 for mediocre food quality (health, sensoric, suitability). Went on a busy Monday night during Covid. Paid the 4% Covid fee. We were seated in direct view of the kitchen entrance close to two other couples. The incandescent lighting is way darker than the photos show but glad they use less energy. Food is the worst part. (1) Spanish octopus with avocado dish is salty and lacks acid. (2) The only token vegan entree is disappointing at best. Lasagna in Impossible Meat and spinach bolognese has too much sauce, salty and greasy, not enough Impossible Meat, although adding anymore would add to the greasiness, too deconstructed so imagine dumping lasagna pasta in a bowl of canned sauce. (3) Sea bass with basil pesto dish is forgettable, the enoki mushroom is very sour like it's been drenched in vinegar.
CA is facing the wrath of climate change and environmental racism but I'm not sure where they stand. No indication of regenerative organic ranching/fishing/farming practices, "Cool Food Meal." Not a certified CA Green Business or SustainableWorks certified business. Need many more vegan options that don't insult the taste bud. Given the price tag they had better source everything from Erewhon down the street.
Great food, service and energy. Enjoy Fia very much.
Great atmosphere - SUCH a gorgeous restaurant with great food! The brunch is a good deal if you take advantage of the bottomless mimosas, margs or modelo, but the only alternative they offer is bottomless coffee or tea for the same price which ends up being poor value for someone not trying to get drunk at 11:30am. Great service and very COVID friendly staff, seating and protocols.
- Amazing food: The truffle gnocchi is outstanding. The chocolate dome is luxuriously smooth.
- Great service.
- Limited cocktail options.
- Cozy atmosphere: dimly lit, patio heaters.
- Value: very expensive. Expect to pay ~$200 for 2 with drinks.
Solid food, just a few dishes were a tad too salty: the octopus and lobster bolognese. Service was excellent. My favorites were the salmon cones and chicken liver mousse but the beef wellington was also great! Ambiance was very trendy with young crowds. Fun spot for sure
BEAUTIFUL ambiance. I mean absolutely stunning. The entrees were great, the appetizers were okay. Cocktails were a bit sugary, but the espresso martini was fabulous.
I’ll definitely go back and get the corn agnolotti, halibut and an espresso martini!
Took my fiance here for the first time, it exceeded our expectations, probably one of LA's top gems, something for everyone. 5 stars across the board.
Really a nice, cozy and romantic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a couple or a small group.
Excellent!! Love this place
So underrated! Deff the best restaurant in California! Everything was perfect. Food AMAZING ! Drinks, service environment just wow !
Loved the ambiance, the service and the food. Everything met and exceeded our expectations. Our friends liked the experience so much that they made reservations for the upcoming weekend before leaving the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!
Everything was wonderful - the food, the wine, the service, the ambiance and the Covid safety measures.
Had a cousin in town. This was one of the best meals I’ve experienced in LA. Everything was perfect.
Food almost inedible - too salty. Salad was tasty.
Best food and service in Santa Monica! Outside seating with a fire place.
The food was a bit pricey (one glass of wine and the chocolate dome total was $50), but the service was phenomenal. I was having issues with my reservation, and the host was extremely helpful and made sure we were seated at the time we wanted. Will definitely return, but maybe next time with a little extra money in my wallet!
Amazing! Loved every bite
Far and away the nicest outdoor restaurant setting I have experienced since the advent of covid.
Came here during covid restrictions. The restaurant seemed very clean. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves. We felt very comfortable. The food was awesome. We had the hamachi, and the salmon cones which were great. We also had the chicken liver it was very good. The grilled corn with black truffle was awesome, not a huge corn person but loved this dish! Finally, we had the lobster bolognese it was good, but may be the least favorite of the dishes we had. Lastly, we had the olive oil cake, which was exceptional. It was light and the flavors were very complementary of the each other.
Overall, the food was great, the service was great as well. Can’t wait to go back and try them for brunch :).
Fia has an amazing atmosphere that you wont find anywhere else in Santa Monica. The food was amazing and the manager goes out of his way to keep patrons happy. It is an expensive restaurant so don't be surprised by the prices.
Really enjoyed it, will definitely be coming back
Birthday for a good friend during Covid it was so nice to get out and have some great company, ambiance and food!
Amazing food and cocktails
Service and atmosphere were amazing. The prices were average especially for the area. The food just fell flat the crispy tuna lacked flavor and was mush on mush. The chicken pate was great but not original. My girlfriend ordered the scallops, which came out 5 minutes before my food and they were over cooked, but the risotto was done well. I got the Chicken Parm which was delicious but had nothing creative or different about it. The broccoli was both of our favorites of our entrees we loved the preserved lemon. Cocktails were great and the service Staff was above and beyond!! Would recommend to a friend, we would probably try something new instead of returning.
Went for a good friends birthday! Amazing service and the best tasting food! Will definitely be back!
This place is very comfortable atmosphere in a relaxed setting. The service was amazing and the food was just as good. We made reservations and was given a two hour time limit but that’s understandable during these time(dam COVID). This was plenty of time as we were able to good conversation without any disturbance as it feels like your eating at home in the backyard with friends and family. Food was amazing. This is a high quality place, so be prepared for high quality prices! Can’t wait to go back and oh the chocolate bomb and olive oil dessert was sooo gooood and a must try!
A fantastic restaurant. Every time we go it is a special treat.
Great experience for brunch with friends on the weekend
