Good food, good atmosphere, good service
Food was very good. However the hostess was very rude. When I asked why she seated other people first after arriving behind us, she got loud and did not provide a response.
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner at Fiamma Centro. The food was delicious and the vibe of the restaurant was upbeat. It was crowded, but that was expected on a holiday. We got a pizza for an appetizer to split and each ordered and entree as well!
Food here is always top notch. Need a better tap selection. Didn't stop us from having a great meal.
Very accommodating even for a busy holiday. Only thing better than the service was the food. Will definitely be back
I reserved outdoor seating but it was starting to rain when we arrived. They had already moved us inside and totally saved the day, which was Mother’s Day.
Service was slow, even though it was not crowded. Portions were small and the food really wasn't that great. There isn't any flexibility in the menu and everything is a la carte. There were flying insects in some of the windows and we had to move our table, which didn't help the over all experience. Very overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. This was my second time with the same experience.
The best Italian restaurant and atmosphere around.
Not good, and this was the second time with same experience
Food prepared poorly
Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Great evening, the vibe at Fiamma Centro is authentic Italian! Cocktails totally hit the spot!
Other than the overly efficient bus person that wanted to clear our plates several times while we were eating, we had a wonderful evening!
Food was a 8.5/10, service was great, ambiance was amazing! We also got the Rochester pizza (forgot to take a picture) and it was spectacular!
Ate outside, seven meals, one Vegan , lots of wine and everything was great.
Great food and great service. We’ve never been before but will return. Not an quiet fining environment if that’s what you’re looking for.
It could have been a different cooking staff due to it being a Tuesday night. The chef doesn’t like to make changes to the options as to how things are listed on the menu. Which is understandable, but if someone doesn’t enjoy something as you have it a change shouldn’t be that big of an issue to make. It’s an Italian menu, but when an Italian family is questioning how things are made and why they used such ingredients in regards to too much salt in the meatballs, etc etc. it makes you wonder. Aside from the chef having a “complex”... the staff as far as servers (we had Tyler and Jacob, along with two young ladies who were very patient as well as easy going) customer service was great, they were personable, and they understood the frustrations however they can’t tell the chef what he can or can’t do. Aside from the pros and cons, this may be a great place on the weekends and we also could have just caught them on a bad night. This was the first experience we had there, and it won’t stop us from going back and giving them another chance at redemption. Everyone should at least give them a shot, menu choices play a huge role and if you aren’t used to homemade Italian dishes then you won’t be nearly as picky. I appreciate the staff who served on that night as well as the bartender and hope to have a better experience the next time!!
The food was delicious! Roberto was an excellent server as well!
Great food, drinks were fair
First time and glad we went. The food and portions were great. The only thing lacking was the service. We wanted to order an appetizer and he discouraged us, saying that it would delay thing a lot and our dinners would take a long tine so we should order all together. We didn’t listen and our appetizer was out in just minutes. After we ordered our dinner, that came out in less than 10 min. Very quick! The only downside is the waiter never offered to get us any more drinks besides the ones we brought from the bar. Actually we didn’t see him again until we were well done with our food and over waiting and instead of ordering more drinks we just wanted to leave and go somewhere that wanted to serve us. The food was great!
We love the food here but I was appalled at the state of the women’s rest room. It was dirty and disgusting—which is a real turnoff as you diner — you start to wonder if the cleanliness is that poor in the food prep area. Really need to pay attention to restrooms, folks.
Passing through overnight found this restaurant on open table. We enjoyed the experience the food was very good.
Really cool ambiance. The food was delicious.
Food was fantastic! Nice place with great ambiance.
Great service, fabulous food and wine. We had to move tables because cold air was blowing on us but was not a big deal. Tables are close but I’d still return. I had said it was my husband’s birthday when making the reservation but was never acknowledged.
We've been doing curbside pickup from Fiamma for months. Was such a treat to eat in! Our server Antonio was wonderful. The food was superb. We highly recommend this jewel of a restaurant.
The restaurant is beautiful and our waiter, Roberto, did a great job.
I ordered the Burrata ala Barese salad. I thought it was a little expensive for a salad at $16, but when it arrived it was enough for all 4 of us and delicious. They should indicate that it serves 4 on the menu.
Then I ordered the Diavola Pizza and it was outstanding...very spicy but great. One of our friends ordered the San Daniele pizza and it was just okay. My son ordered the Costatelle Di Maiale and it was outstanding. The pork chops were tender and the sauce was delicious. My husband had a special with fetticini and a cream lobster sauce. There was plenty of lobster pieces but the fetticine was way too "al dente".
For the price it would have been nice to have some delicious warm home made bread, but it was small pieces of mediocre bread instead.
My only real complaint was the price and value for the price. Everything is ala carte which made it very expensive if you wanted a side with your entre. Adding a potato was $6 on our entrees which were already $26-28. So other than the salad, we did not order any side dishes.
A small carafe of house wine (almost 2 glasses) was $15 and a better wine was $12 a glass. So, if you have a special occasion and don't mind spending a couple of hundred dollars for four (our bill with tip was $225- and that was with 2 pizzas, 1 pasta entree and 1 pork chop entree ) then give this place a try. But, the next time we take another couple out for dinner I think I will try a more reasonably priced place.
Service was decent at best. Our waiter was knowledgeable but short. The host kept walking around looking half lost. Bread was served cold, no butter offered nor given upon request. Oil on table, no seasonings. App and Entree had to be ordered at same time, not a huge deal but and odd policy. "House" wine is $15 a glass, overpriced cocktails as well. Food was good, but for the price I expected far better. Overall poor experience.
Great food. Great bartenders. Great service.
Be careful to confirm reservations and stay on top of the hostess. Our table was given away to another couple while we were waiting at the bar. However, it was a blessing in disguise, as we had a great time eating dinner at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. The delicious cappuccino at the end of the night made for a perfect evening out.
I was a bit surprised at the lack of "safety separation" forCOVID. I have been vaccinated so I was not afraid, however, tables seemed somewhat close and the bar had no screen separations. other wise an excellent meal
Once again... just a fabulous experience overall! My gf and I brought our folks for the their first visits and they absolutely loved the place. Our server Tyler, whom we’ve had in past visits and were happy to have again this time was attentive and responsive as always, exceptional service. And the food... Wow! The pizzas are the best, the veal parm is incredible, the steaks were perfectly cooked, and the pasta dishes were perfection! Thank you again for another impressive evening! -RC
While the food and service is always good at Fiamma’s, it was deeply disappointing to see they were not following COVID guidelines.
Tables upstairs were right on top of each other with no appropriate spacing.
The bartender and one of the cooks were only wearing a plastic face shield but no actual mask. One cough or sneeze and it would be in the food or cocktails.
Perception is everything and unfortunately, it can be perceived this restaurant is not safe in current pandemic times.
We had an early reservation (5:30) it was nice and laid back. Service was Great and our food was delicious! You cannot go wrong with any of their pizzas and if you haven’t tried the grilled octopus app, I highly recommend it. This is one of our favorite places and it never disappoints!
Always a delightful and delicious experience- love the new location.
The food is authentic Italian cuisine! The atmosphere is industrial -trendy and the wait staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. A great place for a date night!
Very good!! Only complaint I had was being tall I was uncomfortable at the table I was at because my knees were hitting the top of the table. Food was delicious and worth it !
THIS WAS OUR 1ST VISIT HERE.
VERY NICE PLACE
EVERY THING WAS VERY GOOD !!
WE WILL BE BACK.
Very nice restaurant and perfect Saint Valentine Day! We got an upgrade for standart table that was much nicer and the dimmed light+pleasent atmosphere did their work well. We will def come back again!
Had a reservation for 845pm and was seated at 5pm to a dirty table with dirty plates and no silverware.
The drink given to my girlfriend tasted like rubbing alcohol mixed with olive juice and jalapeños. She asked for a Virgin cocktail...
Asked waiter for his recommendations and the chicken dish I got was as hard and crunchy as can be. My girlfriend tried to return her pasta dish for something else, but the waiter said the kitchen the kitchen was closed.
The waiter gave us a discount but on my statement I was charged over 99 dollars for disgusting food and drinks while sitting at a filthy table.
My worst experience in Rochester- avoid.
Perfect choice for Valentine’s Day!
