   This Firebirds location is in decline. Service is poor, waitstaff was rude, food was below average. Fireplaces here haven't worked in quite some time.

    Family Birthdays: January 12, February 8 & 14. We save up & do 3 at 1 time in a very nice restaurant. This is the second year in a row we have chosen FIREBIRDS. We live outside of Mebane NC. It’s difficult to choose which fantastic restaurant to choose at SOUTHPOINT, but we’re definitely FIREBIRDS fans. Loyalty, reliability, dependability, respect, atmosphere, great service and absolutely fabulous food within 40 miles of home is worth every drop of gas & every bite. We can always get the best of all these things at FIREBIRDS 😁

    Good food. Steak over done. Lobster queso was great as was the sangria. Watch where you sit relative to doors can be cold. Had to ask to be sent a server after 10 min at table.

    This had to be one of the best experiences, my family, and I have had at Firebirds! Our server was beyond excellent. She was very attentive to all of our needs, and was constantly checking the table. The food was cooked to absolute perfection. Celebrating my sister’s birthday was definitely a wonderful experience. Thank you Firebirds for making our day.

    Nice dinner with friends. Wow, have their prices increased! We all opted for healthier food and had salads w/ meat instead of any of the steaks.

    The service was the worst I've ever had at Firebirds. I'm not sure if the server was new or what. We sat at the table for over 15 minutes waiting to order. Several tables around us came in after us and received their food before we even ordered. They had a different server. We came to try the new brunch menu but the food was disappointing. Just not a good experience.

    Service was terrible, server barely gave us any attention. We had to ask for everything, she never asked if we wanted more drinks. We had to wait for her to come to our table for over 15 minutes after our food came and we need sauces. Our food was cold. Restaurant looks run down, old dirty carpet. Will not be back.

    Service by Waitress Megan Cannady was excellent. She was very attentive; knowledgeable and cheerful. Manager and entire staff was friendly, outgoing, cheerful helpful and awesome. Food was outstanding and a great value. Definitely going back and would highly recommend.

    Greeter was not friendly. Waited about 10 minutes. Restaurant was about 20% occupied. Reception desk sat us far back right next to kitchen. I asked if we could just sit in tables in the same room but not right next to kitchen. He said we’d have to go back to desk and wait because none of the rest of the tables were clean. We left

    The server was great, prompt and friendly. I like your booths and how you seem to have spread tables away from each other more to give added protection as we continue to deal with Covid, Flu, etc. The food was good. Except the corn chowder tasted more like tortilla soup with some potatoes and corn added. I was expecting a creamy chowder with a milk base. If that is your chowder recipe, please tell customers. It was pretty average. But the BLT salad was tasty and quite large.

    My wife is a celiac and unfortunately when they brought a chicken sandwich instead of chicken on the salad, they just took the chicken off the bun and put it on a new salad. The gluten from the bun made her sick.

    I normally love dining at Firebirds but this particular visit was not a good one. First of all, our waitress was very slack. Her timing to come to the table had very large gaps and she never once asked to refill our waters or even ask if we wanted another drink from the bar. At one point when we needed her, we witnessed her close to the back of the restaurant on her phone. The only time she was even timely with us was when we requested our check and paid for our food and while her service did not warrant a tip, she was tipped very minimal because personally her service did not warrant it. Secondly, the pasta we ordered was not good at all. The sauce was very runny and it made it more like a soup. While the dish was sent back and taken off of the check, it changed the entire mood where I did not want to eat anything else as I waited a while to get that dish.

    Our party consisted of six people. My husband has Parkinson's and is a little slow these days, and my two grandkids have too much energy to hold still for long. The wait staff was excellent and took it all in stride. Our waitress was patient and friendly. She put up with all of us and was particularly good with my granddaughters.

    Usually service is outstanding but this last time was very mid. Our server kept rushing thru our order which resulted in her coming back to our table several times to confirm what we ordered. Before we would finish our sentence, she was off to the next table. It came off rude and not the norm for this restaurant. Several items we ordered turned out the kitchen didn't have key ingredients but the server never relayed this to us and placed the order anyways.

    We made reservations for noon and our table was ready when we arrived. Our server, Krissy, was very attentive and offered additional information about the menu items. The food came out promptly and was very good. Alyssa also came over and checked on our table which made us feel like valued guests.
