Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - North Wales
Nice atmosphere. Great service. We will go again soon.
Great food, service was a little slow
Love the place. Only problem was my husband had prime rib and it was all fatty and not cooked properly. Other meals were great. Manager didn't seem concerned about the prime rob when we told him.
It was just ok. I do think it is a bit over priced and the food is average.
Great food. Service was great. Try the meatloaf!
Very good will definitely go back and recommend to orhets
Really good food, a decent selection of beer and good service. Not a ‘high end’ steak house but a very good value overall with no shortcomings. There is some inconsistency between speed of food, service and portion sizes but consistently satisfied with the experience. This review is for my 4th time to the place and will return again.
Never disappoints. Great food, service and ambience.
My wife & I have eaten here at least 5 or 6 times. We love it. This was the first time we were seated out on the "front porch" area. The sound level out there is absolutely wonderful! It gets you out of the big box loud area, and into a much more relaxed/quiet setting. We'll ask to be seated out there if at all possible in the future! Food and service and drinks were all terrific, as always.
Very positive. Only hiccup was the slow check in and seating process. When we arrived for our 4:30 pm reservation, there were several parties waiting to be seated — odd as the restaurant was full of empty tables and they had three people working the front desk.
Love this place! Great food, great service, and nice atmosphere
Steak was charred and tasted bitter. Mashed potatoes were dry. Great, friendly service.
Love the food always!
Food was very tasty, my steak was cooked perfectly. My guests Filet-kabob was cooked perfectly. Sides are generous. Service is attentive. Timing might have been a little fast with entrees coming out a few minutes before apps were finished, but we were not rushed either...we felt welcome to sit at the end of our meal. We had dinner on a Monday night at 7:30, seated immediately. Although we did not have a drink at the bar it looks very inviting.
It was very noisy. Even though we had a reservation, we didn’t get seated for another 40 minutes. The waitress Shawna was amazing. The prices are pretty steep for the small portions. The noise level in the main dining area was very loud. We requested to be moved to the outside tables. My son is autistic and this was overwhelming for him.
Our server was pleasant and on top of everything from taking our orders to clearing the plates when we were finished
Food was delicious and they accommodate my gluten free preference. The mixed berry sundae which was gluten free was awesome and enough for 2 to share.
We had to wait an additional 40 minutes past our reservation time to be sat when there were multiple open tables. Once sat the waitress was very nice.
We enjoyed our visit and our server was very accommodating. The timeline for the foods arrival seems very slow. To her credit this was mentioned by our server. I have been here three times and each time that is an issue. Perhaps time for a kitchen reorganization.
We enjoyed our meal & service was excellent. The ambiance is fantastic too! We'll be back!
Food was ok, not worth what we paid. Felt rushed. We were celebrating a special occasion and wanted to enjoy the meal and company. Very loud. Tables too close together. Very impersonal.
Great customer care! My chicken was undercooked and they did everything to go out of their way while making new one . Love it there
Very good all around. Must make reservations!
Great food, great location, and great atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed our visit.
Seated near take out staging area, food was put on shelf attached to our booth. Food wasn’t super hot, was just warm.
The prime rib, filet and lobster tail was excellent. The loaded bake potato was encrusted in salt, so we couldn’t eat the skin. The tater tots were seasoned VERY heavily in salt after they were cooked. They need to lighten up on the salt.
Went to celebrate a couple Birthday’s. Good food!
Much better than expected. I had heard bad reviews from my neighbors. The wine is overpriced. Well ok, even the food is overpriced but it’s good so I didn’t mind. The wine is ave at best. I would go back but I wouldn’t pay the wine menu prices.
Very good service and food. I took my mom and dad here for their birthday. I recommend their devil eggs for an appetizer. I will definitely be returning!
Excellent dinning experience at this location. Salads were very good. Caesar Salad with grilled chicken was exceptionally good. Pineapple Chicken was okay; son mentioned chicken a little tough. Portions very good in size; good value.
Best carrot cake I ever had.
We went to Firebirds to celebrate my birthday and my son’s birthday. I really wanted a good burger. It was just okay as were the appetizers and dessert. Portions were fine but nothing extraordinary. Our service was very good and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It just wasn’t what I expected.
Four of us cane for dinner. We were seated within four minutes of our reservation. The service was impeccable. The entire staff was so cheery and pleasant. The food was done perfectly including the mixed vegetables which had a light crunch to them. Our seafood dishes were not over cooked and the steak dish was done as ordered. First time there but we will definitely come back but next time with a larger group.
We dined with another couple, and the service was very good. One notable flaw was that my filet was
ordered medium rare but came to the table well done ! The waitress and the manager on duty didi their
best to rectify the situation, and a properly cooked steak was presented after a short time. But the delay
in not eating my entree when the other ate theirs definitely took what usually is a wonderful dining
experience and turned it somewhat sour ! I have written reviews in the past that have rated the dining experience either 4 or 5 star, but this one fell short. We will try again in the not too distant future to see
if this was just a one time slip-up or not.
Been to this location 5-6 times, nice place, great architectural design, been to other locations, Like the menu. Service is a problem, inconsistent. They pay more attention to 5 oz. wine pour, than to when it finally gets done and to the table. Managers always come over to greet and get feedback... but keeping staff moving seems to be a thorn in their side.
I'll be back..let's see what the next bugaboo is...
Took quite a long time to receive our meals after ordering. The salmon on my salad was an end piece that was small and not very meaty. Considering it was the main part of my meal on top of just vegetables this was disappointing. Liked the booth and ambiance very much. Others enjoyed their burgers and pineapple chicken.
Excelldd service. Food was well prepared but a little heavy on the salt. Sodas were small with too much ice at a cost of $3 each and you had to pay for each refill. Needed several as a result if the above.
Very nice great food
It’s a shame that the experience of the smell outside, which is fantastic, doesn’t come close to being matched by the experience inside, which is horrible. There were 3 people at the front desk, who ranged from clueless to wet rags. set the tone right off bat. The waitress was very pleasant and the only saving grace of the evening. The cocktails tasted very good, but were very small for the prices charged. The food is a complete disappointment. The steak, vegetables and fish were both stone cold. Again not worth the price charged. Im perfectly willing to plunk down $30 for a ribeye, but I do expect it to be hot and have some flavor and not taste like it just came off a Foreman Grill. The baked potato was cooked nicely. And when that’s the high point of a meal, that’s not exactly saying much. McDonald’s has figured out how to serve hot potatoes as well.
Was also surprised when they sat an older man wearing a hat and younger man wearing a backwards hat. We’d just as soon go to Longhorn. You expect that type of clientele there, it’s less expensive and most importantly, the food tastes better.
Good drinks and appetizers. Nice atmosphere.
Bartender wet-wiped bartop but didnt dry it. Smelly dirty rags on bartop.
Wineglass was crusty on outside.
Food was really overpriced.
Had to ask for drink refills twice after we got to our table.
Waited 15 minutes for table even though we did call ahead.
Limited standing room at front entrance. We were in the way while waiting to be seated.
Food was delicious. Disappointed in checkin. 3 people standing there, had a 8:00 reservation, said would be a few minutes, just had to clear the table. We waited 15 minutes before I asked what was going on. 3 people standing around and forgot about us. Server was awesome. Disappointed that got salads 1st, then bread, appetizer came immediately after. HATE being rushed, especially when spending $100. Should be app, salad, entree, right?? Caesar salad very good, croutons amazing. Lobster queso also great. We both had filet, ordered mine medium, not pink at all. Wrapped in bacon, but bacon was raw, wish it Had been crispier. Split the carrot cake for dessert, outstanding!!! Overall very good dinner. Think it’s a little pricey .
