   The food was not good. Maybe because it was close to closing time. You can tell it was not prepared with care and rushed. I was very disappointed for my birthday dinner.

   The food was cooked to perfection. I had the Salmon salad, the portion of Salmon was good and cooked to perfection. My husband had the ribs and they were excellent, plenty of meat and also cooked to perfection. The potato, not so good, tough. Our server Ricardo was excellent! He was very attentive but not overly. He did a wonderful job! We were so pleased with our server and the food!! We will return.

   We took advantage of the free meal for veterans on Memorial Day. Arrived a bit early for our reservation and was immediately seated. The wait staff was very efficient and pleasant. Our food was perfectly prepared and swiftly delivered. Firebirds is our favorite, special occasion restaurant. Always excellent food and service.

   My husband had the spare ribs he will definitely be ordering those again. This is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent. I have the fillet mignon which is always cooked they way I like it.

    If you are going to continue to assume yourself in the higher end dining space, please consider some standards expected of your patrons. For example, having a level of etiquette expectation such as not using your cell phone at the table with the volume up watching videos which distracts and diminishes the experience with other diners is a start. A dress code such as no baseball caps and inappropriate attire should be allowed. The experience tonight was the worst ever because of rude and patrons beside us with very poor etiquette. It was like being at a lower end diner . We will start going to true high end establishments that aren’t afraid to set standards and hold patrons accountable. I realize some people don’t know etiquette but there are establishments for them where there are no standards .

    Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. We never had to ask for refills on drinks. She was always on top of things. Two of our party ordered brunch items and both really liked them. Food was very good as usual. This was for a birthday lunch and the card signed by the servers was an unexpected but lovely touch.

    All in all the food and service were very good. My only disappointment was the lack of a dress code. We saw everything from Prom dresses to spandex workout shorts and tank tops. Not the experience you expect from a nice restaurant. Especially the lack of respect when it comes to clothing in public.....

    Picked a great time to go, a little earlier than the dinner rush. 3 of the 5 in our party had never been and they all liked it. Great service. We made a reservation in advance and got seated right away.

    Our waitress seemed new. She was sweet and polite but not enough experience yet and probably not alot of training. One on our party ordered the big ribeye. The steak was absolutely terrible after trying 3 times. The kitchen did not understand "Pittsburghed" not to mention the steak was so thin there was no way it could be cooked medium rare. One time it came out with a very hot ember still burning in the burnt steak. We are talking ashes on top. Salad came out with entrees (my pet peeve) and we were sat with several groups of prom kids in a small "private" room. Understand about the kids, but we were a senior party trying to catch up and really would have preferred to just be out in the common area without all the celebration going on around of us.     I wish I could say that it was awesome as it has always been, but I can not. I wish I could say maybe because it was Mother’s Day my service was poor, but I can’t because it really seemed like other tables were eating and drinking. We had a 630 reservation, get seated right away. Had appetizers and drinks. After that it took 30 minutes for them to tell us that the fish my wife ordered was not available anymore. No problem she ordered something else. 30 minutes later no food. No problem I’ll pay for our drinks and we’ll leave. At that time all the food shows up! Ordered my steak medium well, it comes out medium rare, my daughter ordered hers medium, it comes out well done. We’ve had some really good food at firebirds, but this was not one of them.

    We came to dine at Firebirds on Sunday for Mothers Day and we had the nicest waiter, Mika was his name and he was great! Our entire visit was outstanding!! We definitely will be returning and we’re asking for Mika as our waiter! We have come there for many years and Nicole Cirone was always our waitress and she isn’t there any longer!     Overall good experience with great food. We had reservations but still had to wait 20 minutes which made no sense and was poor management. Server was sweet and nice but slow and got our order wrong. Again food was great ambiance was cool.

    The menu items sound better than they taste. Our waitress was wonderful. We left half of our meal uneaten because the salmon was undercooked. The sides dishes were overcooked and underwhelming which is unfortunate because previously we had a nicer dining experience there.
