Nice place, great location with a cool vibe. The food was just average all around. Our calamari app was quite chewy. The petite strip was bland and unimaginative. Bacon wrapped meatloaf was actually pretty tasty but the garlic mashed potatoes that came with it were quite cold. The crab cakes were solid but nothing that you should go out of your way for.
I would say the highlight of our meal was the large cookie dessert. Drinks were also well made and tasty. I would say this is a good place to grab a drink but I wouldn't have a whole meal here again. The value just wasn't there. Price didn't equal quality.
Was very surprised that the food was not better than it was. I ordered the baby back ribs that were very dry. My husband was so looking forward to the Prime Rib which they were out of. Unusual for a Saturday night at 7:00 when you only have that item on the weekends. Not sure I would go back there for a meal.
Food was hot, delicious , and cooked correctly.
The menu is excellent ... from pizza & burgers & tacos to steak & crab ... it’s an open environment with a higher degree of noise but it seems to work well overall.
Our waiter was superb & couldn’t have been more professional. We brought our own Birthday Cake and each piece was decorated on the plate and served individually. I was especially impressed by that.
Yes, we’ll be back.
Our experience was mixed. My ribs were excellent but two people ordered burgers which were way overcooked. Mussels were very tasty but not much of a serving for $23 (and half a dozen shells were empty!). Our server was very attentive but when the host seated the 5 of us at a table set up for 6, neither he nor anyone else came to take away the extra chair and place setting (we eventually did that ourselves). So all in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price, we expected more.
Food was not hot.
Great drinks, great menu, great vibe!
Horrible food. Oysters were not freshly shucked. Don’t know how long they had been sitting opened. Tuna tartar was awful. Waiter didn’t even ask how our food was, nor why we didn’t eat most of it. Not going back.
We always enjoy our dining experiences at Firepoint Grill. The food is always properly prepared.
It was approx 4;15 pm when we satdown, with a reservation. Nice booth, clenn and comfortable.
Woman showed up in about 5 minutes and took a drink order. Seemed like forever until our drinks were delivered. I ordered a Southern Comfort Manhatten and my wife a Pino Gregio. My drink was not very good. I would never order another at your restaurant. It was garnished with a tiny cherry that looked like it was dried out. The size of the drink was reasonable. The wine was passable however both were overpriced for the quality of the drink. For dinner my wife ordered scallops and the waitress said that was her favorite item. I ordered the chopped salad. The scallop were swimming in grease and if you want to see a better and less expensive chopped salad get one across the street at Uno. Bigger, identifiable contents and less expensive. We took what was left of my wifes dinner home and I openned it the following morning. and had to load the container with paper towels to absorb the grease befor we put it in our kitchen trash can . It was our first visit and we went early because we had something to do later that evening. The place is beautiful but we were very disapointed with the food and drinks. One other obervation about the design. The waitress seem like they are a block and a half away. When I asked for our check it was brought to ourt table. The waitress returned to her station at the end of the building, it took me 1 minute to get a card out and she was gone. WE couldn't even see her to wave or something. So we sat there waiting for her return 10 minutes later. Your help is too far from the customer.
Fantastic service and the food was delicious. We decided to dine for a friends birthday and she was thrilled to enjoy a great atmosphere, service and food for her birthday. We will definitely be returning soon!
Firepoint is a bit too pricey for what it is. We had 6 people, each 2 drinks, 5 entrees (2 split a pizza) and 2 desserts. With tip it was $300. We
sat outside which sounds lovely but it was completely covered and we sat on trex-like decking benches. We did have a nice view of the Whole Foods across the parking lot. For this location (between an Ulta and Whole Foods), it felt overly excessive. The service was just average, not overly attentive, not under-attentive. I’ll go back since it’s equi-distant for all of us. I had a turkey burger which was nice ($15). The dessert of a bag of donuts was pretty clever. Richly sugared warm cinnamon donuts with 3 yummy dipping sauces (raspberry, caramel and chocolate). $9 for that. Good beer selection and wine selection. Pizzas were good, said my companions. Wood fired grilled chicken was nice, if a bit boring.
Food was just okay. Nice outdoor area. Good beer and fries.
Lunch at Firepoint Grill never disappoints. Have tried many items off the menu over time but is there is room for dessert, it has to be the freshly made donuts with three different dips. Wow!
It always seem that there is always just one thing that goes wrong with my order on every visit. This time my guest was given an entree he did not order.
Other than the service issues, the food and ambiance are enough to keep bring me back
Felicia was fabulous!! Great attentive waitress. Love sitting outside in beautiful nights. Love all the appetizers especially the pork sliders
The outdoor patio atmosphere is terrific as was the service. I only wish the food matched it. I ordered a chopped salad that was mediocre, at best. First off, there was nothing chopped about it. There were big hunks of lettuce some of which I actually had to cut up myself. The vegetables were minimal at best while the top was loaded with thin fried onion rings...all of this for $18...worst salad I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be going back except maybe for a drink during happy hour.
Good food, good service, quiet time of day. We stopped in for a late lunch and had a nice quiet meal.
Nice atmosphere, but we waited awhile for a table despite our reservation. Thought we'd grab a drink at the bar while doing so, but two bartenders on a busy Saturday night is clearly not enough. We waited almost 20 minutes for our $12 cocktails. Finally, got seated in a terrible spot behind the bar with standing bar patrons butts practically in our faces. Asked to get moved--another 5 minutes. Then, we got seated and ordered, finally!-- and waited AGAIN for a long time before our meals came out. Strange, because when my turkey burger arrived, it clearly had been under a heat lamp for much of the night (the bun was so "toasty" I couldn't bite it and the cheese was burned beyond recognition). The server was sweet about it and quickly replaced and took it off our check, but our overall experience was not worth the effort or cost involved.
Great atmosphere. The service was a little slow. We were in no rush so it wasn’t unpleasant. Although when we wanted the check we couldn’t find our waitress. We enjoyed the outside bar so much that we lost track of time. We would definitely come again.
My restaurant experience was fine. My reservation experience wasn't. The restaurant didn't have the reservation that I made through OpenTable. Luckily this was just a lunch reservation and there were plenty of tables available. I wouldn't have been so fortunate if this was a dinner reservation. In the future I will call the restaurant and make my own reservations....
I am a regular customer to your establishment. I come as often as I can since I have not been anywhere else so far that compares. The food is excellent as is the service. I try to bring a new customer each time I attend and so far all of them have been extremely happy with what they have ordered, with the service and with the ambiance. Thank you so very much!
Great food and service!
Waitress seemed to be clueless. Main entrees arrived as we were still finishing salads, etc. But, they apologized immediately and offered complimentary desserts. Food was terrific - carrot cake was totally the best anywhere!
The evening started out well and appetizers arrived in fairly short order. Then we had to wait an extended time for our entrees.....the waitress kept apologizing for the delay. Our orders were rather simple fare so this long delay was not expected——disappointed.
Great food and service. Have always had a good experience
Steak was fabulous and service was excellent
Great night for sitting outside.
Prompt, attentive service. Yummy chopped salad. Nice atmosphere.
The prime ribs were simply delicious. Also, the succotash with corn, limas, and peas was a new experience. Mashed potatoes were sooooo creamy. Our server was very friendly and professional. The manager came over to check to make sure we were enjoying the dining experience. We were honoring a birthday, and the birthday guy got a free piece of carrot cake that was incredible both in taste and size. We will definitely be back!
Great place to stop on way home from airport on way to West Chester, for a lite bite and adult beverage. The ambience is really nice, both indoors and out...and service is always courteous and pleasant. Need a Firepoint Grille in Exton, Pa!
Delicious, relaxing and very enjoyable. Will definitely be back!
Coming at lunchtime and eating outside was a was a much better experience than the first time I came., 4 months after you opened.
Love the outdoor area
We enjoyed a great meal in a very comfortable environment. I thought the menu selection was great and the food was very good! I did think it was a little pricey but everyone enjoyed their food so it was an overall great experience.
The food & service were good. The outdoor dining experience was wonderful. I think the beers and burgers a little overpriced. But all in all it was a nice experience.
The portobello benedict was amazing. Was a great brunch for my best friend's bachelorette weekend! Thank you!
Food was excellent. Great service. The ambiance was wonderful. Very friendly, not overwhelming noisy. Bright and clean. Really loved the open space and large windows. This is not my first time choosing Firepoint Grill. I always take friends there and we thoroughly enjoy it. Very enjoyable.
Lunch was a business meeting and everything was great.
I just had a tremendous dining experience at Firepoint Grill. The cocktails, including wines by the glass, were excellent and ALL the food was great. But the hands down highlight was what was probably the best prime rib I’ve ever had. I’m 67, and a frequent diner at upscale restaurants. I’ve had prime rib from some of the places most famous for their prime rib (Harry’s Savoy Grill, etc.) Not only was it prepared expertly, but the meat itself had the best flavor I’ve ever tasted in a prime rib. It reminded me more of a dry aged prime cut steak, while it practically melted in my mouth. Highly recommended!!
Food was good. Dessert was very sweet. Service was very good. Friendly staff.
