   Nice setting, good vibe but….. waitress disinterested and kept getting orders wrong…. Kids food before even our starters…. Adults main pasta were uncooked so had to send back and when returned not much better…. This wasn’t el dente it was uncooked….. adult pizza uncooked…. Ended up paying a fraction of the bill which whilst appreciated wasn’t the point we would have preferred good food…. Other reviews were similar. Hopefully it will improve as it’s a great setting and space with good atmosphere.

   I have actually sent an email because I was in fact disappointed with the service. The food was great but we sat for 40 minutes before we had even a drink.... It was very hard to get anyone's attention and so as a result I feel we were abandoned. we had two courses and were in your restaurant for nearly three hours..... We would have probably been there for that length anyway but we would certainly have ordered more food and drinks if we could have done!

   I asked for a a response to my review before posting it publicly however, I’ve heard nothing back from the worst dining experience I’ve had in london. We had to make 3 different orders before we found something that was available on the menu, the waiter was rude and dismissive, 20mins to get a drink which was the 2nd choice as again, there was nothing that we wanted available, the food was below average at best and we ate without a glass of wine because it took another 20mins for 2 glasses of red to arrive. When I said I wasn’t willing to pay 15% service charge on a starter and a main that were thrown on the table in front of us, we weren’t met with an apology, just the fact ‘the service % was for every member of the staff’ regardless of being only served by the one waiter who couldn’t have treated us less like a customer if he tried. He then went to speak to the manager and didn’t even look where he threw the new bill down when he returned minus the service charge. If the chap would’ve shown some understanding and apologised, I’d probably have paid the service charge but he didn’t seem to give a sh*t. We also weren’t the only table getting annoyed at the service levels either we were one of (conservatively) half the restaurant - Considering we would’ve stayed for a bottle of wine and had desert if the service was better, the £120 we did spend on food was a complete rip off as the food was the smallest, and most basic at best. Would not touch this place again - Vagabonds around the corner was much better on every front.

   I have never been so disappointed with the service. We never got any food until and hour and 15 minutes in. Took 20 minutes for side plates then someone tried to clear our starters while we were still eating. We stopped them and said we hadn’t finished and there was still food on the plates he was taking. He took one anyway. Then two minutes later half the mains were put on our table while we were still eating starters. 10 minutes later the other two mains came then 10 minutes after that the mains cutlery came. I actually called the manager over and explained to him we don’t want a discount we just want to enjoy the rest of our meal which he assured us we would. Obviously went in one ear and out the other. Had to ask for toilet roll in the toilets twice and got offered blue roll. Then wanted desserts and tea/coffee but no one came to our table. 30 minutes after waiting we asked for the bill and then he brought us the wrong one. It was an absolute shambles. Having run restaurants myself I do understand how it can get, however, instead of piling more and more people in I would stop the bookings/walk ins to ensure the customers I already had can enjoy their time. Clearly not run properly and this used to be my favourite place when Luca and co ran it and I would be there at least twice a week. Such a shame and I won’t be returning.

   Outside tables are so small and close together, there is no room for the food or the waiters! Our table was unstable, was tricky to ensure our wine did not spill. We were rushed to place our order as the kitchen was busy, understandable on a Friday night.

   Unfortunately one of the worst, if not the worst, dining experiences I’ve had in London. As soon as I walked in, I was rudely greeted and ignored by the hostess. After being escorted to the table, it took 30 minutes until someone responded to our countless attempts at ordering. After finishing our appetizers, our empty plates sat on the table for 30 minutes until we got the attention of the waiters to remove our plates and ask about our main course, and we spent an additional 45 minutes waiting for our main course (total of 1.25 hours waiting after appetizers for our main course). During this time, the hostess ignored not one, not two, not three, but four of my attempts to speak with her. She would actively look, ignore my calls, and assist other costumers and make herself busy with every table but ours. It wasn’t until I called the waiter and specifically asked for the hostess that she came and pretended to have forgotten all four of my attempts at calling her. I was even looking forward to dessert but was not willing to wait another hour for a piece of tiramisu. Never coming back here again.

    Overall we liked the atmosphere and the service was friendly. A nice touch would be for server to come around and ask if everything is ok or if there was anything that we need. We had to request salt and pepper and there was no offer of any parmesan for Italian dishes which is typical in other Italian eateries. Overall we had a good meal and evening out and would go back.

    We’ve been to Fiume loads over the years but this time was very disappointing. Service was slow and surly, needing prompting - it took an hour to get our starters and nearly 2hrs before mains arrived. Starters (red prawn carpaccio, porchetta and bruschetta) were good. Mains less so. The crab linguine was sloppy, almost like Chinese crabmeat and sweetcorn soup, and bland. The lamb ragu was good. We didn’t linger for pudding, given the time. Bill excluding wine was £280 for 5 excluding wine, which is punchy for a salad and bowl of pasta. It’s a shame - has been our go to local Italian for a while but perhaps just suffering with staffing issues post Covid.

    Having loved this restaurant since it opened I’m afraid it’s taken a serious knock-back after Covid (as lots of places have) Our waitress was lovely but the food took far too long (an hour even before starters came) and when it did arrive it was mediocre at best. My husband is Italian and we eat out a lot so we know what to expect food-wise and price-wise. Bill: £250 for four of us. Note: no vegan options on the menu which is insane in 2022.

    Lovely Irish waitress served us - although she could probably do with a little more training (opening bottles and menu knowledge, she was attentive (but not overly so), funny and made the evening better. Food was as excellent as it was 4 yrs ago - a great please to eat.

    Only ever been here for lunch and it's as reliable as usual. Food good, and bliss low noise. Staffing issues like almost everywhere else, so inexperienced staff. Hope the complaint about the gents got through to management. Surprised nobody checks what the cleaners are up to.

    First trip to the Power station and decided to book Fiume over all the other restaurants now open in the development. Great menu and all Italian wine list which was an opportunity to discuss Italian wine with the waiter. Food was excellent, particularly the starters, so was the service. My only negative comment was the lack of atmosphere and despite being busy it was mostly tourists sitting in their anoraks with rucksacks. May be nicer in the evening.

    Turned up on my own without my wife (because she had to look after my sick daughter at late notice). Staff could not have been more helpful organising my meal and sorting out takeaway. Food was delicious.

    Such good vibes - outdoor area had heaters and blankets and felt just the right amount of bougie. Starters were insane (gnocchi and crab pasta). Main of pizza was okaaaay not incredible but all in all 10/10 experience. We also went for sunset and it looked beautiful over the water. Will definitely be going again soon and have recommended to friends.

    Riverside setting is great, especially if you can on their patio. The food is decent - nothing spectacular, but good Italian cooking, executed well - I found the burata starter a little bland and the aubergine parmigiana a touch overseasoned, while the roasted peach and ice cream dessert had a barely roasted peach.. but these were small points in food execution. Would recommend for a casual lunch/dinner, or something more formal like a date due to the setting.

    I loved the ambiance and the service was great but our food was less than exceptional to say the least. The pasta was way too undercooked. While we can appreciate al dente pasta, our meals were just frankly under cooked and hard. Also my beans were undercooked and just not good.

    Not bc a good experience. I never review restaurants but felt compelled to do so on this occasion because it was so disappointing. Took 25 minutes to order a drink and 45 minutes for food. We asked about sharing antipasti between 4 adults and ended up with 4 meatballs (wrong amount, we were told 5) and a prawn dish that had 2 small prawns. I then ordered the fish mixed grill for £26.50 and got 4 small prawns, a scallop and a third of a sea bass fillet! Then there’s the kids meal where my 3 year old wanted a margarita pizza and got one that had been cut from a larger piece (obviously shared with another order and was almost all crust. You also have to wait 20 minutes between ordering drinks and their arrival. I would have complained but was with family and didn’t want to highlight the disappointment we obviously all felt. Not a good experience!!

    We visited Fiume in Circus West Village, Battersea, for lunch. All four of us had the set menu - an Evening Standard promotion. The choices were good and the food was excellent, cooked à point and presented artistically. Sadly, I have to report that the service was appalling; that is, the time of waiting for our main course in an almost empty restaurant was unacceptable. And then again the wait for our desserts. We will go back to give Fiume another try and would not discourage others who might well find a different scenario.

    Welcoming with good atmosphere. Knowledgeable bar manager produce stunning vodka cocktails. Friendly waitresses especially Matilde. Enjoyed meatball antipasta followed by flavoursome wild mushroom lasagne and wild boar ragu pappardelle. 1/2 litre Trebbiano. All good value at £90 inc service. Highly recommend.
