The food was delicious! The ambiance was average and a little distracting (loud) because they had a sales person in staff how to set up and operate a thermometer for guests as they entered the restaurant.

Stopped by today on a beautiful afternoon. Parking is free for 4 hours. Great bonus. Our server Liz and Kim were awesome! Had some fresh shucked oysters on the heated patio. Can't beat this view!

It seemed that there was only one server when we got there, and for the first hour that we were there. We did have to ask the server for drinks several times, rather than her checking to see how we were doing....but she was quite busy. My dinner was excellent, as always, but a bit on the cool side. The crime brûlée was fabulous!

Service was wicked as well as the meal. Definitely recommend the chicken creole!

We had a wonderful dinner - service was as usual excellent and food was super good - only disappointment was a number of menu items were not available

The oysters were particularly excellent and well-presented and our server was wonderful. She was there when we needed and not when we didn’t. It was a great experience.

Food was fabulous. We had the lobster ravioli, mussels in Pernod and Dungeness crab. All seafood is local and fresh.

It was our second time there. Both experiences were amazing. Our favourite place now. Food, service and ambience were all stellar!

We had the best meal I’ve ever had!! The steak was phenomenal. The lobster melted in my mouth. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. I highly recommend going! U won’t be disappointed

Cozy little "Hampton style" restaurant with a great atmosphere. Awesome service (Kim was our waitress) and excellent food. Had the Creole chicken. It was so good!

Wonderful food in a great atmosphere. One of our favourite restaurants in the lower mainland. Worth the drive to get there.

The drinks were done to perfection. Would recommend the Basilica if you’re into gin. As well the chicken creole was amazing, one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time.

Whoever greeted me (not the server) an older man grey/white hair in the back with a mask on - was utterly rude, poor manners and requested to see my prescription (After I showed him my medications for my severe asthma).
Not everyone can wear a mask! Be considerate! I’ll never be back

As always, the food was incredible. We had the Taste of White Rock meals and they were absolutely delicious. Kim was our wonderful server and she was as awesome as she always is! The restaurant felt incredibly safe and it was not crowded. We appreciate and enjoy an evening out such as this now more than ever! Thank you Five!

This was our first dining experience at Five Kitchen and Oyster Bar and we would be delighted to return. In spite of the the Covid limitations that the restaurant had to endure, all aspects of the fine dining were apparent and a credit to the staff and management. Great job and thank you!

Food is good, had a very pleasant server. Ambiance is COVID appropriate. Understandably small wine list but not enough whites for a seafood restaurant.

Our dinner was fantastic and our server was great. We had a wonderful time I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Was decent food and service other than they refused to honour Open Table reward cheque we used for part of the meal. They accepted it at the restaurant and then called me after being really rude saying they refuse it. We won't be returning again despite being here multiple times in the past.

Food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be returning.

Not sure if it was that night specifically but a couple of tables were super loud and it was hard having a conversation with my friends because of it, not the restaurant's fault obviously :)

food took some time to come out, especially the dessert, it took longer than the food but overall the staff were super friendly, the owner was super nice and welcoming and the entrees were great, the appies were okay.

i would definitely return though and try something else.

In these trying times what a pleasure to find an escape.
To feel relaxed, taken care of and most importantly to me right now “safe”.
Let’s face it is so critical in these challenging times to find that balance. I go where I am comfortable, and I do prefer to support the independent small businesses.
FIVE really went the extra mile on all fronts. Their precautions made me feel completely at ease.
The food was absolutely outstanding! My fave starter, really the best jumbo prawns, we could not hesitate to share the ceaser salad, and my mainstay without fail ... the creole chicken. This dish covers it all, which happens to include a few of my faves.
But my friend cannot go any day wrong, with that perfect cook they always maintain on his steak! Their steak board is amazingly delicious every time. Such a great sauce. Peppercorn is our personal fave. But the dark cherry jus, makes it a difficult call every time.
I think it’s important to give a shout out to those that are taking special care in a very unique and extraordinary time in all our lives.
FIVE went out of their way to make us comfortable like they always do, but even more so with all the extras to make you feel they have your best interest in mind during the difficult situation we are currently facing.
Service top notch, and that view ... wow, I can get lost in that ocean and sunset and just forever remain in my happy place.
Even on dull day, West Coast beach dining is beautiful in ANY weather !!

Great food and very good service

Great food. Steak melted in my mouth. My wife had the pasta and loved it. Great view and server was spot on.

Dinner was good but a bit salty. So salty in fact that I sent it back. No problem at all getting the order redone. Next was not salty but flavour was just ok. Will try something different next time. I had the lobster ravioli btw.
